This is an ok display luckily I only use it for a third rig which I don’t hardly use but yeah the screen is nice and bright and is ok but viewing angles are awful that said for the price you cannot moan! I also bought this as I needed VGA so I can still boot up older systems other than that I would avoid if you want to daily drive a monitor as this will do your head in! The controls are just stupid and irritating and the monitor is so light when you press the button for the menu the whole thing tilts just annoying as hell.

I was fortunate enough to buy this monitor when it was on offer at a reduced price. For general use it is excellent. I had to give a rating for gaming but in truth that remains untested. The software utilities with the monitor appear to be 32-bit so aren’t much use with a 64-bit system although the driver works. The fact is that any adjustments to the picture quality can be easily made using the one button interface at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Downside – It is a shame that the manufacturer felt the need to save a couple of pence by supplying a power lead that would not reach the floor from the top of my desk!
broke my old monitor in a vr accident so needed a cheap replacement and this did the trick, great monitor besides a dead pixel after 3 months of use but that does not bother me
I have purchased a few of these as the quality is good. However, I would have given 5 stars if the power cable was longer. It is a shame that it is so short, so when fitting it on our desks, we needed an extension cord to be able to plug it in as it was so short. The end of the power cable doesn’t even touch the floor when plugged in so floats in mid air with the extension lead.
For the price it’s absolutely a good investment. I connect it to my PS4 for gaming and I must say the colours could be more vibrant – when playing COD I sometimes struggle to distinguish between an enemy and the wall! Despite this I think it’s a good little monitor for the price.
Screen quality is acceptable for the price. Its 60hz so quite respectable and also 1920×1080 resolution. Keep in mind that its not nearly as good screen quality as your usual gaming moniter or everyday monitor. But its good value for money. Happy with my purchase
Edit: It’s power port is a bit dodgy, knock the monitor a little and power cuts out, have to jiggle it around and shove the cable in to get it to work again. But it was 70, not a big deal.

It’s a cheap monitor with HDMI and VGA ports. There’s a single button for power on and menu operations which is very frustrating to use. The stand is also not very secure at all and the instructions actually tell you to tie the monitor to a wall hook for stability.
I’d suggest if you wanted a similar size screen for the same price you should look at the AOC 22B1HS which has a much more stable base and multiple buttons for navigating screen menus. The AOC 22B1HS also comes with HDMI + VGA.
I’ve looked my way through most of the specs regarding the AOC E2270SWHN 22″ monitor and it would appear that, for its price, it has some excellent credentials and as I was to discover, produces High Definition images at 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. However, being as this is a TN or as I’ve recently discovered, a twisted Nematic monitor, then this apparently means two things.
Firstly, they lack 100% accurate colour reproduction and second, to get the best possible clear image on screen you need to adopt a pretty much straight on angle to the screen as any angle other than that can make for washed out colours. Then again, if like me you won’t be firing up your state of the art copy of Photo Shop Pro or bobbing about in front of the monitor trying to steer a spaceship through an asteroid belt in some pc game any time soon, then this incredibly cheap, budget monitor could be the very fella for you.
I bought two of these and have them fixed to the wall by means of a French cleat (see pics) with the horizontal centre at eye level. This viewing angle provides me with razor sharp text whether I’m on word, excel or recording with Cubase and regarding colour, well I can understand the importance of colour variation from a pro photographers or video editors point of view but if not being able to tell the difference between 10 different shades of blue isn’t a deal breaker then you could do a lot worse than choose this monitor.
I like the fact that the HDMI, VGA and power sockets on this model are facing straight down to the floor and inset back from the vesa mountings enabling you to get pretty much flush with the wall if you are choosing this method as opposed to using the included monitor stand.
The monitors I received were just fine straight out of the box and I made no changes to the factory settings. If however, you’re not happy with these factory settings, then a quick single click on the on/off button situated on the right of the monitor will gain you access to the basic OSD settings, these will allow you, amongst other things, to set the brightness, contrast, language and volume. If you require more in depth settings then an i-menu is available to install from the accompanying cd rom.
In summary, this budget monitor delivers great high definition images resulting in crisp, clear text and at this stage I really can’t fault it and although it’s great from my usage point of view it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. At this cost, and bear in mind both the HDMI and VGA cables are included in the package, you are, in my view, getting real value for money.
I use it to extend the screen on my laptop. I use it for music production and various other tasks and it works fine. There is some slight vertical “lining” which I think would be annoying for gaming purposes but I don’t play so it doesn’t affect me. Bottom line, if you want a second screen to carry out non-gaming purposes it’s great for the money but for gaming, look elsewhere.

It’s size means that two or even three windows can be open simultaneously and still be easily used.
This is important when you’ve got an arrange window running and you are mixing and adjusting effects.

But for an inexpensive additional screen, I really have no major complaints.
Very good value and very quick delivery time, quicker than promised. It doesn’t have great colour however, I have it next to another screen (same brand, different model) and the white seems positively pale blue compared to my other monitor. Bit annoying when they are supposed to be the same colour.
But you get what you pay for in life, and I’d recommend based on the cost.

I do wish there were more buttons though. There is only one button to both switch the monitor on/off and to shuffle through the menu and functions. If you wanted to turn the volume up or down, it takes about 10 seconds to do so. There are no +/- buttons, you just have to keep pressing a button until it reaches to the level you want.
But apart from that, it’s great!
I bought this as I needed a replacement to my LG screen, working on a pc all day requires the screen to be better than average. This little gem certainly outweighs my expectations.
Good backlight (the bit that makes the brightness) and this easily coped with sunlight and indoor ceiling lights.
Great refresh rate, meaning the screen scrolls without jitter or weird visual scrambling.
Excellent colour for work in text, editing pictures, video and of course browsing Amazon website.
Size is great, actually feels bigger than the dimensions because the edge frame is thin. The screen is light but solid and feels super stable and very important to me, it can be angled for optimal view of the screen.
All inputs and power as expected, I really cannot say a bad word. AOC was a gamble Asni never had one before, but this paid off because it does exactly what I expected and it does it very very well. Better resolution and refresh rate than some of my expensive screens!
The only issues I have with this is because there is only one button on it, it is hard to configure things like screen brightness or contrast so you have to go from 100% to 1% until you can get exactly so you can’t go back on a slider. The other thing is if you aren’t looking at it straight it won’t look right.
This might be just my unit but the in box stand is quite wobbly and it almost feels like it will break when you go to tilt it.
Other than that great value at on 64 when i got it and makes a good addition to my setup

My only main issue is that the power connector is so short! I had to rearrange my extension lead connectors so I could connect it to a socket in the end. Just wish that the power connect was longer, and then I would’ve gave it 5 stars
Easily plugged in and worked first time. Installed the drivers and was good to go (drivers not needed for it to work though) Great quality, can be viewed from off angle. Screen seems a bit loose on the stand, so when you press the diddy power button it moves the monitor upwards, then when you remove your finger it goes back to how it was. No biggie but might put some people off. I’m happy with it.
This is used as one of a pair of monitors on two computers – a Linux PC and a Mac. It stands on a third-party dual-monitor arm using the VESA mounting on the back. The monitor is light enough not to cause any concerns about mounting it in this way. The stand that comes in the box just slides on if you need it.
The screen is sharp and bright, the controls are easy enough to get used to. Most importantly, it was simply plug-in-and-go. Both the Mac (using the VGA connection) and the PC (using the DVI connection) recognised the monitor and available resolutions immediately and I was up and running within minutes of delivery. There is a driver disc in the box for certain versions of Windows, but wasn’t required in my case.
If you need a decent monitor on a budget, I’d recommend this one.
With it’s straight-forward design, this 22″ monitor is ideal for office/home-office set ups. Whilst it doesn’t feature any form of manoeuvrability, it does support VESA mounting – ideal for wall & arm mounting to achieve that custom positioning you might be looking for. The resolution is 1920×1080 with a 5ms response time.
Although not specifically intended for heavier use, this model can perform at a standard pace when needed. I tested its capabilities on 3 games, including Cities: Skylines, OMSI 2 and Watch Dogs 2 and found that the monitor performs remarkably well. With Full HD LED design you’re obviously can’t expect 4K style gaming but after playing a couple hours on each I can say that I never noticed any bugging-out or visual imperfections. I don’t play shooters or FPS games so I can’t comment on that level, but I’d recommend the 1ms AOC model for that, if you want to keep within this tier of monitors.
Connectivity includes 1 x HDMI and 1 x VGA, with both cables provided in the box. Product support including drivers and software come with the product in an installation disc, but if, like me, you don’t have an optical drive you can download drivers from the manufacturers website. You’ll find 3 basic tools to control the quality and eco-footprint of the monitor. That being said, I can’t seem to figure out how to apply the changes to more than one monitor (I ordered two). It’s also important to realise that a budget-range model like this would seldom feature speakers, and this model DOES NOT. Although Windows 10 does seem to class it as a High Definition Audio Device.

I bought this to replace a very old screen when I upgraded my computer hardware. It’s bright and clear and can produce good quality vdeo at up to 4K.
I liked the narrow edges around the screen and the fact that for a 22″ monitor it seems bigger.
My only small complaint is the amount you can angle the screen. It looked greater in the pictures. The bracket for adjusting the angle is very stiff and I recommend moving it before you mount it on the screen.
Overall though, at this price point you cannot complain.
I’ve bought two of the model E2270SWHN (HDMI+VGA, 21.5′) recently and they are good monitors for the price, have in mind though:
– These specific model doesn’t have the built-in speakers although it has the volume control in their firmware – or it doesn’t work in both of my new monitors (obviously they are pluged by hdmi ports and under the right sound settings on windows).
– You have only color, brightness and contrast control on these, lack options,which it makes a monitor not great, not bad, just average.

but im very happy with them i have a spare monitor i can have as a third so no hassle there i played a few games to see the picture quality and i got to say its quite nice the game latency was fast so if you are a gamer or even day to day things this monitor is worth the money i didnt get any dead pixels as other people did so i cant complain overall i give this monitor 8/10 for price and picture
After thoroughly searching the web for affordable monitors, I found this to be one of the cheapest supporting a 1080p panel – and it is a very crisp display.
However, there are some major limitations with the angles in which you can view this display. The display can only shift very slighty upwards and downwards and the viewing angles are quite poor. Although, I cannot be too critical as this is expected at the price.
The monitor itself is good quality. Both the frame and the stand are made of plastic, surrounding the matte looking panel.
The model I purchased (E2270SWDN) had no speakers or hdmi ports either.
Overall, I would recommend this due to the 1080p display, but if you want something a bit better, it would be worth spending a bit more.

I was only after a mid price screen to work from home and this was better quality than I imagined. Very clear image and able to view HD images.

The monitor is light enough not to cause any concerns about mounting it in this way. The stand that comes in the box just slides on if you need it.
The screen is sharp and bright, the controls are easy enough to get used to. Most importantly, it was simply plug-in-and-go. Both the Mac (using the VGA connection) and the PC (using the DVI connection) recognised the monitor and available resolutions immediately and I was up and running within minutes of delivery. There is a driver disc in the box for certain versions of Windows, but wasn’t required in my case.
If you need a decent monitor on a budget, I’d recommend this one.
Although not specifically intended for heavier use, this model can perform at a standard pace when needed. I tested its capabilities on 3 games, including Cities: Skylines, OMSI 2 and Watch Dogs 2 and found that the monitor performs remarkably well. With Full HD LED design you’re obviously can’t expect 4K style gaming but after playing a couple hours on each I can say that I never noticed any bugging-out or visual imperfections. I don’t play shooters or FPS games so I can’t comment on that level, but I’d recommend the 1ms AOC model for that, if you want to keep within this tier of monitors.
Connectivity includes 1 x HDMI and 1 x VGA, with both cables provided in the box. Product support including drivers and software come with the product in an installation disc, but if, like me, you don’t have an optical drive you can download drivers from the manufacturers website. You’ll find 3 basic tools to control the quality and eco-footprint of the monitor. That being said, I can’t seem to figure out how to apply the changes to more than one monitor (I ordered two). It’s also important to realise that a budget-range model like this would seldom feature speakers, and this model DOES NOT. Although Windows 10 does seem to class it as a High Definition Audio Device.
I bought this to replace a very old screen when I upgraded my computer hardware. It’s bright and clear and can produce good quality vdeo at up to 4K.
I liked the narrow edges around the screen and the fact that for a 22″ monitor it seems bigger.
My only small complaint is the amount you can angle the screen. It looked greater in the pictures. The bracket for adjusting the angle is very stiff and I recommend moving it before you mount it on the screen.
Overall though, at this price point you cannot complain.
I’ve bought two of the model E2270SWHN (HDMI+VGA, 21.5′) recently and they are good monitors for the price, have in mind though:
– These specific model doesn’t have the built-in speakers although it has the volume control in their firmware – or it doesn’t work in both of my new monitors (obviously they are pluged by hdmi ports and under the right sound settings on windows).
– You have only color, brightness and contrast control on these, lack options,which it makes a monitor not great, not bad, just average.
i read some of the customer reviews and some say the picture quality is bad and its not durable and such
i went ahead and bought this monitor at 55 and got two of them wish i got one more before the price went up
but im very happy with them i have a spare monitor i can have as a third so no hassle there i played a few games to see the picture quality and i got to say its quite nice the game latency was fast so if you are a gamer or even day to day things this monitor is worth the money i didnt get any dead pixels as other people did so i cant complain overall i give this monitor 8/10 for price and picture
After thoroughly searching the web for affordable monitors, I found this to be one of the cheapest supporting a 1080p panel – and it is a very crisp display.
However, there are some major limitations with the angles in which you can view this display. The display can only shift very slighty upwards and downwards and the viewing angles are quite poor. Although, I cannot be too critical as this is expected at the price.
The monitor itself is good quality. Both the frame and the stand are made of plastic, surrounding the matte looking panel.
The model I purchased (E2270SWDN) had no speakers or hdmi ports either.
Overall, I would recommend this due to the 1080p display, but if you want something a bit better, it would be worth spending a bit more.
