Powerful ventilation fan (slightly a bit noisy when on full blast). Seems to be lasting ok, been fitted for a while now with no problems.
Good powerful extractor. My only problem was the extractor pipe supplied is not strong enough for the power. Still happy with it.
Everything is good about this product.. except it’s very loud even on low.
fast delivery, well packed, easyto fit. 150mm dia flexible duct – would have preffered 120mm as more connection options
Replaced a Bauknecht (almost identical shape). The Bauknecht extractor from the outset had weak extraction whereas the Ciarra is substantially more powerful. The only disadvantage is that the more powerful extraction fan results in more noise.
This is a beautiful looking range hood, and I had a great experience with the seller, who resolved a problem I had with getting the wrong product delivered twice in a very generous manner. Communication was excellent throughout. Looking forward to getting this installed and completing my new kitchen!
Five stars for suction/extraction , but really noisy and there is little noise or suction difference between settings 1to3 ie no quiter setting .Can’t hear radio or easily converse whilst on, but liveable with for now as extracts well.
Stylish at the comparatively cheap end of the market. The chimney metal is flimsy but the hood is elegant. Good suction but noisy. Reasonable value for money.

Important thing to know is that glass unscrews easily and can be set aside until final commissioning. This is also how to change the bulbs. None of this is covered in the instructions which seems to be for the non glass version.
Build quality is good and once installed looks great. Great value for the price.
Value for money more suction airflow than some dearer models wasn’t to hard to put up just got to chase wire into wall when get the chance to make it look Evan better mine extracts into the roof then out by another pipe

Exactly what was required.easy to install and good value for money.
Had to remove “upper” shelf to fit so a little bit awkward to get fitted. Only required ok one chimney cover.
Suggest measure three times and do fit up if room is tight. Instructions are basic so ensure level and position using brackets.
Connected to outside vent.
Filters not robust. In use light is not central for me. Seems to be working well. Plugs into standard socket. Will update with use.
Would give 4.5 but some minor niggles.
The hood is good it has good suction a bit loader then I expected however down side is a lot of finger marks left where the fitter touched the steel part when fitting.
I was a bit sceptical about purchasing this hood, solely as it is far cheaper than the larger brands. I have had it for a month now and truly cannot fault it – Such great value for money!
For the price, this a good quality and good looking unit. Installation was straightforward, although (as other reviewers have mentioned) the instructions are not very clear. It arrived very well packed.
Arrived on time and was easy to install according to the builder!! Looks really good and is just the right size although I thought it might be a bit large Thanks to other half’s judgement it’s perfect! This cooker is value for money. It also arrived early. Time will tell how reliable it is, but for now it’s doing its job. I would recommend this product to anyone.
The product is good and my only disappointment was the design for screwing the bottom chimney bracket to the wall I found you had to fix the support to chimney before securing to wall. On one review it said there was vibration and because the design allowed the lower chimney to be loose on the fixing wall bracket can see how this would cause a vibration, that said how I fixed the bracket to lower chimney section before fixing to wall doing as per instructions would not allow the support bracket to tighten to chimney. I installed the 90cm hood above a 60cm hob and was glad I did, reading up on the size it was recommended on an induction hob but from stray steam I must say it works well. This fact is not mentioned by Amazom or in the instructions book. Country of Manufacture is in small letters on the box.
Very prompt delivery and well packaged. Easy to install, very modern design great suction and the light is nice and bright. Not to noisy and great value for the money. Please note it does not come with the filter, but you can buy filter paper which you can fit to size and much cheaper than buying the filter itself.
Arrived before stated delivery date, very easy to install and looks fantastic. A great product for the price. I can also recommend the company for top class customer service, I contacted them and problem was solved very quickly with no fuss. Fully recommend.
was a little aprehensive about the chinese make but apart from the instructions!!! this product is of a high quality high spec and works well it came before the delivery date and we could not fault the product or service dont pay for brand names if this quality is available thank you
Bought to replace a Smeg cooker hood-great product -easy to install and looks brilliant-lights just right and the hood really does have some suction power-a really terrific find at a brilliant price
Instructions are terrible but as long as you know what you’re doing it’s easy to install. Product is well made for the price although the instructions for replacing the lights are not correct. The lights are bright enough for when you’re cooking and although a little noisy at the highest setting it’s to be expected when you’re shifting as much air as this does. Has been installed since January, so far it’s been great. Would recommend the product.
One word of warning. The package was left on our front doorstep in the pouring rain in full view of the road – but the courier left the note “handed to the resident” for the delivery. I complained and got no response. Thankfully, because the whole thing is encased in EPS and a polythene bag no harm was done.

i looked at the more expensive brands to add to my new kitchen but these got such good responses that I gave in and ordered and I am NOT disappointed – its perfectly functional, works well and the best thing? Half the price of similar more famous names!
Used this to replace a 20 year old Neff cooker hood that stopped working about ten years ago! Had to do a bit of basic DIY with a drill and screwdriver to fix, and a paintbrush to tidy up the plaster afterwards. The result was exactly what was required – a stylish working cooker hood.
The main body is very easy to install just a single bracket that you lift the extractor on to. The chimney itself is a bit more of faff, but it’s similar to all models in that it uses a two-part sliding chimney that you extend up to fill the gap.
The exhaust pipe is 150mm in dia. where as my existing exhaust system is 100mm dia. and I could not find any attachments to revert from one to the other. I have managed to create something but it really does need a proper fitting. Also the nylon tie provided for the exhaust pipe is useless this should be replaced with a “Jubilee Clip” type fitting.
It arrived the next day and was very quick and easy to install. Its looks and feels expensive.
The only negative thing, is the fact it that I’m guessing it’s a Chinese brand. The instruction manual has all the spelling and grammar mistakes of a typical Chinese translation.
I’ve given it five stars because, so long as it doesn’t breakdown after a year of use, it’s worth every penny and looks fantastic.
