Upgraded from a bestway 10ft fastset pool. Really happy with the 10ft Steel Pro max feels so much bigger than my previous pool. Easy to install well it was for my my son and partner set it up ;). Feels sturdy and well made. I’ve placed mine on some kids foam mats. It goes without saying it does need to be on a level surface, my patio has a slight slant to it and it does show but I only setup to test as the weather at the moment is rubbish. I’ve installed my larger bestway pump rather than the small one it came with, but that’s my preference. Super fast delivery and bargain of a price. If I had the room I’d most certainly have gone for a larger pool. Really happy and definitely some happy grandchildre
Really easy to assemble, remember you need to a flat smooth area to put it on, leveling tut ground to much longer than assembling the pool. We’ve had it to fit a month so far and seems solid and well made.
Spent ages looking at different pools and reading reviews so delighted and relieved that the one I chose is such good value. Easy to put together and great size. Grandchildren absolutely love it!!
Very easy to assemble. I gambled on our garden being flat enough for the pool, placed some foam mats underneath for protection and just about got away with it. Next year I will properly level it out.
The black cover does well to heat the top couple of inches but might have to get a heater.
Kids love it but only used a couple of times as the weather has been pants since we put it up
Comes with a filter which we put on for 2-3 hours each evening and works a treat (but not the black cover in the pic). Easy to put together. Only thing we found was that you have to have the floor level for plastic feet to stay on but when water is in the settle right in place. Make sure you have a good 70 or so little foam squares for under a 10ft pool for good measure and to keep it from the possibility of ripping (the material is thick and sturdy but just for comfort too). Also remember a chlorine floaty thing- put 3 tablets in there and then test water. Keep that in at night and take out in day. The kids love it but you may want a water heater- we don’t have one yet. Remember that 10ft is fairly big. Takes 6-7 hours to fully fill. Brilliant buy. We got it July 2023.
This is a great pool size and the depth is fantastic! We always had kiddie pool but the kids are now at a age where they love swimming under the water so the depth of the pool was important!
It took me just over 1 hour to assemble this on my own (if I waited for my husband it would of been quicker and easier however I just wanted to get it done to surprise the kids!).
We purchased a few extra items which I would say it is a must, a mat to sit under the step ladder inside the pool to help avoid damage, a mat (tarpaulin) to place under the pool, a skimmer to clean all the insects sitting above the water, and I would definitely advise to upgrade your pump, the one it came with is fine however you might have to keep on for longer and change the filter more often (thats my experience, we only used for 1 week until our upgraded sand filter pump from bestway arrived) .
The pool material seems very sturdy and we are hoping that it will last many summers .
I bought this pool for my kids, but I ended up using it more than they did. I filled it with custard to test the theory that you can run on it. Its true, but then I stopped and was up to my next in it, custard that is.
Then my wife invited her friends over and they wrestled in it, not really appropriate at a toddlers birthday party, but hey you only live once. and once it was cleaned it works really well as a pool.
Best summer purchase I have made! Deep enough for adults to swim in easily, can fit 8 teenagers comfortably including inflatables. Really sturdy, took about 3 days to fill (only filling during the day). Came with filter pump which is adequate and ladder which had a broken part – reported to Bestway and new part is on its way but hasn’t stopped use!
100% recommend this pool if you have kids 8 years + as the depth is perfect for “proper” swimming.
Only problem I’ve found is keeping the kids and the grownups out of i
Perfect kids love it, easy to assemble, takes a while to fill
Can go wrong with it. Better filter needed if lots of different bodies are going in all day everyday. Easy to set up I did most on my own. Can’t go wrong for the price n can’t wait to get it back up for summe
Found my fish pond had a serious leak, I had to remove all the fish to repair it. This pool was ideal as a temporary home for the twenty Koi Carp we have. Repair completed, transferred fish back, cleaned pool, thoroughly dried and with care managed to repack into original box!
Enough for all family. Grownups, kids. Perfect. Gona use for another year. Still like new.
It was easy to put together , pump works well, grandkids love it. Putting it awy it dismantles no problem and can be packed away easily.
All this for summer holidays. Easy to put together. Really sturdy kids jumping out in and out of it all the time. Only thing is I did have a problem with the pump and instead of being able to go through the seller I’ve had to go through the manufacturer which I’m not too happy about but it is the way it is. But other than that really really good pool really day brilliant for the really hot weathe
Undoubtedly the best buy by far regarding pools… and i went through (literally) 4 inflateables in total!!
It is big enough to accomodate a family of 5 of any size or shape very comfortably and if stored correctly it will be fully functional for the next season too. The experience of the pool is massively improved by adding a pool heater, a skimmer/filter system and the required pumps to keep it clean and hygenic for obvious reasons and from filling up a 2kw/h gets the temp to 30c in about 12 hrs. I also purchased a suitable cover to protect the pool from airborne debris (and pond beetles) and during peak summer temps and the heater accidently running for 48hrs :-O with the cover on I hit nearly 40c, which is too hot for my liking. The extras for the pool do add up but it is well worth it for the use it gets due to the comfort and size.
P.S, Silicone hose from car suppliers makes connections between heater and pumps a little closer and enables the average diy enthusiast to mount the heater and filter system to a wooden board for convenience of use.
This was such a good buy our girls were in it every day of the Summer. It’s big enough for 4 small children under 10. And enough for one adult to lay on a sun bed. Make sure you buy a cover to got with it as the water will get dirty.
You do need 2 people to help put it together and remember to put cleaning solution in daily. The only downside was there wasn’t any easy way of emptying it when we put it away.
The structure is plastic but it held up very well. Especially when we have a dog that chews everything.
Good size, instructions were useless only pictures! Took two of us to put together once up looks good and took about 6/7 hours to fill up
Fantastic large swimming pool great for a big family, nice and sturdy very quick to put together. Would recommend getting a ladder and a slide! So much fun for the family. Customer service was fantastic! Arrived in two days. Couldn’t ask for more. Great filter we did buy a cover too, little tip if putting it away after cleaned and dry put a bit of talc sprinkled over the pool to soak up any moister so when you get it back out it’s not mouldy. Although if you maintain chemicals can keep it up all year round! Can buy pool heaters or use hot tub heater but mind the electric bill right now! Great purchase! Great price we got it on offer cheapest price compared to other retailers.
about as easily as possible to make a pool of that size but can tell its cheap products and missing parts..
Altogether worth the little money it costs
Easy to do. I put it together alone. Took about 20 mins if that. Took 4 hours to fully fill… filter hasn’t worked from the second I turned it on though. That’s Gutti
After a prolonged delivery period which wasn’t a great start I have to say I am happy with this pool. It feels sturdy and has well designed with strong inlet and outlet points.
The drainage point is also well positioned low to the ground.
The colour is nice inside and out and being a cream grey I hope sun fade won’t look too extreme.
Setup can be done as a one person job though does take longer, naturally!
My only issue with the pool is that should you wish to add an intex heater (around 70) then you will need to change the filter to a more powerful one. A good strong filter to push through the heater really should be around 1000 litres per hour. This bought for 70ish.
You now have a new redundant small filter. Which could be sold on?!
You also need to consider the ground being a huge loss of heat. Simple foam pads will do but for a 10ft square cost me just under 100.
Back to the pool.
Overall the pool itself is what it is and I like it.
It’s 10ft round and 76cm high. So perfect for all ages to safely have fun (always under adult supervision).
If you do not wish to have a heater added then the filter it comes with will obviously suffice.
If you do then be prepared for initially 4 days constant running to obtain 35 degree C.
That’s around 40 running costs.
You will need to consider adding a solar cover (free heat), rain cover / temperature loss reducer, daily ph testing, weekly cleaning.
If you decide to go ahead with the pool with what ever setup you choose at least you can confident to know the pool itself is strong, well designed and can withstand a whirlpool generated by a 20 stone 6ft 3 male.
Happy deciding and have fun with your new pool if you go for it!
