Simply the best available at a fair price, can’t be beaten for quality & value.
Bought this for my husband who normally needs a size L. I ordered an XL as he needed to wear it over a jumper, and this proved to be the correct size and not too baggy. It’s really well made, but expensive. I managed to get it when it was discounted and my husband is happy. He has several other so called ‘waterproof’ jackets which have let the rain in. So far this one has proved to be the best at keeping the rain out.
I thaught it was a fleece lined jacket but it’s just a waterproof windbreaker but I just ware a tracksuit hooded jacket underneath so tis good for winter and summe
Does what it says on the tin. Lightweight, keeps out the wind and the rain for a long time. Stick it your bag and go.
Ideal lightweight shell for heavy downpours, bought this for a trip to the Scottish highlands and wasn’t disappointed. Great for the wind and waterproof outer layer of a layering system for wet weather. Very lightweight so mind barbed wire and thorns.
What more could you ask for in the summer months in England, than a packable coat that you can easily take with you just in case.
It poured down and we were out in it all weekend, not a drop made it through the jacket. I’ve hadany waterproof jackets this is by far the best. Simple design that works.
This is great for a waterproof on a budget.
Its comfy enough, nice bright colour, and it’s definitely very waterproof. Will keep you dry. It’s a shell, so zero warmth or insulation, but plenty of room underneath to layer up.
It’s definitely at the old skool cagoule end of the spectrum; not particularly stylish, not particularly breathable, and feels a little like wearing a plastic bag. So not a great choice if you want to look and feel stylish. But a great option for a cheap coat to keep you dry.
Had the original version but aid left it hanging up with dog treats in and you can guess the remainder of the story. Bought the Paclite Peak at a really good price but returned it as I prefer this version. Really smart on, great fit. Everything perfect. One thing that would be really useful is either an external or internal chest pocket but all the same I am very happy.
Best lightweight waterproof jacket ever had, with a inner layer became also very warm and makes you comfortable all weather. I am 176 cm tall and 82kg, L size is perfec
The inner side of the jacket has a warm comfortable feel, in comparison to 2.5-layer jackets I have own which have a cold, plastic feel to them.
The downside are: 1. No hanging loop on the inside, 2. No double-face zipper to pack in its pocket.
Overall, a great jacket, especially given the price.
Bought as a replacement to Berghaus Men’s Paclite v1 and, for me, lacks the style of the original. Better price here on Amazon – much better than the manufacturer’s site price even with 10% off.
I purchased this when it was at its lowest price for a long time so a real bargain but would have paid a lot more as its such a great lightweight waterproof jacket, highly recommended
Great jacket . Very light and very waterproof . I us mine on long distance walks as it’s so light and stores down to very little. Its been well tested in torrential rain on the outer Hebrides this year .. I own 2 thats how good they are ..
These are great jackets. So much so that my last one was stolen! So I was pleased to get a good deal on Amazon. My last one came in a small bag, which I liked but isn’t essential and the jacket is the important thing!
