I kept this product because it’s keeping my makeup products at a cool temperature but it could definitely be colder. If your looking to store drinks or food, I wouldn’t recommend. It is also a little loud in my opinion so I wouldn’t recommend this one for a bedroom setting. The handle is a great addition making it easy to carry around.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought one of these units a while back for my office Great unit to keep by the desk, if you want to grab a soft drink without interrupting work.

I bought another one for the garage/workshop. Here is the caveat for those of you who live in warm environments, like here in Florida. Once the temp gets past about 80-85 degrees in a closed space (un-airconditioned), forget about having truly cold drinks that you can drink from the can. You will always need a cup of ice. A closed garage in the Southeast most likely always gets to 80 degrees + in the summer and well into the fall.

Certainly not saying it’s a bad unit, but make sure you know beforehand where you will use it. I should have read the fine print, which does state “The ultimate versatile cooler, this mini fridge goes from cooling to heating with just the flip of a switch; cools up to 32F below ambient temperature and warms up to 140F in an ambient temperature of 75F.”

If I am reading this correctly, if you have it set to “cool” and your garage ambient temp is 85 degrees, the items inside will only get to 53 degrees, which is certainly not COLD.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersIt’s not going to cool like a real fridge but it does a really good job. I keep a thermometer in there most of the time and it stays straddling about 50 degrees. I keep 4 Red Bulls in there and a little lunch ice pack to help it chug along.

My husband drinks all my Red Bulls so I got this and I’m pretending it is a skincare fridge. I usually take a drink out and put it in the freezer for a few to cool it the rest of the way but pretend that it was just in a pack under our bed the whole time. If he doesn’t see them, he doesn’t rob me of them. It’s the convenience of seeing them cold in the fridge that really entices him. Who wants a hot Red Bull from under my bed? No one.

So far, he hasn’t caught on. It’s saved me tons of money on Red Bull.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHad a different brand that worked great every day until it didn’t after a year and a half.
On a budget so bought cheapest at the time – it has a green soda brand – didn’t mind – but that one didn’t get my sodas quite cool enough.

This one has perfect cold & was on sale. It can be used for makeup products or whatever, with a tiny plastic basket on the inside of door.
To use for soda, you have to remove it to fit 6 cans (just slips out)
So bought a second and returning green other brand.
    Note:
1 a lot of reviews about a similar similar short lifespan – but per month it’s ok
2 complaints door broke when slammed fridge door closed
IT IS NOT A MINI REFRIGERATOR – IT IS DESIGNED TO KINDA LOOK LIKE ONE.
    DONT SLAM DOOR.

3 In fact kinda need to, but should anyway, use two hands to close. One to hold unit in place while other carefully and softly snap the door closed. Don’t need to use “the door handle” opener to close, if you just softly close with push & hear & feel the door click.
4 says also “For Hot to stay hot”. I never tried it but in general, if you want your mini can cooler to last as long as possible, id just keep it place.
5 also, if you see any dust accumulate on the air cool intake fan ( very little air and quiet) but if use a hand vac to periodically to remove any visible dust, may extend life.
6 PERSONAL hack. Have a chest cooler. Worried wouldn’t not get enough air to keep it cool. Bought a tiny/small USB fan, and have it blow into the air vent, and it really keeps items super frozen. Sometime I don’t notice the fan got unplugged, and can tell with things lees hard frozen (frozen still, but want it to be as cold as possible)
APPLICATION if you put a mini cooler like this kind, if not enough ventilation a small USB fan could help.
There is no temperature control. So might help.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAa someone who suffers from CFS/ME, I spend significant periods of time confined to my bed.

Great for keeping fortisips, a yoghurt and a small snack cold. The bottom fortisip you see there contains milk.

Cools well enough using a peltier device for its size. The fan is not 100% quiet, so bear this in mind if using it for this purpose.

    Ideal bedside fridge.

I moved house and I was going to be without a fridge for a few days.

I need my morning cappuccino, it is an absolute must for me. I drink plant based milk so it wasn’t like a could nip to my local shop for a pint of milk every morning so I bought this little fridge to tide me over.

My litre bottle of milk alternative just fitted in height wise so I was happy. I then put a small pack of butter in as well and unfortunately the next morning my milk was partly frozen, almost like a slushie, so I wasn’t able to store anything other than the milk in there, which is okay.

I’ve now had my fridge freezer delivered but I’m keeping this at the back of the cupboard, in case of emergency in the future.

I’ve got a smart meter in my new place and this mini fridge wasn’t overly expensive to run.

Love this little fridge. It says it has capacity for 6 cans. Looks smart, slightly noisy when its in quiet surroundings but you get used to it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHolds 6 cans no trouble and gets really cold, used this on a recent premier inn visit, they do not have a fridge in their rooms, this little cooler kept our drinks really cold for the whole stay, nothing worse than warm cans, would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNice little fridge. Got it to keep baby’s milk cold at night, and it does that, but does it too well. It’s so cold, he won’t drink it. The warming option helps, but takes a while to switch from cold to warm. And can’t change how cold the cold is… so maybe that could be an improvement for the next version.
