CAMECHO Single Din Car Stereo Apple Carplay Android Auto 5

Ordered as a gift for a lady who has been happy since. It’s well made and fits easily into her 10 year old car. The main function works well, and the sound quality is good enough. It connects to mobile phone easily and remember use the mirror function. The microphone is not great but OK for purpose.

The reversing camera not tested yet but it seems not difficult to connect. Overall a quality kit and just need time to take full advantage of its functions.

So impressed with this stereo I have been using it for 4 weeks now every day and I am so pleased I bought it.
My husband easily fitted it (he knows what his doing when it comes to cars and electrics)
we have been used to having new cars with smart stereos, we have now purchased a older Z4 BMW and I hated going back to a standard stereo, looked about for ages for a single din smart radio and was reluctant to buy this one as thought it would be rubbish as only 88, couldn’t have been more wrong, it’s perfect, super price and exceeded my expectations.
The instructions for operation is rather limited so that’s taken a bit of experimenting to figure it out, (I couldn’t figure out how to make a hands free call, but you just press and hold the menu button on the bottom left of the screen, that then prompt siri and then you can say, call ???? and it will call them, would have been handy to have this in the instructions somewhere)
I love how easy it is to use, I can have my texts and whats apps, read out loud and can reply by my voice which is great.
Love the fact I can easily listen to my Amazon music or listen to the radio on Global player app or on the radio part of the stereo. I prefer to listen via global player as I cannot get Capital tuned in as we are out the the FM area where we live for that station but I can easily get it via Global player.
I use Waze, apple maps or google maps and they all work super on here.
I love the fact it also shows my calendar for the day if I have it on the multi screen, or you can tap one of them items its showing and it fills the screen with that item, ie maps or what your listening to.
I didn’t like the look of the cheap square camera it came with, so I bought a better looking one for 20 which looks more like the ones that our new Ford cars come with and my husband fitted it to this radio with no issues.
I love that you can change the colour of the dials that are lit up, I selected red as that’s the colour of all the other dash lights in my car.
It was hard to do a video of the stereo on my phone because as soon as I plug my mobile in it stops the phone recording, but I have attached a video that’s hopefully helpful )until I plug my phone it and it stops )

We did have to buy a new wiring loom to connect into this stereo but that was easy enough to buy and clip in and saved having to solder or join anything
