On the plus side it looks nice and it beautifully packaged – like opening a new iPhone

However . It’s heavy, has a sharp metal edge and the battery life is nothing like the claimed performance. The screen is not the killer feature I was expecting and very little difference to most current laptop models. Finally, like some other reviewers have mentioned, the gunmetal case is a fingerprint magnet and looks awful after a few minutes of use. I was very disappointed.

I returned it and bought a Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 which was light, fast and has great graphics.

So glad that made the switch even though returning items with lithium batteries is a real pain as the customer has to source a courier themselves and most won’t accept lithium battery products.

Absolutely good quality, the screen is fantastic, with a decent CPU, though I have not tested the Intel Arc GPU, guess it should work well with most games. Easy to carry, easy to write on. The distance of the keyboard is OK. Could be better if there were two memory slot.

One of the best laptops form ASUS and I could not find anything which would come even close from other manufacturers. All electronic and mechanical CAD packages works very well and My desktop publishing and graphic SW is fantastic on true to live colors. Included Asus Pen is a nice touch. I will enjoy working with it.

overall it is a good set up, not that I am very clued up to give proper judgment, but for a casual user like me it is absolutely great and I am satisfied .

Beautiful screen. I used to have MacBook pro late 2019 and thought it had one of the best screens. The screen on this laptop is twice as better. Higher resolution and refresh rate makes it beautiful. Good price for powerful 6 or 8 core processor and 16 gigsl ram. Hook it up to egpu and you have a proper power station. Speakers suck though. Sound quality is terrible, it was expected though. Bacically all windows laptops have bad speakers, so it’s fine. Touchscreen and stylus are amazing. I used to have ipad pro 3rd gen and was afraid that this transition would feel like downgrade. However it did not. This laptop is truly a great machine. Touchpad is good as well. Keyboard feels amazing and has num pad. I don’t know what else to say. It doesn’t run games really, because it has integrated gpu, but that was totally expected, as I said, buy an egpu for ~300 (or 100 second hand) and gpu you like 300 – 2000 (for this machine I would strongly advise rtx 3060 or 3070 400-600) and you have a powerful machine with great screen and all aspects top notch. I’ve been with it for 2 months already and have nothing to complain about.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI love the feel of this laptop; solid, smooth hinges, fast. Everything I wanted after returning a Dell laptop for terrible customer service. The OLED display is stunning and the Windows Hello function works very well. A little disappointed that the camera is only 720P. There really seems no reason to have a webcam less than 1080p these days.

However, the 2 main issue are:
1.. when putting the laptop into tablet mode (ie keyboard underneath facing down) the keys are not disabled! Why? The result is that I get spurious key presses and the annoying “do you want to enable sticky keys” all the time. There seems to be no way round this, so I tend not to use tablet mode for drawing, which is a real shame!

2.. Battery life is terrible. I’ve never had it last for more than 2 hours whilst just doing average computing tasks such as a few documents, a couple of you tube videos, some photo editing etc. It’s very annoying to be sitting with the laptop on your lap and after an hour getting the low battery warning, so I always use it on mains now. No big deal for me, but for those on the go it certainly would be. This is with the refresh rate turned down to 60hz and the screen so dim that I can barely see it.

Overall I’m happy with it. The price is good, the speed is good, the screen is excellent, the build quality is excellent. If those 2 niggles were sorted out would be an excellent buy.

Laptop is fast, stylish and the screen is fantastic. Really bright colourful and responsive. Keyboard and trackpad nice to use with well-spaced keys.

Battery life is ok nothing special but there is a lot of power and that display to run.

The only downside to this laptop is the ARC GPU, which although does have enough power to run games at 1080p with decent settings, far better than the Intel XE graphics. The drivers aren’t mature yet, so I have found a few compatibility issues and crashes in games. I expect this to be resolved though through driver updates.

Very pleased with my new Asus Zenbook Flip. The OLED display is awesome and ideal for my photo editing. It is very well built using alumium rather than plastic for the screen cover and body so inspires confidence in its build quality. Battery lifetime seems very good so far. Compared with my previous two latops, MSI and Aorus this albeit not a 17″ screen does the job for me. The touchscreen and pen are accurate and great to use when editing photos. I don’t do gaming but i am sure this would be up to the job.
