Although this product arrived in a crumpled cardboard box that didn’t look very premium, the dark glass jar inside is cute and the product itself is beautiful. It has a lovely smell that is spa-like and luxurious, without being too heavy on the rose (I’m not a fan of rose!) It has a thick texture and a very pretty shimmery effect both in the jar and on your fingers.
The scrub is gentle with very fine exfoliating beads, and it spreads easily onto the skin and has a slight warming sensation when it’s massaged in. It leaves my skin looking bright and feeling softer and smoother. It is quite mild so probably not the product for those who are looking for something that will quickly and completely remove stubborn dead skin, but a lovely product otherwise, if you’re willing to ignore the high price!
This brand is new to me but I was so excited to try it out. This is a beautiful rose scented facial scrub, the beads are tiny and feel very gentle on the skin.. it doesn’t feel abrasive or irritating to my skin at all. I’ve been using it a few times over the last week & a half and I skin feels so soft afterwards. I follow with a toner & serum from the same brand. It feels so luxurious on the skin, which at the price point it really should feel this way.
The condition of my skin has improved since using this product, it looks fresh and it has a healthy glow.
Its an expensive product but I don’t mind investing in good skincare, you really only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. The tub should last me a few months as I think now I can cut down my usage to one or twice a week.
I also love that the brand is cruelty free and the packaging is fully recyclable.
I adore this and I would 100% recommend this product, I’m so excited to try more from this brand.
This is a really nice face scrub, I have sensitive skin and sometimes struggle with physical scrubs being too harsh for my face but this one is so gentle. The particles are barely there and so small, which I definitely prefer.
I haven’t experienced any negative reactions to it. It rubs into the skin nicely, not too much product is needed and there’s an immediate warming effect when you start massaging your face which is really nice .
It’s quite a fine scrub so relatively gentle yet very effective. There’s a mild scent to it which is nice but not overpowering.
It’s fairly easy to rinse off, I usually go over my face with a face wash afterwards just to ensure all the little fine grains have been removed. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft as well as brighter and generally healthier. I use this twice a week and have seen noticeable improvements to my skin so I have no complaints at all!
This exfoliater is very fine, it is very gentle and the grainy particles are very tiny. I would prefer it if there were more particles, as there doesn’t seem to be a high concentration in the product, but it does effectively scrub the face and does not irritate the skin at all. My face feels soft and smooth afterwards with no red patches, it feels very comfortable.
This exfoliating preparation from the Avant range fills an important gap in your Skincare Regime by removing dead skin cells and debris at the end of a hard day. The interesting thing about this product is that the particles are very small but still abrasive allowing the cream to do its job but with minimal irritation and redness, a godsend if you have a very delicate or easily damaged complexion. The other great plus here is the fact that although you need to use a good moisturiser afterwards, this exfoliator doesn’t rough up or dry out your skin. With key goodies like Rose, Vitamin E and Papain in the blend this is also a nourishing product which offers a light but lovely Rose scent. In the premium beauty sector the Avant brand is one to watch and this a worthy and useful addition to the range.
This is such a lovely gentle face exfoliant which should be used freshly cleaned skin.
Once then you a apply and gently exfoliate in upward circular motions. Lightly massage onto face and neck in circular movements, concentrating on the forehead, nose, chin and jawline, avoiding the eye area.
I found doing this for around a minute works really well and helps to get rid of the dead skin cells.
I washed this off with luke warm water and then pat my face with a flannel.
After using this, my skin felt so soft as if I had just had my facial.
As this is still an exfoliant it should not be used every day and would recommend 2-3 times a week if needed.
These are tiny particles so can’t really see them in the cream but they really work on your skin. As they’re small it’s especially good for around the eye area. The smell is good too. My face felt great after using this and I really like the range in this brand
When describing this I am loathe to use the word scrub as that implies something harsh and this lovely product is anything but that. It is a beautifully rose scented exfoliant which you apply to cleansed skin and massage into your face and neck using circular movements. It made my skin feel super clean and really refreshed and unlike other scrubs/exfoliants I have used actually reduced redness as opposed to increasing it. My skin felt really smooth and as though it had a salon treatment. It was one of those products that was a joy to use as opposed to just something you have to do. The only thing stopping me giving it five stars is the price but it is a seriously lovely, luxe product and if you have the money it is ideal.
