These are great cameras for the price, the motion detection and night vision are amazing, the wires were just about long enough to reach around the red lights look freaky scard

    Achully incredible

Found this system really easy to install, basically plug and play and the Anlapus app is really simple to use, the step up from 720p can definitely be felt and make seeing things like number plates so much easier.

The build quality is exceptional on each part, the cameras are a good size where they fit to the soffits nicely and don’t overhang past my roof and are nice and lightweight but saying that they don’t move about when it’s windy which is a plus

Good quality materials, waterproof cameras and 1tb hard disk for a product that offers good installation possibilities at a low cost.
    Very satisfied.

Within the CCTV world there are 2 ways to go. Wired like this kit, or wireless that generally use Wifi to connect to a cloud based hub.

The Anlapus is the former version and this is more of an on site system as opposed to a subscription based, wireless cloud set up. Each have their pros and cons.

The wired kits are generally a little more involved to set up, where each camera has a wire running from it, to a central DVR. This wire has the BNC connection for the feed, and a power lead. So you really only have to find one route of the cable per camera. You do however have to be mindful to run the wires in a way that they cannot be easily cut, as this would render the camera dead. However a pro of a physical cable is that you dont have to rely on batteries or Wifi signal for it to work.

You also have storage on site with the DVR being the storage area with 1TB of storage in this instance. My maths says that you will easily get 30 days based on 4 cameras.

You can access the DVR through your phone app, to look back at footage and live view, but instead of paying for a cloud subscription, you are basically just accessing the DVR remotely.

This kit is a great price and works well. Camera quality is good and there are no extra costs involved for storage. The only negative is that the install is a lot longer and more involved. You will need to run a cable from the DVR to each of the cameras and this can sometimes be a pain to hide the wires / drill through an outside wall to connect them. You also have a lot of wires at the DVR end (4 x BNC & 4 x power for cameras, DVR power and ethernet), so having somewhere to store all this out of sight is a good thing.

Overall this is a good kit, but a little messier than a wireless set up, but it is basically plug and play and you are sorted. My advice, plan your cable routes first though!

If you’re looking to better protect your home or small business, then this is a very affordable option based on the current asking price.

Essentially, what you have here are four cameras with a digital video recording box. Each camera feeds into the digital recording box and writes onto the 1TB hard drive within.

Being cable based, it is going to take some work to get everything setup. Each cable is an incredibly long 60ft and will transport both video and power. The cameras themselves are very good quality and you will be safe mounting them indoors or outdoors as they are weatherproof. They’re sleek and professional looking, so look great when up in whatever environment you choose. They’re also large enough that potential-intruders will notice them and hopefully avoid the property.

The benefit of the cable-based system is that the quality of the image is very good and far more stable than an image sent over wi-fi. People’s faces are easily recognisable and you get a good enough framerate to monitor activity.

You can also have many cameras running to the box and the box allows you to switch through channels or display many at once. Although the box isn’t wi-fi based, you can connect it to a router and then use applications to access the video, edit it, alert you to movement, etc.

The most difficult part in all honesty in the mounting of the cameras and the running of the cables around the property. Once you’ve done this, the operation of the system and connection to the applications isn’t a huge challenge.

One thing to be aware is that the cameras will only capture an image and not audio. Not many systems do capture audio, but it’s worth knowing. You should also keep in mind that there’s no cloud recording and so if the box was damaged or stolen then you’d lose any potentially useful footage.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good quality and simple to use analogue system then this is going to be a good choice.

Great system and the company is know for security. The installation wasn’t hard at all. The quality in good lighting is true HD at night of course you lose quality but, still very very visible. I remember when 1TB seemed like a lot but, we will easily burn through this amount. Im trying to figure out a way to set it all up with my Alexa Guard. I don’t mind the email but, prefer more access. Will update if i figure out a way to do so. Good product. If you found this helpful hit that HELPFUL button and Follow me on here daily reviews and/or answering questions on the products reviewed
