his jacket in warmer than you’d expect for its lightness, BUT you have to keep moving. its properties come to life as long as you are active and release heat.
pity though it’s not water repellent. I hiked for a couple of hours in mild rain – after the first half hour the water had already gone through; after the first hour I was soaking wet.

Can’t go wrong with this jacket. It’s waterproof, lightweight and warm. It also looks nice as my friends have told me it looks good and have asked me questions about it. Definitely would buy from this company agai

I was after a new jacket in this style, after ruining my down filled one by washing it – this one isn’t down but I think that might be plus, as it make taking care of it easier. The jacket itself is well made – very good quality, like you’d expect from Columbia. It’s warm enough for me – it has nice fleece lined pockets, and features the onmi-tech reflective technology to reflect heat back in. It fits well (I bought a large), and it’s big enough to comfortably wear a hoody or something under if needed. Overall, would defo buy again.
