I like Bosch products and this is a cracker. It cuts well and 4 sides of hedges later its still on full power.
ok it aint covent garden but i was still out over an hour cutting.
Really good bit of kit. The blades made light work of a very overgrown bush in the garden. Some of the branches were as thick as a medium sized broom handle and the Bosch hedge cutter got through it with relative ease. The battery is very good and gave me a good fifty minutes with some stubborn roots.

I bought this to replace a corded Bosch item that i had for over 10 years until some low life broke into my shed and stole it along with other gardening power tools… so when looking around i made the decision to try a cordless one although I was a little dubious as to how powerful and for how long this would run for with only a 2.5ah battery as being used to power tools (drills/saws etc) having 4 & 5ah batteries – but i was surprised… this easily dealt with everything i attacked with it – its also quite a bit lighter than the old corded one as well as a fair bit quieter too, The main handle is basically the same as the old one with the safety switch on 3 sides of it so you can easily hold the trimmer at different angles and still be able to squeeze the leaver in one hand while pressing the trigger with the other so this would be good for both left and right handed people.
Overall i’m really happy with it and would recommend it, however, Ive only had it for a week so I don’t know how long it will last for but if it lasts half as long as the last one i would be happy.

This newer DIY model has all the features of a professional model. The only issue I have with the Bosch Green range is that they don’t take the Bosch Blue batteries (which I have for my “work” tools). This can be overcome with a converter from a non-Bosch supplier but might affect the warranty.
Actually love this. Used to get a guy to cut hedges with my petrol cutter as it got way too heavy for me. , after buying this it’s very easy for me to use despite having bad shoulder. Cuts fantastic and so quick, the long blades make a very neat job. Absolutely love i
Very light in comparison to a petrol version. Used 2 or 3 times. No sign of the battery flattening. Cuts as well as a petrol strimmer without the arm ache.
So far so good, useful for medium height and thickened hedges
Great product! Not super lightweight but definitely light enough to make it very easy to maneuver for decent amounts of time and reach difficult angles.
Battery lasts a good while and is compatible with the one from other tools.
I have the strimmer, extended hedge trimmer and now this so can have batteries ready to go constantly.
Takes a while to do my hedges and this is superb tool for the job!
