Very happy, although installing a custom windows 10 was problematic.

Turns out a simple change in the bios sorted that out, its been about 10 years sense i bought my last motherboard, so lots of new features to learn even though i have been keeping up a little on computers on youtube.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love it ! Took my 5600x and 1660 super without any updating of bios, but please excuse the French, what a flipping pain in the arse it was too do. If you do buy this motherboard don’t worry about having the 4 pin connector in as long as you have the 8 pin in (appears to be for maximum oc) took me 3 hours to figure this out and it’s had me up a tree. But apart from that it’s beautiful

Many features to use. WiFi is really good. Lots of usb ports. Only thing I dislike is how it doesn’t have a digital dolby port. Massive loss in my opinion. Super relevant to have that port still to this day.

The mother board is good, it has two problems , 1 it only has 1 second gen argb socket but easily solved with splitter cable
2 can’t get the WiFi to work even with the latest software and enabling it in bios.

Doing a build with a 5600X bought from a friend so needed an AM4 motherboard. X570 is overkill for most uses, B550 does fine. This board has a couple of spare PCIes for future stuff I might want and plenty of relatively modern back USB ports and USB headers. Good design and having wifi is just nice. ASUS are usually a bit expensive for me but this was a really good deal.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got this board because its has the lowest DPC latency for DAW audio production out of any other board thats out there. Its also very well packaged with lots of features, but really this one special feature is what makes it stand out for me.

EDIT I ADDED this. DONT bother with Asus cash back, its just a scam. They make up some nonsense why they wont pay you. In my case they wanted a printed invoice from amazon rather than the one they sent by email. Told me to upload it at a site where you cant upload anything from the link they provided, and of course no way to contact anybody by email, they contact you with a no reply email then impose an arbitary time limit for this impossible task. A total closed system of course with no redress.

Wont be buying from Asus again.

Sweet mobo..easy to install…great amount of fan headers ..great CPU support…just needs better windows 11 sound driver support as it’s only windows 10 that supports sonic studio..and sonic radar..but you have to install the older driver …

Normally I would purchase a ready made PC from a main stream manufacturer. However, decided this time to custom build a PC that would come in at the same price and have a better specification. The build of the components onto the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi ii motherboard was straight forward (processor AMD 5600G, Crucial Pro DDR4 memory, Crucial P3 Plus M.2 SSD and then all assembled inside a Fractal Pop Air case – the most difficult thing was the routing of the various cables to ensure a neat build). BIOS update was straight forward due to the flashback feature on the motherboard. So far the PC is working as expected and is nice and stable. Motherboard came with additional cable ties to aid routing of cables / wiring, stand off needed for placement of M.2 SSD and SATA cables.

Easy to set up and configure the BIOS to my current hardware and other components.

I don’t need a particularly high-end board, and this one is a downgrade from a Gigabyte board that just stopped working.

Asus tend to do quality items, and so far everything is working as needed. Not as noisy as the Gigabyte board either.

Just installed an M.2 SSD that works well.

Been using this for the past 3 months and it’s a quality board. can’t fault it so far.
thing’s I see people complain about are down to window’s faults and not knowing what to do. nothing to do with the board if they did some research.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMoved onto the am5 and my first choice was a Msi b650 tomahawk and it was dreadful I’m not sure if it was faulty or poorly manufactured but it wouldn’t post half the time so I had to return.
This rog b650e f board is absolutely brilliant it’s a very solid board and looks nice too.
Not a single problem everything works as it should and powers my 7900x nicely.
Has all the connections I need there was no reason to buy a x670 Board.
A must buy if your not waiting to spend hundreds more but still have the extra goodies being a e board.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am having a nightmare with this board, from failing too recognise M.2 drives too audio driver issues too a limited range of options in the BIOS or at-least clear menu system, too RAM issues too

it’s a very solid board though in weight and design/features and take my review with some pinch of salt as it might be other hardware at fault (but i don’t think so)

really wish i picked up another board all and all….never experienced this much headache on the simplest of tasks, i don’t even want to think about trying overclocking with the stability problems I’ve had

on the positive side, the wifi and Bluetooth capability built seems really impressive
