It works well on hard floors. On thick carpets you may need to use the stronger vacuum setting which obviously reduces the battery time. Otherwise it’s a very good vacuum cleaner.
Brought this as I was tired of corded vacuum cleaners. It’s really easy to click the tools needed for the job into place, easy to go from downstairs to upstairs with cords. Lightweight and love the led screen
Overall, very happy!
I really love this product
BuTure Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, 400W/33Kpa Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Smart Touch Screen
I wish had found it before, it’s made my life so much easier for cleaning up.
Its really lightweight and easy to use too and so easy to charge the battery up too
Honestly it’s Superb I wouldn’t be without it now
I have laminate floors throughout my house and this works really well cleaning them with the brush attachment. The tools are great for the harder to reach places, the suction power is amazing for a cordless vaccuum. Battery life is good, it generally lasts a week, full power does drain it appreciably quicker though, but I don’t use full power that often, the normal setting does a good enough job. Can’t fault it in any way and I’m really please I bought one 🙂
This is my first cordless vacuum and its great! Really lovely to use. A few improvement would be to allow the vacuum to stand & lock upright by itself which I feel is essential, the soft attachment should be improved to better be able to clean skirting etc as the long bristles just don’t work, and great battery life so far, very happy with my purchase considering the price, it was affordable and does the job well. Great suction power options too!
A real handy one with a light at the front, so we can easily see if the corners or under the sofa is clean. One thing to note us that the battery dies out after 25 minutes if we use it in full power mode
Light weight, with powerful suction even on lowest setting. I was impresed by the quality of the product and the packaging with Quick Instruction on box lid.
Having used the vacuum for a short time now on both hard and soft surfaces. I have found generally suction levels 1 or 2 are ample. Which has obviously advantages in battery life. so have not run out of power when using the VC40 around the home.
I have noticed the manual shows an optional accessory Bed Brush, but I have only found this accessory available through US Amazon, with no UK supplier, this is something I would consider buying in the future if available in UK (i.e AmazonUK).
Bought on impulse because we have a three storey cottage and the upright hoover was heavy and unwieldy to move between floors and to hoover the stairs.
We bought the Buture based on price and reviews and we are very happy with the product. Lightweight. Easy to operate. Very good on hard floors. Needs the higher suction setting for carpets which works great.
Overall very happy with ease of use, performance and value for money.
Very happy with the lightness and flexible options with this item. Adjustable height is an excellent idea and changing attachments is much easier than on my last cleaner. Also like how quick and easy it is to empty. All round good value.
Been looking at lots of hoovers as need something that works well. Bought this based off others reviews and I am very impressed. The hoover is very easy to use and take apart to clean aswell and I love the light built in as helps me see more dust on the hardwood floors
I’ve purchased a couple of different vacuums recently trying to find a compact and portable unit with decent accessories but also decent suction.
The last point I’ve struggled with. This is the first vacuum which doesn’t cost a fortune but has decent suction.
The vacuum is perfect for give the house a quick go over. It’s not going to replace my mains hoover but this is great to quickly go over the carpets.
Battery is ok, depleted very quickly in full power but over found medium power is fine. That helps the battery life.
Accessories are good and the wall mount is good too. Only issue is that it’s a cable into the side of the battery so you can’t just lift the vacuum out of the holder. You need to unplug the power cable first. A small thing but a built in power connector to the base would be better
Overall I’m happy with this unit, does what I need it too and as long as you don’t expect the power of a mains unit or to do the whole house on full power, you’ll be fine.
Got this to replace a G Tech carpet sweeper type model, this does seem very good quality and well made, not cheap or flimsy, I fully charged the battery which takes a while but on the high setting you can literally see the battery running down, the battery on my G Tech lasted for ages, I was lucky if I got 20 minutes with this gadget, not overly impressed with that but it does does seem to vacuum very well, shame about the battery life
Good quality, easy to take apart, tools are decent, easy to charge, good suction. Photo doesn’t include wall hanging bracket (still in box, never use them). Customer service from Buture is excellent, I enquired about a small turbo brush which Amazon list as part of the accessories, it no longer comes with the VC40, they were very helpful about this and quick to answer my email.
Very good quality vacuum cleaner and an extending pipe, very rare these days. Nice manual included and a cleaning tool.
There’s many cordless vacuums to choose from, it’s a minefield… I based my purchase for this one on the suction power as it was amongst the higher wattage, as I have a dog and messy teens in the house.
I like that it has 3 variable suction modes for different floors. And the battery percentage left is shown on screen. Obviously the higher the suction power the quicker the battery life will reduce. I got a spare filter which is also a bonus so when one is washed and drying you can still use the hoover.
I rated 4 stars because I would’ve liked a spare battery, I live in a 3 bed house, and like I said a dog and messy teens, not forgetting the oldest man is just as messy sometimes, so I reckon the battery life will reduce quicker, so a spare battery to change would’ve been useful. Hopefully if I do more searching a spare can be purchased separately.
So far, so good.
This was a bit of an impulse buy as I was bored of vacuuming the stairs with a big upright vacuum cleaner. Now I vacuum the whole house with this! It’s so quick and easy to clean with you’ll end up cleaning every day, sometimes multiple times!
This really excels at tight spaces and hard floors. It does have enough power to clean carpets but its best on high-power mode which chews through battery quite quick. Even on high power the upright vacuum is better for carpet. However, hard floors there is no beating it! I thought the lights of the roller head were going to be a gimmick, however, they’re really useful for darker areas of the house as they highlight areas which have/have not been cleaned! It came with all the attachments and the roller heads are easily disassembled for cleaning. The big roller head is particularly good as it doesn’t seem to get any long hairs wrapped around it unlike pretty much every other vacuum I’ve used.
The battery life is very impressive and will easily clean a whole average house on low power with battery left over. The only thing I wish it had was automatic charging when put into the dock. This does come with a wall mount but you have to put the cable directly into the battery on the vacuum. However, the plus side of this is, as the battery is removable, you could have a spare battery on charge all the time you’re cleaning. Additionally, as the battery is so big, it can take a while to charge up. Not a huge issues though as unless you hoover all day, every day, it’ll be fine for your needs.
Overall, I am really pleased with my purchase, this vacuum is super useful for most cleaning day-to-day and it comes at a great price. A family member saw the vacuum after I purchased it and went out and bought themselves one too! That’s a good testament I think.
We love this item. It does the job well on carpets and hard floors with a good, non-scratch brush head. The extending wand is useful and one of best things about it is the crevice/edge accessory which reaches those carpet edges and spiders webs with equal ease. It is nice and quiet and is a real doddle to empty and clean. The metal filter does not get static which means that most of the dust goes into the bin.
Not as high on suction as higher end equivalents, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and easy to use daily use vacuum.
The only downside is that the attachments are a bit stiff to get on and off.
I loved the weight of this. So lightweight and easy to use and is a breeze on hard floors. The different levels of suction are good, so if you have stubborn hair or threads on carpets you can get them to lift up a little better. I liked the bagless dust canister that you can easily empty. The battery life doesn’t quite last for a four bed house, but I just do the main traffic rooms and do a couple of bedrooms later in the day when it has recharged. After having a really heavy well known upright hoover, which weighed a ton and was heavy to lift up and down the stairs , I am enjoying the ease of use with this one. It’s easier to just whip it out and do a quick hoover and then put it back on the charging bracket and plug it in. Overall, pretty happy with it!
Device is realy good quality made but after the first minute of use, the vacuum cleaner lost power and shows that the dust container is full, there was almost no dust inside. After removing a small amount of dust, the problem persists. After 10 minutes I tried again and the problem appeared after less than a minute. I found another problem with return, naimly, this device contains the battery what is prohibited to send by post and I’m from Ireland, so I contacted Amazon customer service and they found the best solution for me and I really appreciate that.
UPDATE:
I’ve been contacted by BuTure customer care and they were very pleasant and they did everything to make me satisfied.
Obviously, it was unexpected device fault.
Customer care 5*
It was time for a new vacuum cleaner so I asked friends what they recommended as I was thinking about getting a shark. My cousin’s wife said she had this Buture model and she really liked it. I read the reviews and I always read the 1 and 2 star reviews first. Then I read the 4 and 5 star ones and weigh it all up; I decided to go for this machine. So far it has been great. I have a Jack Russell/beagle who are notorious for shedding hair and it’s no exaggeration. This model seems to deal with it quite well. I have suggested they make a specialised head for the model and they are considering it. Despite that, this machine picks up the hairs quite well although I sometimes have to put it on full power when the hairs are particularly difficult to pick up. The rest of the bits and pieces on the carpet, this machine picks up very well. It has a larger cup for dirt collection so doesn’t need to be emptied as often, although I do empty it after each use. It comes with quite a few tools and you can buy extra batteries if you so wish. I like the fact the battery comes off the cleaner so can be recharged anywhere. Some people have mentioned that it doesn’t stand up on its own but that’s the same with any stick vacuum cleaner. All in all, I’m glad I went for this machine.
After doing my research for quite a while I have decided to buy the BUTURE cordless vacuum. I must say I was highly influenced by the video I found on Amazon and the reviews given for this product.
I wouldn’t say I am disappointed but my expectation were probably too high. However, after using it for 2 weeks now, almost on an everyday basis (I have a mild OCD) I decided not to return it. I kinda fell in love with it. It is really lightweight, perfect for the downstairs area, kitchen, dining room, corridor. I wouldn’t recommend it in a big house with lots of carpet. I have my Shark for that 😀 but it is definitely good value for money compared to other big brands. It does the job well.
The first impression was very good. I was gladly surprised about the suction power of the vaccum cleaner. However this comes at a cost. Even though for a small 1 bed apartment its more than sufficient, if you were to clean multiple rooms or floors of a house or big apartment the battery life might not be enough. It has 3 different power settings that you can change easily giving you flexibility in terms of battery life (and for most jobs) the lower power setting will be enough. But the moment you switch to the maximum power lever, battery goes in a couple of minutes.
Overall a pretty good vaccum cleaner in terms of value for money, with loads of excellent accessories and a least than idea battery life.
## Update##
I contacted BuTure directly as it was over a month since I purchased the hoover. They responded immediately and they consider the hoover must be faulty and have offered a full refund. Fantastic customer service and hence why I’m changing the rating.
I have waited a few weeks to review as wanted to give a review that accurately reflected the hoover. I purchased the hoover on the strength of the Amazon reviews, but unfortunately they do not reflect the experience I have had.
Firstly, I found that I kept getting blockages, so had to check it after every use. Now I just avoid using it to vacuum up anything bigger than dog hairs.
Secondly, the suction power is poor. On the lowest level when hoovering hard floors, I find myself going over the same spot to collect all of the hairs, so have to use the level 2 suction, then move onto level 3. I also find the suction power decreases as the battery charge decreases. Once the power level get to 20%, it switches itself off and needs to be charged. The hoover is not powerful enough for carpets, so I use a corded vacum instead.
I really wanted to like this hoover, but unfortunately it has not lived up to the reviews and if I could return I would.
Very good cleaner so far. I have only had it for 2 weeks but so far it works really well and the head is more easily manouverable than my previous Dyson. I also like that you only need one head for all surfaces. My only dislike is the charging system whereby you have to remove the cord everytime you take it off the dock. Would have been useful to have it like Dyson whereby you slot in and out and charges rather than having to attach/remove the charger into the dock each time. Otherwise very good so far and a fraction of the price of Dyso
Positives. Very easy to assemble, has lots of tools for different cleaning jobs. Great suction power and easy to control it. Love the digital touch screen that you can use to increase the suction as well as seeing how much battery life you have left. I can hoover whole house, 3 bed, large conservatory, living room, kitchen and two bathroom areas, and still have battery life, if using just the lower power settings. If you Increase the suction settings then you may lose out on a room or 2. Battery charging is just a 2nto 3 hours to fully charge.
Negatives.. trigger button very sensitive and will turn on or off at the slightest touch, so keep fingers away from the trigger and you will have no problem of it turning on or off.
We have had many more expensive brands which have not lived up to their reputation. This has been a great but – battery lasts a long while, suction is good and my wife finds it light enough to do the whole house.
Overall this is a good cordless vac, but we have a fluffy dog and this hover popped up in quite few top 10 lists for pet hair. But the normal attachment doesn’t always pick up our digs hair even going over it a few times. If i use the smaller attachment for bedding/mites it works so much better on getting the hair up. They need like a combination attachment of these two brush nozzles, if dont have one already, for longer pet hair and probably be perfec
I’d never heard of this brand before but, took a gamble & it paid off…
A great vacuum with enough battery power & good suction to clean all the rooms in my house, whether it’s carpeted or tiled. The vacuums light weight is ideal for stairs, places high up & in the car. This Vacuum is very simple to use & recharge.
i got this to replace my broken old vacuum cleaner. Brough it becoz the nice review on the product. It said it is lightweight and have a decent suction power. So, i give it a try.
No doubt. This little machine have great suction power and it is enough for my daily use on switch to middle power level. I got decent battery life and charge only every 2 or 3 days for daily use.
Environment- small 2 bedroom house, dog owner, wooden floors
Excellent hoover to whiz around the house with. It picks up all the dog hairs and the little light is just an added bonus. I wanted a hoover that provides the same function as a top branded hoover but didn’t want to pay that price – and I got it.
Added bonus – I left a review on their company website and was sent a direct personal email. Based on this , makes me believe that their costumer servicing is also high quality.
Short comings – the battery life does not last. I can clean my house in 1hr and 30 ( hoovering, polishing etc )mins with the percentage starting at 100 to 24 percent.
If you are wanting a deep clean and with carpet this maybe challenging as you have to press the function button which takes more battery life. Nevertheless, the charging is quick.
Regardless of the short coming overall – a brilliant hoover.
Smart looking cordless hoover and very lightweight. However, the suction is absolutely terrible on carpet, even on the highest setting!! Holding hoover on abit of fluff on carpet and still didn’t suck it up!! The digital display is good and you can see when battery is about to run out ehich will be fairly quick as you need to keep going over the same section on carpets time and time again to get any result. Okay on hard floors only.
Extremely good customer service, very apologetic about the fault and are working on fixing the problem
I purchased this Vacuum cleaner because it had very good reviews on Amazon. I have always had Dyson products previously, but the batteries never last long enough and you cant just clip in a charged one. The BuTure cleaner on the other hand is amazing! Its much better than I expected, everything feels sturdy and good quality, the suction is brilliant, the battery lasts for ages and when it runs out, you just clip in a charged one and keep going! It also has rubber wheels on the brush head which makes it really easy to use. My experience so far is that it is much better than my previous Dyson battery Vacuum! A very pleasant surprise!
We’ve been using this vacuum cleaner for just over a week now and so far it works as described on the product description. We were looking for a lightweight vacuum cleaner that could allow us to clean even as we hold a baby (we have a toddler in the house). We use the vacuum cleaner to tidy our wooden floors and 2 carpets and so far no complaints. The noise level is not too high to wake our toddler and the suction power ensures all dust is collected. We will post an update after a couple more weeks of use but at this time I can recommend the product.
Excellent cordless Vacuum cleaner – lightweight but powerful suction (different settings) – the lowest power gives you the longest battery life and is great for hard wood or lino floors – picks up crumbs and cat litter with ease. For carpet floors you need ti increase the power to max to pick up fluff and debris but it works well – the illuminated roller cleaner attachment is great for getting under furniture and you can see what you are doing! We purchased it mostly for doing our stairs and kitchen (hard-wood floor) where most of our mess accumulates – does this with ease and we have it attached to a wall in the corner next to the plug socket so it is always charged and ready to use. Obviously not as powerful as our dyson but it does exactly what we want and is always at hand to clean up. A little more pricey than some available but it is one of the more powerful and we appreciated that. Spare batteries are also available which adds to its value as our last stick cleaner’s battery died and we were not able to replace it so had to get rid of an otherwise good cleaner.
After using a different brand of vacuum for a few years, I was searching for a lightweight yet powerful model with a long-lasting battery. To my surprise, my 8-year-old child was able to assemble and demonstrate its use, indicating its user-friendly design. Overall, my initial impressions of the vacuum are positive. The vacuum is notably lightweight, powerful, and has a modern appearance with LED lights. Additionally, the vacuum is reasonably priced.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks to note. While the power button does not need to be held down to operate, its placement may result in accidental stops. Furthermore, while a stand is included, the battery must be manually plugged in to charge.
Positive:
– Lightweight
– Powerful
– Modern looking
– LED lights
– Good price
– Big battery
Negatives:
– Power button location, accidental stops
– You will get a stand with it, but to charge the battery it, you have to plug the cable in to battery manually.
All these negatives are only minor for me, but for others could be important.
Overall happy with the purchase.
So far loving this vacuum. Amazingly well packed if you hate waste packaging (which I do). I could put everything together without even looking at the instructions. Very intuitive to use. Like the different choices of power and the fact you can remove battery for charging. The light on the front of the main accessory is very handy for pin-pointing dust and fluff under furniture and so easy to use on the stairs. Only one slight problem with my unit which is the stair accessory does not quite click into place but this does not affect the use of the accessory or the vacuum. All in all a good product at a great price.
Wow! Fantastic!
We’ve always had corded vacuums in the past and when our Dyson finally packed up we weren’t at all sure about getting a cordless replacement as we were not sure it would be powerful enough. However, my son has just bought one and so we borrowed it to try. Fantastic! We went straight out and bought the same model and it arrived the next day. Assembly was really easy taking about 10 minutes. Even fitting the bracket to the kitchen wall was dead easy also. The whole vacuum sits neatly on the bracket which we have fixed near to the electrical socket.
I couldn’t wait to try it as I saw that the battery had quite a lot of charge already. I managed to vacuum the whole of our 4 bedroomed house upstairs and down in 10 minutes. This task would normally take at least twice as long as I would have to unplug and plug in again 4 times — no more!
The power is amazing — I was a bit embarrassed at the amount of dirt and dust it picked up on the first use!
Great value for money — thoroughly recommended
I have got, and used a cordless vacuum before, but found it rather heavy, so when I saw this new lighter weight ‘BuTure’ model, I wanted to give it a try, and it is marvelous. So much easier to move around, due to the lightweight feel, and a really powerful suction too.
We have a fluffy cat, and even at this time of year she seems to moult; and I’m not much better with my long hair which seems to get everywhere; so I need a good powerful suction, and this is what I have here.
Each piece of the cleaner clicks together with ease; but then when I want to use it as a handheld device, I just press a button to remove the top part, and attach any one of the assorted heads for stairs, and those awkward to reach places; my partner has also used it in the car.
What I find so good though is that when it is in upright mode, it is just so easy to move around, with it swivel moving head ensuring I can get around the furniture.
To charge I can either plug the vacuum directly into the mains, or remove the battery unit and charge separately. The charge seem to take a couple of hours, but then I have enough power to clean the whole house, at least twice. I currently have it standing in a corner of a room, but it does have a wall attachment which we may use; one near a mains point would be useful for charging, I thought. The LED screen above the battery and tank shows the amount of power left; below this we have the touch button settings, three power settings. The higher setting being very useful for the heavy footfall areas, and the areas covered in fine fur, and hair. The waste tank is simple remove with one click, another button opens the bottom of the tank then empties it directly into the bin. Like other vacuums, if you accidently suck up, and block the suction when cleaning, the vacuum automatically switched off; and the offending sock, in my case, was extracted without any problems.
I have now been using the cordless vacuum for the last few weeks, almost everyday and I’m so pleased with this lightweight, but powerful vacuum. It’s a great price, and makes cleaning so much easier; so would certainly recommend; I’m delighted with my purchase.
I bought this for my wife as our current vacuum us heavy to carry upstairs. The first thing to notice is how well its packaged up. Everything in polystyrene and solid, but very easy to unpack. Next the lightness. Its ridiculously light. You can easy carry it and push it around and my wife had no problem carrying it upstairs. It has lights on the front , really bright, and is so simple to fit under furniture. How powerful is it ? It has 3 power settings and in the top setting gives very powerful suction. I wanted to show this in a video but I was only allowed to upload 1 per review. The dust box is a good size and it has a party trick where the main pipe can be lengthened or shortened at the flick of a button depending on what you are using it for. You get loads of accessories. Simply remove the main pipe and add in curtain cleaner, a crevice tool or a staircase cleaning tool. All easy to attach. Finally it comes with a holder that can be screwed to the wall to hold the whole vacuum. It came charged to about 80% and it easy did the whole downstairs of the house and a room upstairs and thst was me really putting it through its paces on full suction. On suction 1 it would easily do the whole house. Overall for the price this is an excellent vacuum and one I definately recommend.
I bought a lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner about 18 months ago for quickly cleaning our wooden floors and for other uses such as cleaning the inside of the car and for vacuuming in awkward places such as high up and under the bed. It was great for this, but I found it under-powered and the battery didn’t last very long. So I looked around for a more powerful version on Amazon.
There’s plenty to choose from, the well known names are good, but expensive for occasional use. I still use our corded cleaner for thorough cleaning as it has a powerful motor and works better on our rugs. I settled on this one as it promised a motor with twice the power of my old cordless and three power settings, as well as a bigger battery.
So far I’ve been impressed. The suction is much better than my old cordless and it does a good job on rugs which means my corded vacuum loses some of its benefits. It has a number of useful attachments and a wall bracket (see picture) that also holds a couple of the attachments. It is really easy to swap these tools on and off the cleaner with a simple button press. The telescopic tube is very smooth and has a number of stops on it so you can get the length that suits. All the attachments work well for their intended purpose.
The battery is detachable, but I find it useful to leave it on and plug it in for recharging when it’s on its wall bracket. It’s a bit awkward to do that as the charger still plugs into the battery rather than the bracket, so you have to remember to unplug it when you take it off the bracket for use.
One thing I really like is that it is very easy to empty with one press of a button to release the dust box (see video). The main cleaning head moves very smoothly in all directions when cleaning the floor and it has a couple of large wheels that rotate nicely. One price you pay for that flexibility is that it does not stand up freely on its own (unless you balance it carefully. This is because it it intended to be hung from its bracket while not in use (see photo), but it takes a bit of getting used to whilst cleaning as you have to lay it down if you let go.
The display on top is a great feature as it shows the amount of charge left in the battery, which is much better than my last one which just had three LEDs. They are not really enough to indicate when you are going to run out of charge. The cleaner is well made, solid and not too heavy.
In summary, this is a great value cleaner that is powerful enough to consider replacing your corded cleaner especially if you have mainly hard floors to clean.
There’s no doubt about it that there are a lot of handheld vacuum cleaners on the market. Some are considerably more expensive and some just don’t stand up well to normal use.
The BuTure VC40 boasts 400 watts of power and 33Kpa of suction in its maximum power mode, it also has a running time of about 50 minutes and all the while still being light enough to be handheld.
Now let’s be real, this isn’t going to be as powerful as a full size vacuum cleaner but it is powerful enough to clean up pretty much all dust and debris around the house. Not to mention that you don’t need to worry about a cord so you can easily vacuum the car outside or places where having a cord is inconvenient.
The vacuum comes well packaged with plenty of accessories to use, which includes three brushes, a narrow nozzle and a spare filter, so you’re getting your money’s worth. You can get up to 3 years warranty on this vacuum if you register.
One thing I like in particular about this dust cap design is that it’s not a twist locking system but rather a slot on locking system. I had an old handheld vacuum that had a twist on locking system and that quickly broke so compared to that this semms a lot more sturdier.
I like using the mini cleaning brush as it has a roller and scraper so you can really clean those carpet or bed surfaces. The large brush also has a convenient LED light so that you can see into dark areas.
The trigger toggle switch is great as well as the three speed toggle on the display and being able to charge the battery both attached and detached from the vacuum. I don’t know about you but I’m quite fond of these handheld designs as I don’t mind “playing tactical reloads” with this vacuum cleaner.
All in all there are a lot of good things about this vacuum cleaner. I would recommend it if you do want something powerful and value for money.
