The case is fine and as expected. Three internal cardboard dividers were broken unfortunately.

This case is OK better value in 2008 when mine was purchased than now (possibly).
Durability – mine has survived pretty much intact, though it hasn’t travelled far – two moves – work flat -home, after that upstairs – attic- downstairs- attic storage – and downstairs again. Good enough
    Still looks pretty new.

It was a lot easier two move 96CDs 2008 than 2022. Thankfully modern music formats are a lot lighte

Good storage for CD’s. Feels heavy when lifting a full case and the handle does strain and give a little at this point. This stress is caused by the fact that the case is not fully metal. Overall good value and more aesthetically pleasing than a plastic container.

Brought one to begin with so impressed brought a further two as I was happy with the first. Thought great price and will do the job perfect for protecting my CDs with easy to lock . They held more CDs than stated so bonus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid case

The best case ever I have bought I did buy others which seem to fail after using them. Same type of cases Disco DJays use to protect there collections of cds going from one venue to the next on a weekly basis.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe case absolutely stinks of… glue maybe? I don’t know what but I’m airing it out and hoping it will go away. The hinges are strange in that they come apart from the bottom of the case and whilst there is a lot of foam cushioning, it’s a bit rough in some places. But it holds all my cds perfectly and keeps them all tidy. The lightness of the case means it’s not too heavy carrying all the cds at once. I don’t think it’s quite worth what I paid but I’m happy with it an it looks very tidy on display.

Externally, this is a good sturdy case with a detachable lid – which probably isn’t a necessary requirement in a domestic environment, but I can see its usefulness in situations where space is at a premium – well padded to keep the CDs firmly in place. The CDs, complete with their jewel cases, can be stored on end so that labels can be read. In addition there are two dividers so that, if you wished to, it’s possible to ‘split’ the CDs into 4 groups of ten, though, personally, I am using the case without the dividers in place thus allowing a little more ‘breathing space’ for the CDs. However – and this is why I have given only 4 stars to a product which is otherwise excellent – the fit and finish of the internal padding material leaves quite a bit to be desired resulting in its being a very tight squeeze to get the full complement of 40 CDs in the case. Not an insurmountable problem, but a bit more attention to detail during the manufacturing process would have eliminated it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood quality flight case for CDs to be stored in their jewel cases.
The brand Citronic is well known to DJs, good reputation.
The comments about the hinges being difficult to use are misleading, the lid has lift off hinges and they’re good quality, all DJ cases have these hinges.
I bought the 96 CD version, so 3 columns of discs, its a good size for home.
The 120 CD version has 4 columns and is therefore that bit wider and heavier.
    I recommend this case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality case. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhilst not quite up to life on the road when I was DJing when CD was king, the case is good enough for storing my old collection I am ripping to FLAC lossless for Hi-Res playback.

Good looking and CDs fit pretty well.

A well made case with good storage for CDs. I found it easy to use but I don’t intend to tote it around. It is just a convenient way to store my CD collection.

The locks do not function and the operating keys are very weak. Fortunately I do not need to lock the case but I would have returned it if it was an essential security feature that I required.

It is handy for storing your valuables. Very strong and should last for years from the looks of it. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the price. I think the price is a bit too much but other than that, it is a good product.

I have ten of these now to store my cd collection. The latches are starting to go on some of the older ones but I’m talking years of use. Be aware, holds jewel case cd’s and digipacks only. Box sets or anything bigger won’t fit. Very happy though and will buy more when required.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great little case that ‘does what it says on the tin’.

Holds up to 60 CD’s in their original cases (depending on size).
Case lid is loose when open (but this is to be expected as the lid is removable). Some reviews have criticized it as a fault but personally I think it’s ok.

If all you want is something to store your CD’s in then it’s fine. If you’re a DJ or professional then you decide.

Well made aluminium case designed for CDs. I am not using mine for storing CDs but eyepieces, diagonals, Barlow’s for my telescope. I also arranged the contents so that I can store the electronics had controller, battery pack etc. The case is now full but it’s easy to access any of the items and as the lid removes completely the access is from either side.
The main longer partitions are fixed but the smaller ones are removeable. I think I could remove the longer partitions but at present they are in a position that works for me.
I’ve had other types of these style of cases with mixed results, this one does appear to be substantial enough without being too heavy.
    Just what I needed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersProduct came on time. I read in a review that it would not be ideal for a DJ as once you fully open the top lid there’s no secure clipping method to hold it in place and it just falls off. This does indeed happen but for me this was not going to be an issue as my main focus was to put cd’s in storage and for that it worked perfectly!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought three of these to house my CD collection. They are well designed and accomdate all of the various sizes of CD, including double and triple albums. Despite what other reviewers have said, when closed the removable lid seems quite secure. The only minor niggle is the interior padding which is a little crude with evidence of glue stains.
