I change my liner almost every two years as I find it easier to fit new than clean the old one, not being so strong these days. It just pops in , hooks on and off we go! Happy Fish!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to say I am thrilled with this pond liner. My old one decided to leak through the port hole and had turned white with age and I was desperate not to buy a complete new pond and so decided to get this replacement liner. I was nervous about the sizing as several had said it didn’t fit, however I soon realised there are different sizes and two types of half moon mocha ponds PLEASE NOTE this fits the pond with the black aluminium frame and not the rattan one.. mine was super quickly delivered, easy to fit (minutes) and fits perfectly very happy I decided to buy this .. just check your product as several different sizes and types.. 🙂
We bought the Affinity Mocha Half Moon pond 5 years ago. Recently noticed the port holes had become cloudy then suddenly one split leaking water everywhere. Luckily once the water level had gone below the split, it left enough water in pond until we got a new liner. At first we were unsure which one to get and I soon realised that I had ordered the ‘View’ liner instead of the Mocha. I was able to cancel the View and reorder the correct one. I was a little worried having read previous reviews as to if it would fit ok with the holes lining up with the existing hooks but pleasantly surprised that they did. There’s a sticker on one of the port holes which on a previous review had said that it was difficult to peel off and it pulls away a film. It looks like the film is meant to be peeled off anyway and is only on there for protection. It would have been nice to have instructions stating this. It’s great having the port holes as you can view the fish, they always gather at the window when they see someone but the draw back is they seem to perish over time especially in the sunlight. We were quite happy with the 5 years we had before we needed to replace the liner so will just look out for the tell tell signs (cloudiness) and hopefully it will give us another 5 years.
Perfect fit at a fraction of the cost from pond stockists. Just remember to remove the protective film from the windows AFTER fitting as this will prevent accidental scratches whilst fitting.
I liked this product because it was Easy to use I remove the old pond liner put the new pond liner in seconds
Fitted perfectly first time – only problem was a sticker put on the window that is hard to get off without damaging it.
Happy with the liner, not as sturdy as the original but ….. For some reason a label has been stuck to one of the windows on how to clean it but the label will NOT COME OFF …. Why are you using a glue that wont come off without scraping the window which you tell us NOT to do?
I was concerned as the price is well below garden centres selling these liners. However I was pleased when it arrived well packed in original blagdon packaging. There’s protective covering on each of the three windows which needs removing prior to installation. This is for the MOCHA HalfMoon pond. So don’t purchase for older rattan model, search for the proper liner for your model of affinity pond. (You slide the panels into a frame with a Mocha, whereas you bolt the weave panels together on the Rattan version. You’ll know the difference if you’ve assembled it yourself!). Good product, great price.
Great original item at a good price a life saver after my original liner window broke putting my fish in danger of running out of water.
Word of warning only fits the black mocha aluminium frame version NOT the old rattan one as I originally fell into trap ordering a rattan one. Amazon sorted me out in end though.
