I’ve used it as my main rain jacket so far this winter and it has not disappointed. Would recommend. Looks good and the pockets seem durable and are well sized.
Not as long as I thought it would be, non the less happy with purchase
The usual for a product of this quality, lightweight, comfortable. I am 5ft 10 and of slim build.,medium was exactly right for me. A t-shirt is just enough underneath the jacket anything else would be a bit much, therefore no good for warmth. It does break the wind though.
I bought this for cycling and protection from medium rainfall — it suits this purpose.
After reading the reviews on this item there was a couple of negative comments but the majority were good. I ordered my normal size and its perfect. I haven’t tried it in the rain yet but it seems ideal for what I wanted. A light comfortable raincoat. I’ll update when it’s been tested properly
Does the job top half of my body bone dry, rubbish in my pockets bone dry. If only I brought a longer one but to be honest this is more then sufficient I am just trying to find a negative.
Great jacket over all! But when it came it had a tear in the jacket. The packaging was all sealed up and no sharp items were used to open it so I suspect it was there before packaged. But great jacket apart from that!
Looks good, light and well fitting. Chose this over a similar Berghaus which wasn’t as good a fit and was a bit of a disappointment. Very happy with the purchase.
I am 36″ chest and 30″ waist yet the XS was near perfect if you like a fitted fit. Ok overva t-shirt but wouldn’t have fitted over a hoody. The waist was a little bit on the snug side but would’ve been ok. Not sure if the S would’ve fitted better or been too baggy. Colours were a bit darker than they look on the photo (olive). Seems like a well made lightweight waterproof jacket but I returned it as Amazon dropped the price before it was delivered and wouldn’t refund the difference without rdturning and reordering so I returned it out of principle. The main zip though was on the wrong side which is pretty annoying. I think ultimately I am glad to return i
I’m not entirely sold on the colour but I’m a big guy and the XL Columbia for me fits perfectly. Shaped well, waterproof, no complaints on that side of things and bought for a good price
Good price, great for summer because its light weight. Goes on well over jumpers, fleeces etc. The hood doesn’t fall off. When I run, it makes for a good running jacket.
The zip on mine keeps catching and wedging on the material which is very annoying. So far it hasn’t caused any damage… So far.
Haven’t tried it yet in the rain, but the material seems to be sturdy and of good quality. Picked one size below what was recommended by the size chart for a good fit.
Nice lightweight waterproof summer jacket. I’m 6’2″, 16st and it isn’t all muscle – I found the Large to be a good fit where the XL was a bit too baggy.
I’m really impressed with the jacket. It has long arms which is great as I struggle to find coats that aren’t half way up my arm. It’s really lightweight and has drawstring around the bottom. It also has drawstrings in the hood too. The fit is great if you are larger build in the chest/shoulders area.
Wouldn’t hesitate to buy agai
It’s ok not as good as the berghaus Goretex jackets but hey it’s not 200 ,I do like the fit and it does look smart it’s keeps the water out and it’s not to heavy.
Would I buy it again? Yup it’s a good mid prised jacke
I have had Columbia jackets before and all have not only fitted me well but kept the rain out whilst being incredibly breathable, this one offered the same things, although slightly shorter in length than I would have liked, despite this I fully recommend any Columbia jacket.
Lightweight and packs up fairly small so you can put in rucksack. Works well as a waterproof outer layer when wearing a fleece underneath. The hood is a bit naff though unless you’re wearing an astronaut helmet.
An excellent lightweight jacket for general use. I wouldn’t use it for hillwalking in really wet, cold weather, where I i would prefer to use a heavier stormproof jacket, but for daily use I find it more than adequate and am very pleased with it. The only odd feature is that on mine, the zip is the opposite way round to what I am used to, with the zip pull on the left. This is not a problem once you have used it a few times.
Amazing jacket, very good fit and doesn’t look massively outdoors therefore I can where it where ever and amazing for the price, usually stick to my known brands such as RAB or North face but I’m pleasantly surprised!
I thought the jacket was faulty (maybe it is) as the inside of the left pocket is unfinished and stuff can slip into the lining. It could be that this pocket is meant to stow the jacket. Either way the left hand pocket is a bit useless really.
