The Eco-Drive is a really good idea: never again need to replace the battery. Good extended warrenty. The face is a little smallee than we’d imagined (but then, maybe, we didn’t read the spec carefully enough).
This is the second time I have bought this watch. The last time was in 2010 and it worked perfectly until now when I think the solar powered battery died. So no complaints on reliability and I like the slightly retro analogue face with Roman numerals.
Lovely looking watch small which is idea for small wrists like mine. Strap a bit stiff but I’m sure it will soften up with wear.

I bought this for my wife who has a very small wrist. It fits perfectly without having to try making an extra hole in the leather strap. It looks elegant and seems to be keeping time very well so her rather sedentary life (she’s disabled and her mobility is severely curtailed) does not appear to affect the battery charging. Setting the time and date are easily accomplished and the face is very clear to read. The only downside is that the calendar date is rather small. I would thoroughly recommend this watch.

Keeps excellent time and looks good. Date a bit small but readable. Overall very pleased with this watch.
I like the dial and the fact that the strap is leather but the proof in the pudding is whether the wife likes as its her birthday present.
No batteries to change and accurate time keeping plus long guarantee make this a good choice for my wife. I already have a Citizen eco gents watch which has performed really well. The face size is just right however the calendar can be a little difficult to read.

We love this its is a gift and was loved by new owner. The watch looks bigger in the picture so be to shocked when it arrives. The face is about the size of a 20p piece but can still be read clearly
I have a small wrist and cannot wear big watches so this watch is what I needed. It is clear to read and the strap has enough holes in it. I did not need to make additional holes in order that it fitted my wrist.
Had been looking for new watch, but the majority of them the face was too big and few had a leather strap. This one fits all the things I was looking for, it is neat and easy to see. Eco drive is new to me so shall see how it goes, but not having to change batteries is great.

Very comfortable to wear, since the watch is very light. The watch has a petite design and is quite tiny, but I personally don’t mind since it’s a style I really like.
The best feature is the eco-drive, no batteries needed! I’ve had this watch for a couple of years now and it still works perfectly.
I have bought 2 earlier watches with Citizen movements, and this one, with its eco-drive, looks a step up in ease of use and avoidance of repair costs (as long as it keeps working!). There was a 6-year guarantee by registering with Citizen instead of the printed 5-year one. So far so very pleased!

Love this watch. Clean, elegant lines. Exactly the right size for my wrist. I’m fastening it on the second hole on the strap, so heaps of adjustment potential if I ever become portly. So pleased not to have to buy batteries.

– My dislikes about the watch are mainly about aesthetic and feel, i.e. very subjective: First off, as other reviewers mentioned, the date window is designed in a way that makes it difficult to decipher the date; you have to put it right up to your eye or use a magnifying glass. I don’t really mind that as I don’t use my watch to check the date, but agree with others that it’s useless and unnecessary.
What’s bothered me a lot more about this watch is the armband. It is very (!) stiff and the holes seem to be in weird places, meaning it doesn’t fit well feels doubly uncomfortable. Even after a couple of weeks of wearing the watch it’s not possible to keep the case centred; the armband’s design combined with my wrist-size means the case always slips halfway around my wrist. Not only does this not look or feel nice, it also means the case is much more likely to knock or scratch against objects.
I’m also not a fan of the band’s look – strongly patterned plus the shiny reddish-brown colour makes it a little too gaudy for me, a little too pretend-posh looking slightly cheap / bad taste. The overall look of the watch, “gaudy” armband plus 3-colour case makes it a bit too busy to fit my classic tastes.
Because I really liked the case, especially after comparing it to a number of other small-case watches, but could not get on with the armband, I kept the watch and got a new band in the end, a softer and less gaudy brown one that fits and looks better. Even with the extra cost I still consider this a good deal, but also a waste of good material.
I’ve bought this as a present. I love it! It is light and nifty. Quite pretty and nothing to dislike about it – I’ll keep it for myself if my friend does not like her present!!
I bought this for my Wife for Christmas.
She tells me she is very pleased with it and that it looks good on her wrist (which it does) .
She is yet to say if it keeps good time, but we both know that Citizen Eco-Drive usually do and there is no reason WHY THIS ONE SHOULD NOT. So on the basis of Reputation, Looks and the 5 year guarantee on this product I can see not reason why it does not deserve 5 stars. Both myself and my wife have yet to have any problem with Citizen Eco-drive Watches.
It has a lovely clear white diall and easy to read Roman numerals. So far keeps good time. Nice secure strap and fits my wrist (which is very small) on its tightest point. Extremely pleased that I don’t have to bother with replacing batteries. Highly recommended.
This delightful watch arrived quickly, sourced from Watchco through Amazon, it had been ‘set up’ with some charge and the correct date – thanks.It has a beautifully clear, easy to read, face and it is a perfect fit for a small wrist.A classically attractive watch it is quite elegant and I love it. The small date window is in keeping with its classic dial.
My daughter was very pleased with this watch and loves everything about it. Only thing is we can’t work out how to change the day as it continued on to the 31st of February.

My wife is delighted with it. It is more stylish, with a neater numeric dial and slimmer leather strap, than the similar Rotel watch that had to be returned to a local store because of a faulty fastener. As a bonus, this watch will never need a battery. I agree with the comments regarding the tiny date display, but we don’t rate this as important…… I forgot! a five-year manufacturer’s warranty is included.
Quality look and feel and no more watch batteries! Watch and packaging arrived in good condition. As usual I left it to the last minute. I told my wife that I would replace the watch I bought her 22 years ago (Rotary) with a similar one for Easter. Unfortunately I was unable to find one exactly the same. I did discover this one, similar; by this time it was the Thursday before Good Friday. I had to tell my dear lady that the watch I promised would not arrive till after Easter. Then to my amazement it arrived on the Saturday morning before Easter Sunday! Well done you gave us a very happy Easter and I’m a happy Bunny! I’ve no idea what customer relations are like as the order went through with no problems.
