I am very pleased with my new machine that replaced my old 11yr one ,found the controls so different but my daughter put me right with them and now it’s all systems go…VERY PLEASED WITH IT
It says on the packaging that it weighs in a 650kg… Somehow I don’t think that’s quite right, but if you are managing it on your own, it certainly feels like it. I was sure I had read somewhere that concrete blocks in the bottom to weigh the washing machine down to stop it from hopping around the kitchen floor when in spin cycle, was a thing of the past. Apparently not. If your delivery driver is quite happy to leave it on the footpath and make a hasty getaway, don’t let him. Mine did, and I only found out why when I tried to get it inside on my own. Not recommended. The user manual is laid out ass-backwards. The ridiculous program cycle symbols are explained on the very last page, instead of being somewhere useful, like at the beginning. All in all, it’s an improvement over my twenty-year-old Bosch, but I’m not as pleased as I would like to have been.

It’s a great looking machine, still getting to know the dial and different cycles, haven’t used the smart touch screen on my phone yet, large drum, so yes would recommend
I preferred the settings on my old candy washing machine but due to a incident I needed a new one fast have now found best settings great size washes well and thanks to payment plan made it affordable for myself quick delivery too
Only had this a week and its working good . Hope it lasts longer than our last washing machine that gave up after less than 3 years ( not a candy machine) looks great and modern a little bit on the noisy side but for the price it’s OK. As with all washing machines the test is performance and durability, so far performance is good . Will update after 12/18 months.
Love it easy to use large enough for a family of 5 loving the smart features and creating own cycle to suit needs and quick 14min cycle when in a hurry

Had a few months now, great machine for the money, quick wash setting and nice big drum, easy to use. Love it.
No problems with this machine. love it fairly quite compared to my last one. Getting used to the controls read instructions then its even easier.
Only thing I don’t like about this is if you try to use the app it only tells you what settings you need to use instead of actually sending the wash to the machine like the dryer does
I have only used tbe short ecenomy wash so far but very happy with how clean my clothees have come out and also the washing is spun so well it has dried on tne line quite quickly.
The only possible issue is the door handle is plastic so not sure how robust it will be.

The manual does not state this anywhere I can see, but would be good to know: when the cycle has ended, the panel shows a code of “56Y” or “S6Y”I thought it was an error code and was pulling out my hair, but after googling, it actually stands for “Standby” and this code will always show when the cycle has ended and you have not yet turned machine off. Would have been good to know!!
Also worth noting – there was a fairly big dent in the front when it arrived – the guys pointed it out to me. I personally don’t mind too much, but you might.
But not at all happy with the warranty registration process, which involves third-party insurance company Domestic & General – who have the most atrocious online reviews.
The extended 10-year warranty offered FOC is for parts only, excluding the “card” – which is the master circuit board. Does that mean this expensive component is prone to failure and has an inherent flaw known to the manufacturer?
After registration, I was bombarded with pressure sales calls trying to upgrade me to full parts and labour guarantee – cost 145!
Extended warranties are well-known to be a consumer rip-off, so are Candy looking after their customers’ best interests by involving a data-harvesting insurance company?
Consumers have statutory rights, which apply well beyond the first 12 months on electrical goods costing several hundred pounds. If the “card” – or any other costly component – on my washer should fail prematurely, I’ll be off to the small claims court without further ado. And I’d advise others to do likewise.
Shame on you, Candy. I registered my warranty at service.candy-domestic.co.uk, not with Domestic & General.
After several pressure sales calls, I deregistered and had my personal details removed under data protection legislation.
Wouldn’t recommend bothering with the utterly pointless App either. Waste of time, and another component to go wrong.
I have tried out several of the programs and found them all fine and as they say in the book. I would recomend you read the instruction book, the selection of programs requires a little study. I have not yet attemped to conect my smart phone, I don’t feel smart enought, But my daughter is coming to show me. I have to say I am very happy with the machine and it performs as expected, I can’t say any thing about it’s noise, for the reasions I have given. I will point out I live a lone so no deeply soiled cloathes, but all the washing I have done is perfect. So I have to say I am very pleased with it. One point, there is a bit that is meant to go on the bottom of the machine, but the instalers didn’t put it on, and because of the comucation problems I have no idea why. It seemed to be a black sheet of material and go’s on the underside of the machine, I think I should have asked amazon, they are always so good about things, but I didn’t Ho Hum.
First off I thought the service superb, the extra cost for removal of the old machine and fitting of the new one well worth it, and I found the fitters professional, polite and efficient, with the whole process complete in less than an hour.
We have had the machine now for around two months with it doing an average of two loads a day having no issues at all. The controls are simple and instructions easy to follow. The machine in my opinion is quite noisy but we have been more than happy with its washing performance.
Overall a lower end budget machine which does a good job of washing, it is on the noisy side, and has an energy class of E which means it will cost more to run and not as good for the environment as a better rated machine. I found the fitting and removal service superb and would recommend this machine if you are budget limited as was our case.
