The radio has good audio quality and the touchscreen is good. Installation was easy for me but I can see some people having issues with it, as I had to splice wires together with an aftermarket connector. One problem I have with it is that it resets itself whenever the ignition is turned off. I have made sure the battery wire (yellow) is installed correctly but the problem keeps happening. It doesn’t bother me too much because I don’t bother saving radio stations.
The unit looks good initially but it’s quite complicated to install for the average guy as the connector isn’t standard ISO. I had to order a separate converter lead to connect to my car. If you can do that then OK
Brought this for my daughters car, as it can be used with her apple phone, it mirrors her phone. So she’s happy with it. Screen slides in and out smoothly .
This is an absolutely fantastic system. I’m so shocked at how affordable it is. Installing was no different to a basic car radio. We now finally have CarPlay in our motorhome!
It’s not a bad unit for the price & although the display isn’t quite 100% it is ok for the job I wanted it to do which was to put Apple CarPlay inc SatNav & hands free into a little Summer Convertible.
The unit itself is great as is the customer service Hodozzy provides. This is why it deserves four stars. I have taken a star off because the steering wheel controls don’t work when it’s attached to the steering wheel. The only way to make it work is to take the remote off the steering wheel and point it directly at the unit! This was one of the features that sold it to me and unfortunately I can’t even use it. Still the rest of the unit is good and it deserves 4 stars.
However I decided to buy it and see for myself. Took just over an hour to install, most of that was figuring out the original wiring colours of my VW to link it to the universal colours on the headunit.
It then took me around a further 2 hours to install the camera, most of this was spent removing trim and tracing the reverse cable but got there eventually.
The apple car play is excellent, I love the apple maps and being able to access them on a bigger screen is great. Youtube music, spotify, wifi radio and whatapp all work as they do in my wifes 2022 kia soul.
I’m very happy with the quality and functionality of the unit. It came with not 1 but 2 remote controls, one attaches to the steering wheel which gives steering controls which I must have missed on the description so that was a bonus.
Couple of negatives only minor or things that could make it just a little better. The unit itself especially when closed looks a little plain/naff. You can change the display to show the clock but it changes back to the input after a few seconds, would be nice to be able to leave the clock on.
Would be nice if the screen popped up electronically, its not the smoothest of slides so I just tend to keep it open.
Overall a very positive review and a great upgrade from my more expensive pioneer fm radio and a fraction of the cost of competitors with apple car play.

I Installed this unit today, and although I’ve not had it for long I’d like to report good things so far.
The radio does not have iso connection tors but wiring colours match those for the iso connectors so wiring it up was simple (although I did stand a few minutes just checking supplies etc). The radio itself is performing very well, the fm radio has no issues, and the CarPlay works exactly as I hoped.
The screen is manual but I’m happy with that as 90% of the time the screen will be away and I’ll just be using FM.
Really can’t find anything to complain about so far So I see this radio as a bit of a bargain.thanks.
After many of messages back and forth with the company and explaining to them multiple times that I’d like a replacement they have decided to process a full refund for me. I cannot complain with how good the customer service is but unfortunately the product isn’t what we expected!
Had a few problems with the unit but the seller was very helpful and agreed to replace it. Will leave a full rdd EDF view once I have had a chance to test it out thoroughly. Would recommend seller as they are responsive and helpful.
(After a considerable amount of contact from the company, apologising for the slow response and offering a full refund plus a free replacement I have decided to increase the star rating. The caring attitude and concern is second to non, in my case.)
This product comes without any manual. The photo of the device is deceiving to the customer as in my eyes I believe it to be preloaded with Android Apps, it isn’t. This device is totally dependent upon linking to your mobile, and that is if your mobile is compatible! It is a shame that as a purchasing customer I have had to find out the hard way, after my purchase and after accommodating the wiring for my car. The reverse camera seems to be purposely for this device as I tried another one and it did not work. Its actually a nice looking radio when installed, but thats all it is, a radio unless your mobile phone uses the iCar app.
