Wanted a decent laptop and was prepared to pay about 1000. Having read reviews and compared every manufacturer and laptop to death, I went with Asus, upon deciding that, I then came up with this little beauty, just less than 20% over budget, but htf, it’s brilliant, I love it. The screen is ridiculously good, the colours really pop, watching nature programs or documentaries about the universe beautifully showcase the sheer gorgeousness of the screen. Screen Brightness, volume and backlights for keyboards can all be quickly and easily managed via use of the ‘f’ keys at the top of the keyboard. Getting used to the touchpad can be a bit tricky, but not impossible even if you’re not used to it. This one however is reasonably intuitive (after a while). I do recommend a decent mouse and laptop tray to use it on. Volume output is very good but not altogether exceptional, however using earbuds etc will render lovely, smooth and more than adequately loud volume levels. Battery life is brilliant, one full charge should see you through at least one day of heavy use. Fans are barely audible through most usage and the laptop really gets more than warm, in fairness this is for moderately taxing applications, it may be worse when maxed out. All in all, if you are willing to part with slightly more than 1000, then look no further for a brilliant laptop for the money.

The display is absolutely stunning, glossy with vivid colours. I run it at max resolution 3840 x 2400 & it’s amazing.
Came with Windows 11 installed. First time I have used windows 11 & its brilliant. Boots in less than 5 seconds.
Battery life is brilliant, runs for hours.
Build quality is fantastic, not certain if its an aluminium chassis but it feels so solid.
I understand the criticisms about the keyboard back light being white with silver keys but if you angle the display, it’s really not an issue.
I play games occasionally, usually the same ones, the difference in the graphics quality is stunning & I have not yet noticed any fan noise even during heavy demands on the CPU & graphics card.
Its also very light & as such very portable.
If you are considering this laptop, stop considering & buy it. you will not be disappointed.

Only downside to this purchase, not product related was the delivery, Amazon used DPD & they were useless, updating the tracking stating they had tried to deliver at 10pm, no one home to receive it, this was posted at 9am the same day? They then did not try to deliver it again for 2 whole days. Customer service number is a joke, on hold for 1 hour then gave up. Eventually received in a battered cardboard box, fortunately the laptop was not damaged. I pay for Prime & expect much better.

Really like this machine, I’ve had it a few months now and it’s brillia t.

My only minor gripe is the keyboard is grey with white light under them. So it’s almost impossible to see which keys are which! But that’s a minor problem really. Maybe take note Asus.
