We soon noticed that our old toys were coming back to life with all our children, yes, including those aged 13 and 15. It works great and it fits well. Besides the fact that you can make beautiful new creations, we noticed that our children suddenly became creative again with the duplo blocks for making a station, for example. But the wooden toys were also taken out of the closet and before we knew it we had a complete city in the living room. Bringing these two worlds together is a huge success!

These adapters are designed to connect Brio wooden train tracks with Duplo blocks, allowing children to create more complex and versatile train layouts. With 12 adapters included in the set, kids can connect different types of tracks and create more elaborate train configurations.
The adapters are made from high-quality materials, ensuring they are durable and long-lasting. They are also easy to use, simply snapping onto the tracks and blocks without the need for any tools or additional accessories.
For someone with a brio trainset this box of adapters will work nicely, allowing connection of tracks even in those situations where things get turned around and one has to reconcile two incompatible connectors. Our four year-old was certainly excited to receive them. They are very sturdy, being made of solid and reasonably dense plastic, so there’s little danger of anything snapping. However the lip below the connectors at each end does potentially make for some slightly lumpy track layouts and is not compatible with other pieces that may have their own lips. Given the price as well (although I received my set free as part of the Vine programme), these are probably mostly of interest to the serious collector.
Great idea, lots of fun with Lego duplo and train sets but think they are expensive as was 45 for 22 connectors and could do with more!
This is a set of well made connectors that can be used with Duplo, and compatible, train tracks. They do work really well. They are quite expensive but they do allow your kids to get a lot more play value from their toy trains.

At the moment ,there isn’t much use ,or better bit at all as we do not have the actual matching track to be able to actually use them.
However they do feel strong and sturdy,well made prices ,fit for the purpose.
Versatile ,they come in different shapes so that you can connect in multiple ways the train track.

These track connectors are super useful when playing with my toddlers wooden train track. Being able to use the duplo blocks and wooden track together means that we can get some really fun tracks built.
The set comes with 12 track connectors which I think is a good amount.
Even though I love this product I do feel that the current price of just under 30 is a little bit too expensive.
These are a set of 8 train track connectors. My boys have lots of ikea wooden train track and these are perfectly compatible with those.
The base underneath each connector is compatible with duplo lego. It doesn’t really work with standard lego pieces.
It’s a good accessory and allowed my kids to set up some really good elevated tracks.
The only thing to bear in mind is that all the pieces are black; the packing shows the pieces in different colours but that’s not the case. Other than that small misrepresentation this is quite a good construction add on for lego and train track fans.
These are very high quality connectors. It looks and feels sturdy. Allow you to click the tracks in place and is compatible with Lego and Duplo blocks as advertised.
The price is high but for the quality you get it is worth it if you want to jazz up the train set.
Very impressed with these connectors and think that they are a great idea. Both my children love duplo and brio tracks and were delighted that they managed to make some new combinations with the connectors. They are good quality and well made. Not sure that they are great value as really only just a set of connectors. Overall recommended if you can justify the price

This is a great toy for kids and adults alike. The wooden connectors make it easy for adults to build a track and the kids to play and create their own adventures. The track is easy to use, no screws or glue needed. I love how the toy is sustainable and easy to build. Being made out of wood, it is also easy to take apart and put away when the playtime is over.

These connectors are a great idea. My kids love both duplo and the brio tracks so they’ve managed to make some great combinations with the connectors. They are good quality and well made. The main issue is that 30 is too expensive in my opinion for a set of connectors. Overall recommended if you can justify the price.
These connectors are so good in the fact that they let you use other toys (Duplo) that you may have to aid building your train sets.
They work really well and connect to the wooden tracks really well.

This is for a set of train track connectors for brio and Lego duplo. They are really expensive for what they are but then the set that they connect to is expensive. My friend has the Lego duplo set and so she’s delighted with these connectors. They are the usual Lego high quality though but what a price.
This is a great idea in order to join a building set (duplo) to a role play set. This will help children use their higher thinking skills, sadly I can’t actually test it fully because I have given my duplo away to a local school.
I still have the brio and early learning centre alternative at home and the blocks fit on this. The duplo size is imprinted into my memory from years as mum, teacher and toy librarian and this will fit on top of the blocks.
This will enable you to create elevation to the track without the use of bridges.
This is the smallest set they do, depending on how much your children play with the trains, it would probably be better to buy a larger set, or try this one first and then upgrade (maybe do what I suggest below) for the larger set.
It could be something you ask grand parents to buy as a brithday present. The wooden tracks, trains, and these blocks could be passed down a family as adult children have children and then stored ready for grand children. These sorts of toys are expensive and never go out of fashion. By doing this you make the most of gifts given. Children do not need brand new toys, lesson learnt from being a Toy Librarian.
If you have several children all round the same age, you could also form your own family toy library and occasionally swap toys within the family, to give them new stuff to play with.
Ok so lets set the record straight i absolutely like these they are a great addition if you have lots of wooden train track and also have Duplo (which we do) anything that allows you to combine multiple playsets is definitely a good thing but….. Despite the good quality you dont get all that much and for what is nearly 30 thats a whole new wooden train set in my opinion.
So i guess what im saying is if you can easily afford these they are great and will alow your child to explore, experience and experiment with their train sets in ways they couldnt before and that in my opinion is a very good thing.
My little guy absolutely loves his trains and spends ages playing with his wooden train set, I’d tried to raise the tracks before as his set comes with blocks to do so but it just doesn’t work, the lack of these connectors are clearly the reason.
There’s 12 connectors included in the set and they are solid, they sit comfortably on top of the blocks and keep the wooden rails securely in place. Great addition to his train set, although I feel they are quite expensive.
Small kit, what it doesn’t say is that it is designed to build elevated sections.
The bases are raised, so no good for ground construction, this is designed to sit on top of Duplo bricks.
Tough if you prefer Lego of course.

This builder set for wooden train truck are good design although quality is just plastic .
Easy to use and so much fun my son loved it .
Came nicely pack and this would be a cute gift for those that already own a train truck.

My kids love to play with their baby trainsets. Still! What always go missing first is the track connector.
We are very happy to have several in this set now.

I’m very torn on these. On the one hand, they fit a really niche usage case and are compatible with two major Scandinavian toy brands. However, you get so little for the money (30 at the time of writing).
There are 8 small (1.9cm) track extenders with a Duplo compatible base, and 2 male-to-male and 2 female-to-female track connectors with the same base. The Duplo base allows you use Duplo blocks (or Lego if you prefer, they technically work with that too, see the end of the video for help with that) to raise your track.
The video shows you everything you need to know, from what’s in the packaging to a full demonstration with my kids’ Duplo and Brio sets. But what you need to ask yourself is: “Do I need these track connectors so much I’m willing to pay 30 for them?” If you do, these are good quality and fit together with both Brio and Duplo like a glove. But bear in mind – 12 track connecting pieces is what you’re paying for and that’s everything you’re going to get.
