This monitor is amazing, but I also got 2, 27 inch ones that are not up to par..wonder if it’s the luck of the draw when it comes to what you get. Going to see if I can get the 27inch ones replaced. But the 34inch curved one is just amazing for picture quality .. See the video.. BTW don’t hold your breath for speaker quality.

Easy set up and amazing build quality, really good rotation and tilt, amazing screen to body ratio, the best picture quality for the price point.

I’ve upgraded from 1080p to this resolution and to me the difference is material and appreciated. Since my purchase, ASUS have been out of stock on this product meaning other sellers have been able to jack the prices up significantly, hence my regret at not buying two at the original price when ASUS had them in stock.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI finally decided and bought this after a lot of searching and comparing.
This monitor is great addition to a gaming set up. I bought it for the purpose of making it my main gaming display, I have a gaming laptop and wanted a bigger monitor. I project the display from the laptop to the monitor with a DP cable and it’s perfect. Absolutely no problems. I only play first person shooter games mostly Escape From Tarkov. This monitor is perfect for that.
The curve of the screen is just perfect, I was looking at a 1000r and a 1500r but I decid3d to go for this one at 1800r for the less severe curve and its spot on.
Poctire quality os perfect, I have v sync enabled with my gpu to eliminate and screen tearing also.

I would recommend this no problem for anyone that’ds looking for a high quality gaming monito

Great addition to my gaming setup

Monitor has a solid build feel with what feels like quality materials. Great display with fantastic refresh rate. Plays nice with FPS games and cinematic RPGs. Would recommend.

Im no PC nerd but decided to upgrade my gaming experience from my 15″ laptop screen to this monster.

Crisp, bright and vibrant colours. This screen has definitely improved my K/D.

It’s a great monitor, too bad for the low energy rating but everything else is perfect!

    5.0 out of 5 stars It's great!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat a rollercoaster of emotions this monitor has been. Upon receiving it I immediately liked what I saw however upon playing some fast pace games such as Doom Eternal or Hades I began to notice red / green ghosting. Ultimately I was going to return the monitor but I decided to give it one last try, hooked it up again and tweaked the settings, namely reducing the OVERDRIVE setting, and the red / green ghosting was almost imperceptible. My understanding is that when you actually do run this monitor at 165hz, its basically too fast, and causing problems with the picture. So a little bit of faux-advertising by Asus however all other manufacturers do the same thing. This shouldn’t be advertised as 165hz because you get a much better experience with the OD setting off. Anyway, I decided to keep it, and think its a very nice quality screen for the price.

So decided to upgrade my monitor. Been using a BenQ gaming screen for along time now 1920 x 1080. Decided its time to take the leap, even went for curved. Well i am very impressed eith what I got and I 100% happy i took the jump forward for this monitor 10/10!

What can I say? It’s perfect. This was purchased from Amazon warehouse secondhand with cosmetic damage. I’m yet to find any damage on it.
165hz is achieved on DP but you loose HDR.
So I use hdmi for 1440p 144hz with HDR and it’s just stunning.
It works, it’s beautiful, it does exactly what it says on the ti

Really good quality and works pretty well, just remember to change your refresh rate in your computer settings! I forgot and it had been running at 60hz and when I realised I manually changed it on my computer to run at 165hz,as advertised. It’s got a really good range of movement and while the curve took a bit to get used to, I really like it now and feels good to use. It can be difficult to transport as the stand is only compressed by the weight of the monitor so if its on its side for example, it extends fully but its pretty much a non issue and fairly expected.

I’m so impressed with the visuals of this display but one thing did about me, I was checking my video settings on my series x and discovered this monitor doesn’t display 120hz unless used with a display port. Not the monitors fault but would have been nice to know its HDMI 2.0 and not 2.1

Excellent 1440p monitor definitely an upgrade over 1080p.
Only gave it 4 stars as it seems the one i received from Amazon was shipped with an E.U plug lucky enough i had a plug from an old laptop which fitted fine. The monitor comes with the clover leaf type kettle lead.

I was expecting some colour distortion when not sat dead centre but any distortion is minimal. The picture is crystal clear while gaming and provides plenty of real estate for media editing too! If you order this from the UK, be aware that this has a European plug, so you will need an adaptor as well.

Wasn’t able to use monitor, but it was a big heavy box. Bought for my son but didn’t need as his father bought him a monitor beforehand without me knowing for his bday. Great Amazon service though with shipping and care with social distancing.

Picture quality/colour etc is perfect. Took a a day or two to get used to the curved monitor. I think its great for gaming and is great for competitive games like Tarkov.

Was easy to put together and only had to reduce the brightness by 10 for my personal preference.

The monitor is also great to angle up/down left/right and the height is easily adjusted.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat monitor for gaming. High frame rate is one of those things that after you’ve experienced it, it’s difficult to go back to a standard frame rate. HDR looks great on this monitor when turned on and calibrated properly. Unfortunately turning on HDR makes the low motion blur and shadow boost unavailable so you’ll have to choose which you’d prefer. The sound quality of the built in speakers is pretty poor but I use a headset with my computer so no issues. I noticed other reviewers had problems with the stand but I found it very sturdy and easily adjustable.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great 1440p monitor for the price – the only issue is that it blurs quite badly at times. You also can’t have ALMB on at the same time as Adaptive Sync, so you have to choose between slightly less motion blur and FreeSync/G-sync (Not G-Sync compatible but works anyway). Twiddling with the settings mitigates the problem a but but still, motion blur and ghosting are a bit of an issue. Other than that though it’s a pretty dang nice monitor – just be prepared to not quite reach the maximum framerate of 165hz in anything but older games unless you have a 2080ti at least.

This monitor is gsync compatible. Set it through the Nividia control panel. I upgraded from a 200 1080p 27″. It was a good decision it as given my gpu 1070gtx a new lease of life. I’m based in the U.K. the monitor shipped with a 2 pin European plug. I just cut it off and put a U.K. 3 pin. It is not the usual kettlelead. It shipped witha display port cable. It as only hdmi and display port NO vga socket.

Love it. Curve isn’t too aggressive. Which is exactly what I was after. I’m so happy with this monitor. Display is on point. Variable refresh up to 165hz. 1440p. At this price point!? Can’t be beaten right now. Trust me I’ve hunted and hunted.
I have 2 small gripes with this monitor that barely affect usage at all.
1: has an external power brick, it’s small, but would have been nice to have been built into the monitor.
2: no built in USB hub. I wanted this feature but all
Other monitors with it had a very aggressive curve!

All in all, I love it and I’m so happy I upgraded.

Great monitor. I can’t fault anything about it. Build quality excellent, picture clear, crisp and vivid. Does 165hz with ease! Not full HDR but the option for HDR 400 is there if you want.

ONE COMPLAINT, is that only an EU plug was supplied and no UK plug was as stated. So be sure to maybe email beforehand or else get ready with an adapter lay about! Was annoying I had to steal the Mickey Mouse laptop charger from my laptop to plug into the monitors power brick. But other than that a great montio

The monitor has a crystal clear view and I like a lot that you can rotate it and adjust the high very easy.
The speakers are not too strong, but should be just enough for watching a movie (not the best if you want to listen music).
For the purpose that I bought this monitor, I will give 5 stars.

Curved monitor for the gimmick. To be honest I was just looking for a reasonable 144Hz+ 1440p monitor and this is the best one at a reasonable price range. Absolutely beautiful. Very happy with the choice. Playing AC: Odyssey at the minute on 1440p, looks fantastic.

Right so like what a lot of other people have experienced, the colour balance right out the box is bad. But once you set up the colours correctly (I changed a few settings in nvidea control panel), this thing is great. Games that supoort HDR like RDR2 look great on this thing and its so good to have both 1440p and high refresh rate. Biggest down side I can think of is that brightness isn’t that great with HDR on in games.

So besides a bit tuning of the settings here and there, its a great monitor for the price

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersIt’s bright, has great vertical adjustment, high refresh rate, nice resolution – damn near perfect.

But I have had a couple of issues:
    – in sRGB mode it had some trouble displaying red text on black – it looked like a sharpness filter issue possibly, but it was unreadable. In other modes it was fine. I ended up using “Racing” mode.
    – it seems to flicker a bit when games switch display modes for full screen etc – it’s only brief and doesn’t really impact my enjoyment of the screen.

    Notes:
    – HDR and Freesync compatibility with nVidia graphics cards requires a 1000 series or above – my otherwise fantastic 980 Ti cannot run this screen in variable refresh mode or HDR400. I’ll have to wait until I upgrade my graphics card before I can fully enjoy this monitor’s capabilities, though I can at least run at a high refresh rate and 1440p.

    Addendum:
I got a 3060 Ti and can now test the HDR and VRR functions. Both seem to work nicely over displayport – though it’s worth noting that 165Hz is pushing the limits of the displayport 1.2 port without HDR, if you want HDR enabled I recommend dropping the refresh rate slightly (120 Hz).
The HDMI 2.0 ports can’t manage 165Hz without chroma subsampling even with HDR off so I recommend 144 Hz over HDMI for non-HDR, and 100Hz or less in HDR mode.
