It is great product for your kitchen, auction is good .sleack design.
Glass look cool
I found this cooker hood fairly easy to install, comes with a diagram that you can use as a template for drilling! The chimney is a bit flimsy but once it’s fitted it looks quite good! Fan is a bit noisy even on the first setting!
I have reduced one star for this product because the suction is way too noisy, even on just one! Sleek tho, so thumbs up for tha
Looks great, but unless you are really good at DIY I’d get an electrician or joiner to fit it if it’s not just a straight replacement.
It is a little noisy but they tell you that before you buy it. Works really well and one of the few that actually came with the charcoal filte
Does the job looks good. Bit noisy but most of them are.pleased with the look as not too intrusive.
This cooker hood looks great and more pricey than it actually is. I think for the money this is a very nice cooker hood. Installation was simple enough and it seems to be working well for me. I am using it in recirculation mode with a carbon filter.
Reasonably easy to fit, the only problem is the outlet is 6″ and my previous one was 4″. I had to purchase an adapter otherwise a larger hole would have to be made in the tiled wall through to outside. Following fitting the adapter I am unsure if the self closing flaps are opening fully, a further investigation will be needed. The one good thing is the 2 lights emit much more light than my previous cooker hood.
UPDATE 10/09/21
Checked the flaps and they were working correctly.
It is not easy to install on an existing home especially if it would be within a set of surrounding Kitchen wall closet storage.
Great cooker hood, especially for the price. Very happy with it in my new kitchen. A little tip, Ciarra have an installation vid on youtube which was far more helpful than the instructions.
I have had 4 cooker hoods and I can say this is the best I have ever had, my last one was AEG and it is still only 18 months old it was so very noisy (hurt my ears) and had NO suction and the kitchen would steam up, I thought I would try a make I have not heard of. WELL am I impressed or what it is FANTASTIC, and the paper trick works on the first setting which is very quiet we put a piece of paper under it and it just sucked it up. This cooker hood is quiet the suction is amazing it looks great and NO more steamed up kitchen. I am one happy lady.
Mine has a outside vent.
Just beautiful does the job arrival was on time not too noisy I had a electrician put mine up he was surprised I got it from amazon he said he couldn’t find any faults everything is as described I got the carbon so I did not have to vent it outside the electrican put peice of paper to test the suction on the highest it suck to the vent so am please the carbon filter I bought is the one that was recommended it does look beautiful and bring brightness the kitche
Recently bought and had this fitted as a replacement for my previous hood which stopped working during the first lockdown. This one arrived well in time, and the electrician found it easy to fit. The 2 lights are nice and bright, and the 3 speed fan works well without much noise. The only criticism is that the buttons to operate the fan and light look and feel fairly cheap – this detracts from the overall look of the hood. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.
Purchased this extractor a few days ago. Fitted it this weekend. Very tricky to fit the top shroud.
Looked good and worked well for one day. Today when we turned the fan on it was very noisy then stopped working altogether.
Going to have to call Amazon tomorrow. Really hope we don’t have to take it all down again…
Really stylish hob. Does a good job however it’s quite noisy for a modern unit Bought this as a replacement for our old Lamona one. The extraction rate is goodThe cooker hood looks great and fits in perfectly with our modern kitchen.
Generally pleased with the fan, looks nice, works well and good price. For me installation was the only pain – the installation instructions aren’t super clear – the video on the Ciarra website is worth a watch. The main issue for me was that the instructions assume you are going to be connecting the vent duct to the extractor before connecting the duct to the exterior outlet. My ducting is already fitted (like I think most peoples would be!), boxed in and was dangling out of the ceiling waiting to be connected to the extractor. This, combined with the fact that I needed the chimney at it’s lowest possible level, meant that there was no possible way I could attach the lower chimney bracket either to the wall or to the chimney as it’s totally inaccessible. So if you’re working in a tight space then make sure to connect the ducting to the extractor first!
Looks great once installed. Chimney section is fiddly to install and needs patience. Also doesn’t come with the charcoal filter required for recirculated set up. Make sure you order one separately if that’s how you plan to use the fan.
It was easy to install but some adjustments to meet my kitchen were required. I scanned the QR code on the instruction book and it played a video that was better than the instructions.
Looks stylish and lights are bright.
Received it today. Really nice and works great.
Took less than half hour to measure the wall, hang bracket and fix it all together.
Looks a lot more expensive than it was. Fantastic cooker good with the lights look nice in what was a empty space.
Led lights are pretty good for background light left on all night, and only 4 watts so don’t feel guilty. Suction is better than some big brands I’ve fitted, if just a little noisier but without back to back test you wouldn’t know, this is the second one I’ve fitted in as many months.
Bought to replace a (Howdens) Lamona cooker hood. Fit the 60cm gap perfectly, however, the new chimney stack was somewhat narrower than the original so some ‘building’ was required to make it fit. So far it’s been a perfect replacement with the extraction power more than capable even on the lower settings.
Fan motor is quiet and lights are bright LED’s. Installation is not too bad but it is best to read the instructions a couple of times before starting, and make sure you understand how the brackets fit. One thing I found a very useful tip is to remove the curved glass canopy before offering the unit up to the wall, this makes the job much easier because the fan unit is very light without the glass in place.
Good looking cooker hood. Great suction, and quiet, but fiddly to fix to wall, and instructions are not great. Lights are very bright. But still happy with purchase. Arrived very quickly.
Great value. I am really impressed with how quite the machine is and how well it does at extracting the bad smells. My extractor is positioned 75cm height from the Hob and I think this is the upper limit. It is adjustable so if I feel it needs to come down I can do so. The lights are nice and bright too which is a bonus. So far I am really happy.
I did quite a bit of research to find an elegant and quiet extractor.
This ticks all boxes. Easy to install. Looks fab. Lights are very bright. And noise level is much quieter than my old one.
This is a really nice looking hood and looks way better than other more expensive ones. The fan is quiet and moves a lot of air, and the two LEDs provide plenty of light for your cooker. How resilient it is remains to be seen. Hopefully, I will not have to negatively update this review in the future.
The one bad thing is that the instruction booklet is very badly written/translated, and the illustrations are abysmal – really unclear. That’s why the 5th star is denied. It seemed easier to work things out for myself than rely on the instructions.
Mounting the hood itself is easy but the chimney is a pig of a job.
