I wanted a quality but small keyboard to travel with. This was way more expensive than the other viable options but having a ROG laptop I was suckered in. The RGB is cool and fully compatible. The volume slider thing on the side is awkward and I keep touching it whilt I type adjusting the volume unexpectedly. The keys feel good, overall I like it. My only gripe is it feels very high off the surface it’s sat on, which is sometimes uncomfortable for me and I have big hands so a female for example may struggle without a wrist support. Overall it is good, time will tell if it’s worth it though. I like the fact it comes with a keyboard cover that protects it in transport. Personally my 30 quid KLIM keyboard is just as good and much lighte

A well-built wireless keyboard with very smooth Cherry MX Red switches. No scratchiness, but some pinging when striking hard. Innovative volume slider / battery indicator on the side and travel case / dust cover is a very neat touch. Lighting is excellent, albeit via Armory Crate software which is not as easy to use as some other brands.

Great little keyboard with good build quality and feel. No latency or noticeable lag from wireless performance
Battery life is average if you have the LED brightness on full.
Armoury crate software is needed to change most modes and check battery life and to change what different buttons do on the side. But the software is slow, crap and unresponsive. Pulls down an otherwise great keyboard

Great keyboard let down by crap software

Keyboard with very good baterie live. One week if is in use a lot if not even up to two weeks when I’m using my pc 4 hours a day. It has berry well let cups with nice structure, finger prints are not visible on them. Volume pad could be more precise.

Great for day to day usage, be careful about chosing swiches brown or red as switches are not hot swappable

This is the best keyboard I’ve ever bought and owned without a doubt. Worth every penny and syncs and adds well to ASOS ROG armoury crate. Easy set up and such a wonderful feeling when typing and using the keyboard. Recommend to do research before buying anything as everyone’s needs and set up different and for purpose. Comes with everything needed out the box. Just install new software update and ready to go 🙂

I’m loving the Falchion. The switches and stabilisers are both lovely and smooth. I suspect they are factory lubed as they are much smoother and less scratchy than on my CM Master Keys Pro L with the same Cherry Reds. The stabilisers are not as rattly as I was expecting after watching the reviews on Youtube, I don’t know if I got lucky or if ASUS made some tweaks but they’re good. The pbt double shot keycaps have a nice slightly coarse texture. They aren’t as thick as aftermarket doubleshot pbt, although for the price I can’t complain. The only thing I don’t like about this keyboard is that I have to use Armourcrate, it’s fine I just don’t like having to uninstall all the aura sync software that I didn’t choose to install. Why did you ask me if I wanted Aura sync if you were going to install them anyway after I selected no I only wanted the Armourycrate software ASUS.

I was looking for a smaller keyboard for my new desk which was smaller then my old desk I was looking at 60% and 65% ones and come across this asus ROG Falchion MX.

It has such a small footprint for a 65% keyboard which keeps the arrow keys and delete key which I liked the thought off I don’t need the number pad so this trade off was goog.

The set up was really easy and worked out the box. I have asus stuff already so armory create ii picked it up straight away and linked the lighting to my other stuff

The red mx switches are nice and feel smooth the sound of the keyboard also is less then my razer one which is really nice.

Being a 65% keyboard I was surprised how quickly I got usesd to the new size.

Battery life also ahs been very impressive and lasting a few days between charging.

Being wiresless I was worried about lag or stuttering or just not regersting but in my gamin sessions on ff7 and resident evil village never had any issues.

If anyone is looking for a smaller wireless keyboard give the asus ROG Falchion MX a look.

I absolutely love this keyboard. It is so much better than typing on my laptop keyboard all day. My son picked it out for me after doing lots of research to make sure that the keys weren’t going to be too noisy on conference calls. The keyboard is also small enough to slip into my bag for the days I need to go into the office.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThere are some things that can be addressed to improve it further. My main issue is the slide on the left hand side, which is one of the selling points of this product. You can change its function which is super cool but I find myself accidentally touching it when I try to change the position of the keyboard on my table for whatever reason. I can’t exactly tell how to overcome this, perhaps if they could put it more in the middle rather than top corner as (at least for myself) that’s the point of contact when you want to move the keyboard or when you want to hold it. If you really hate it, there is an option to disable it too which is a good addition.

Second issue for me is the charging. While charging it increments in 10s so battery goes 30%, 40%, 50% and so on which seems a bit odd? Given the price and the quality of other materials you would expect to see the exact amount of battery left. Not a huge deal I suppose but still I wasn’t expecting this either.

Last point will be the lack of keycap removal tool. It shouldn’t be extremely expensive and I would personally not mind paying a little bit extra just to have a dedicated tool for that. Although I got this on discount, at MSRP it’s closer to the premium range than the budget range.

Other than this, I really liked it. Coming from a full size keyboard I honestly don’t miss any of the extra keys. At times I needed the F1-F12 keys but you can toggle the fn key so if you need to use those buttons heavily you can just lock it and press them as usual (that would mean no numbers 1-9 and symbols assigned though). However, this can’t be seen as a flaw as it’s clearly stated this is a 65% keyboard. Battery life is great, I don’t use the RGB so it’s even better but RGB significantly affects the battery life as far as I can tell, especially if you keep it at highest brightness but again that is normal. Included cover is really handy too, both when I travel and when the keyboard is standing on the table unused.

It’s not THE BEST keyboard, and certainly not the best option if you’re into keyboards and you know a fair bit about keyboards (didn’t mention it but the keycaps aren’t the best + you can hear body making some noise at times) but for a general user, given it’s on sale like now, this is a really good buy. Would give 4.5/5 if I could.

Finally what I was looking for in a keyboard, good build quality, attractive, and impressive battery considering the size. If you are looking for a 60 percent backlit keyboard that has good wireless functionality and attractive aesthetics with great build quality I would reccomend. Additionally the software (which isnt required) is mercifully easy to use and lightweight compared to something like ICUE which is pure trash

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI switched to the 60%-65% layouts after wanting to reclaim my desk space from using a full size keyboard. The ROG Falchion does a great job of giving me space on my desk, and providing a great typing experience without compromising on the additional controls typical 60% layouts remove. I’d actually go so far as to say this is about as good as keyboards get without going the custom route.

The keyboard uses Cherry red switches, and they work well, are fast and slick, and although my personal preference is for a more antisocial clicky switch, I have found the typing experience to be an absolute delight on this keyboard, once I got used to the linear switches and the lower actuation force. The customisable slider on the side is an interesting alternative to keyboards with rotary switches, and although I would like to be able to switch the functionality of the control to more things, its really good to have something to act as a volume control on the keyboard.

Its absolutely great to have this keyboard in a UK layout. That means no running around trying to find backspace (useful when you need to access network shares) and all the buttons are exactly where you need them to be. It also means we get a full height enter key. Its great to have the key navigation keys on there too. Dedicated cursors makes a huge difference to a lot of text based activities such as coding and navigating round a spreadsheet.

Customisation is done through the Armoury Crate application, and it works pretty well. Although there is an option for custom lighting, I avoid it as having separate lighting configured for the keyboard layers makes it easier to tell them apart. There are five customisable layers on this keyboard, and what I have done is setup layers with certain keyboard shortcuts and to run certain programs that I commonly use, making them easy to get to without going through the start menu. The RGB is bright and clear, but easily adjusted to be less intense, and RGB modes can be switched temporarily with the keyboard controls.

I have seen some people have issues with Alt+function key presses, but this is easily remedied by using the left alt key instead of the right (right alt would technically be AltGr, not Alt anyway).

Overall, this is not a cheap keyboard, its definitely a premium product, and although not perfect, its the one that is closest to my ideal keyboard that I have found and the only way I will get everything I want is to go the full custom route and spend about three times the price. At that point, I’ll take almost perfect, which is pretty much how I would describe the ROG Falchion.

Good quality, expensive for what it sells, latency free gaming Cherry Reds mechanical keyboard (UK only gets Cherry Reds at the time of this review), it’s small ergonomic size makes it great,

However, the side panel that is its unique selling point, isn’t working as it should, when I try to change the volume the volume will change after 5-10 seconds, there’s a massive delay and sometimes it will randomly change the volume. So really, I would say the main selling point of this device is really just that it’s one of the very very few wireless mechanical keyboards that uses USB receivers rather than USB, so it works perfect for wireless gaming.

The keyboard is fantastic. Extremely high quality, solid build etc. I ended up impulsively buying this as I was struggling to find a decent wireless, high speed keyboard but honestly this one ticks all the boxes.

I almost gave it 4 stars due to the absolutely horrendous software you need to download in order to program the RGB lighting. Took me hours to get it working correctly but it seems like it was just struggling to complete all the necessary updates. I still think the software is poor but the actual keyboard makes up for it. It absolutely is quite pricey but if you’re in the market for this kind of keyboard then just grab it, you won’t regret it.

I got the cherry mx red switch version, and I have to say I wasn’t expecting the keys to feel as smooth as this. Stabilisation is better than my previous keyboard. I’m definitely not a keyboard fanatic, so im sure there are way better. Going from a logitech g503 carbon with GX blue switches to this is an absolute treat. The capacitive touch bar on the side has been disabled, bit gimmicky, but apart from that for a whole gaming experience it is great so far. Pricey, but actually quite nice

So far so good, not quite used to the reduced layout but I will soon adapt. Love the volume control slider on the side and the whole thing fits nicely in the side of my laptop bag

I have been using ROG Falchion for a week, and I believe it will stay as my main daily driver.
Incredible battery life, it has been 17 days since I last charged it and it is still going.
The form factor is very comfortable and the navigation keys are something that I was looking for after the 60% keyboard that I have been using until now.
You might want to grab some lube for the switches, the Cherry reds have a bit of ping from the springs.
    Over all 10/10.

This keyboard has the perfect size to be the best small keyboard. I’ve had other 60% like the Anne Pro 2 and the Hunstman Mini which felt really cramped and typing was strange. I hated typing on the Hunstman Mini because the keys were too close to each others. This Asus keyboard have some spacing between keys which is really necessary imo for typing. It has the best RGP on a keyboard and comes with tons of features like the side sound volume feature. Also. this is the only 60% keyboard (that I know of) that comes with the arrow keys on the right which was one of the reasons for me to buy this, hence it is just a few mm longer than the Huntsman Mini. Build quality wise, is the best I’ve tried on a keyboard. Very sturdy and elegant.

So, what are the cons of this keyboard? It wobbles just a little bit. Huntsman Mini wobbled worse than this. I’ve tried this on different straight surfaces and the wobble was the same. One last thing to say, while this keyboard has 3rd party keys, the Red Cherry, I am not a fan of Cherry’s keys. I much much prefer Razer’s keys. The Huntsman Mini with Linear keys has the best keys on any keyboard. They are very good to type on. So, let’s hope that we see more companies implement what Razer’s did by making their own keys because let’s think about it, if companies use 3rd party keys, then all keyboards will be partially identical right?
