i was hesitant to buy these at first as im honestly sick to death of buying headset for pc. as i recently had a bad run-in with hyperx and their headsets dying on me 3 times.
i bought these after the bad experience, but can say for me i am really happy i did now as the build quality is so nice, the unboxing experience is quality. the sound is so much clearer and sharper than any headset ive used before enabling me to hear so much more in games.
the build quality is amazing! and the fact that if any of the cushioning gets tired you can easily replace it, same with the tags on the side held on by magnets. they have a nice weight to them but they arent super heavy, they have a good clamping force to stop them flying off your head if you rage lol
im hoping that these last me a long while, will update review if i have any issues.
Bought it as a gift for my brother, the build quality and design are excellent, looks and feels premium, sound quality is very good and the speakers are LOUD! I’m tempted to buy myself a pair, they put turtle beach to shame build quality wise. Also, the box is much nicer too if you care about those things.

These perform like a 60 headset if you don’t have the mix amp. With the mixamp they are 10 times better. May as well just get the A50s
Fantastic headset for gaming…. Great stereo separation .. modable…. And very comfortable….. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they were open cup……. Although that could be remedied with the mod kit …..I love them. My boy went out and bought some based on my recommendation…. He loves then too ….
Alright first of, the sound is great it’s crisp and clear, mic quality was exceptional however I found that the comfort was not what I expected, found my head constrained by this headset even on its biggest setting resulting in head aches after just one hour, My main flaw however was that for no reason audio in the left ear would either cut or become really distorted don’t know if this was a issue with my controller but I’ve never had this issue with my other headset. So just to summarise great sound and mic alright comfort and possible issues with audio in the left ear, would recommend that you only buy this product while it’s on a sale.
To be fair I not used them as was bought for my lad but he recons 5 stars and must be ok cause he has not moaned or complained about them yet. Not the cheapest for wired headset but sometimes you get what you pay for.
My second pair of Astro A40s. Can’t fault them really, brilliant all round headphones and they look the part to..
Astros are top notch products giving the user the best sound quality have been using astro for quite a while so i wanted to upgrade from my old tr headset mod kit fits perfectly and custom speaker tags would recommend this product to thoses looking for a good gaming headse
I’m now never surprised by someone who may be even crouched and walking, as you can still hear steps although very very slightly.
Even if these headphones are damaged (I reckon they’ll last me years), I ‘ll be getting another. For gaming, and watching movies, and everything in between, I use these headphones. Well worth it but expensive.
Picked up an amazon warehouse bargain for these and only had to swap over a cable. The build quality is very good and the sound for gaming is excellent, I wouldn’t recommend for music playback but that’s not really what they’re for and I have dedicated music headphones anyway. The mic is also very good, the fact that the mic, cables and earpads are easily replaced is great and should prolong the life of the headset.
Always taught I had a good headphones untill I used these. The quality and clarity is on point. Don’t think, just buy!
I liked it overall. Nothing big to complain about. Great sound, good mic and impressive design as well.
Only downside is that I have to plug the headset in AFTER turning the console on or whatever. And I have to do that every single time, for the mic to work.

I had 2 Turtle beach XO Sevens for about 7 years witch both snapped because of the cheap plastic head slider but this headset omg I wish I got this headset earlier the ear cups are like soft little clouds on your ears the head slider is metal and it has great sound for rainbow 6 siege all in all I 100% recommend this headset to any one

Looks really good in person, great sound quality for playing games, mic quality is okay. Very comfortable.
