So to address the elephant in the room… I know it’s not correct for the G20 pc, but as parts are impossible to get hold of now I had to compromise. That aside…
This was a great value purchase for what you get!
Downside is that you have to TOTALLY dismantle the pc (or at least remove the motherboard) to get to the back of the CPU to change the mountain bracket.
What I didn’t like however, was you have to remove the square lockdown CPU surround (that holds down the processor) in order to fit the mounting bracket for this… That results in the CPU relying totally on the coolerpump to hold it in place with thermal paste. (I.e. If you remove the pump, the CPU lifts out too stuck to the underside of it by the thermal paste).
The fans are a little noisy, but…. Because this runs much more cooler than the heatpipe/fan setup it had from factory the fans are slower mostly. Only more noise when ramped up.
I do like it… and it does run cooler and was a good price… So that overrules the negatives in my mind. BUT I can’t believe they make you remove that CPU lock down. Not impressed with that part of it.

I already have a lot of Corsair water cooling kit in one PC and needed to fit an AIO to a new build I was putting together. Corsair kit is fine but costs an arm and a leg, plus I did not need any RGB bling either.
Looking around I found the Cooler Master Master Liquid Lite 240 CPU Liquid Cooler and it was the best solution I came across. I went ahead with the purchase despite a number of one star reviews saying that they leak, the pump/fans are noisy or fail, the fans are impossible to screw into the radiator and whatever. My experience was and has been the reverse so far. It arrived on time, packaging great with the pump, radiator and fans well secured. It all looked like quality kit and the fans could be EASILY fitted to accommodate a push or pull configuration depending on what case or set up you required. As for noisy fans, I have to keep checking that they are actually turning as they are so quiet in normal desktop and gaming use. Installed and running since mid January and only good things to report. If that changes I will eat my words and update this review. But for now my advice is don’t overlook this one if you need a non RGB AIO cooler.
Using this with an i7 12700k. I read a lot online of people saying this wont supply efficient cooling. They are wrong. Paired with 2 X 140mm front intake fans, a 120mm rear exhaust – I then placed the radiator to the ceiling of my case. Results were phenomenal. Running cinebench r23 at 100% CPU usage, temps didn’t even break 59C. Great little AIO for the price. Don’t believe when people say it won’t cool. Currently my cpu is in the top 4% in terms of power according to benchmarks and this AIO can handle it just fine. See screenshot for details.
Very low sound, easy to replace after older version died, cheap
The actual CPU cooler and radiator are great, they keep the CPU frosty cool, never exceeding 44oC at full load for 30 minutes… however the fans were noisy, vibrated a lot and therefore caused my case to make a high pitched whine… once I replaced the fans, the noise and vibration went away and I got my sanity back.
Pretty quick to install.
With an Intel Core i7-7700K, the temperature ranges from 35 deg C up to 55 deg C under load.

I can’t even hear this. I have 1x 120mm intake, 2x 120mm exhaust and the radiator fan. My system is almost silent running. CPU idle temps are around 29C and it’s barely breaking 50C under a 1hr load test. System temps top out at around 38C. Extremely impressed with this. Easy to fit. Make sure you fit the radiator the correct way, so any air gaps are in the top of the rad, when fitting to the rear of a case. I’m definitely converted to water cooling.

Moved from the stock fan to this. It appears to be well built and of high quality.
First thing I noticed when in operation is how quiet everything is now. Nice.
The installation was easy, mostly a matter of planning where to fit, and if it will fit with the fan and heatsink, which is quite big, there is a good amount of options and is configurable.
I found fitting the heatsink onto the CPU part of the install a bit tricky, with the tower upright, the cooler kept wanting to spring outwards because of the pipes flexing, it would have been better if I fitted each bolt one by one and keep the tower flat.
Overall very happy with the purchase!
The bottom line, as far as I can tell, is that it seems to do the job. The job in question being the cooling of the CPU, not the flashing of multicoloured lights. I know it does the later but without a further 35 purchase, to allow the RGB controller to be plugged into a USB header on the motherboard I can’t be sure about the former. My motherboard does not have an RGB header so I can’t be entirely sure what’s going on with fluid temp, pump speed etc as their Master+ software can find the device without USB or RGB connection.
Its a very good product very quiet and has reduced my idle temps by 6 degrees Celsius the only problem that I had was just that for me at least it was a bitch to set up installing fans to the rad was fine and the mounting bracket to the block but trying to line up the hooks for the am4 socket took so long once I got them on it was tightening down on the ihs properly so I had to rake it out and try another 4 times Finnart got it on really tight and now it does bits now that its on and considering how quiet it is I highly recommend this aio coole
My sons PC runs the notoriously hot Ryzen 7 2700x and in the micro case the CPU was reaching 86 degrees when gaming or rendering 4k video. The heat using the wraith cooler was also dissipating within the case causing the general heat in the case to rise and therefor other components like graphics card to run hotter!! Not ideal. Installing a 120mm radiator was only option due to space and his budget. the cooler master installed very easily, came with right parts for the AM4 board and has some nice ARGB lighting. Whilst not as effective as a 240mm rad it still reduced CPU temps by 10 degrees over the air-cooling AMD wraith cooler which isn’t a cheap or inaffective air based cooling system. With the cooler master 120 as the fan and radiator sit away from the core machine and CPU heat is blown out of the case this upgrade has also greatly reduced the temps of the other components. Next step to lower temps further is a better case with more airflow
It works perfectly, i run an AMD CPU that are known to run quite hot but was always kept really cool by this cooler.
I do recommend this AIO to anyone as it is a cheap and very good solution for most situation. tho my only issue is it broke, quite randomly and unexpectedly. I was sat playing csgo and started hearing a ticking noice, thought it was a fan maybe, but nope it was coming from the water pump, i checked my temps and they were flying up, and then my computer shut down… i haven’t managed to fix the pump so am forced to buy a new one.. but as this was a cheap AIO it isnt such a big deal unless i didnt really have the money like some people having to build budget systems
The item works very well, but the noise level of the fan is higher than I expected.
It is difficult to judge what is to be expected.
The noise level is not greatly disturbing except at high rpm’s which happens rarely and is ususally a constant low humming noise.
The cooling performance is very good and the highest temperature reading on the Ryszen 5 3600 was 62 degree celsius.
Considering it is crammed into a small case with little airflow,and suboptimal noise decoupling its performance is great.
Mounting was easy and is well documented.
Hardened gamer or people who really want a silent PC might want to consider the larger version or a different cooler.
I can recommend this product with the caveats above.
I went for this cooler because the stock cooler just wasn’t cutting it in game. During one session of Division 2 the temps were hitting the 80s so I thought I’d invest in something new.
I was deciding between this and the V2 but went for the v1 instead because of the price gap
One thing to note is I’d never built a pc before, so I knew what I was looking for but no idea how to implement it. Anyway it turns out it was simpler than I thought.
I removed the stock cooler, cleaned the CPU, installed the brackets that came with the mother board, one blob of thermal paste connected it and there you have it. Now temps barely touch 58 du omg intensive games and it’s idling between 30-40 degrees.
One thing I did was change the stock fan that came with the cooler. The fan has noisy bearings and I already had a set of deep cool fans in my case so went with that. The only sound I have now is the sound of the pump which really doesn’t bother me at all because it really isn’t loud.
I’ll definitely upgrade to something better in future but for now this will do me.
I like Cooler Master, they’re definitely towards the budget end of computer parts, but their build quality is good and their products feel like they are mid-range. I bought the Corsair water cooler and fans and ended up returning them as they try to squeeze extra money at every step (their fans require an expensive controller for RGB). Corsair make things complicated on purpose, whereas Cooler Master don’t.
The quality of this is probably slightly lower than Corsair but still very decent.
This comes with everything you need to get it working even if your motherboard doesn’t have an RGB header on it. My motherboard does have an RGB header, and although this connected, I couldn’t get it working. I’m not going to blame CM for that as it could very well be a motherboard issue. It does also have a small controller that can set the fan and cpu RGB lights going in a variety of patterns or solid colours.
This item also came with a small tube of thermal paste so you don’t need to buy that separately. My temperature is stable and lower than it was with the Wraith cooler which works pretty well.
I was a bit wary about buying this item because it was so cheap, but I am now very happy and think the value for money is outstanding. I’d put the value of this product at around 90, so to get it for less than 54 was an absolute bargain.
I’m an experienced techie, but it wasn’t a complicated setup and probably took me around 20 minutes in total. An amateur could do it in less than an hour without any dramas. I’ve checked on youtube and they have a 12 minute video that walks you through step by step.

Great little water cooler that will fit into lots of ITX cases. When i used this compared to an air cooler, the temp dropped by 10 degrees C! I have been using this for nearly 2 years now and its just great. I also added an extra fan on the other side of it (I dont think they had this in mind when making it, but its totally doable!) and that helped even more.
However it is now pretty loud, and sounds like a waterfall due to what i guess is air inside the tubes. So it is good value, but it has a short lifetime really. I will probably need to replace this soon.
When the product is on idling. Yes, I agree it’s nice and quiet.
But, when you work the processor and it ramps the fan to 100%, it’s quite noisy.
I’ve added an additional fan in a push/pull configuration to either side of the radiator to drop the overall speed of the fan, and this has reduced the noise quite a bit! It seems to be after around 80% power you start to really hear it.
I don’t think it’s the sound of the fan you are hearing, but the actual wind, air pressure caused by it spinning so fast (2200RPM max!). So the added combination of a Push/pull combination fan solves that.
Even better if you can control them all via PWM to ensure they don’t get to 100% unless they have too!
So hence the value for money, it is a good priced set and if you’re not working your PC 100% of the time, it’s great! But I am, so I needed the extra fan to keep it as quiet as I’d have liked out the box!
For the price I paid for it, It’s absolutely exzcellent. The temperatures are very, very low on a 120W load (68) and I’d assume it can do better than that…if you’re willing to deal with some noise; this thing gets LOUD on 100% fan speed and even on 50% it’s still audible but bearable. The pump, though, is pretty much silent and if you have some extra fans or are willing to fiddle with fan curves, it does an amazing job
It was not the ewasiest to mount: The AMD mounting system is finicky and a bit annoying, but the mount is secure and stable
The build quality is okay, but not stellar: the tubes are kind of ugly, but you can see them ion the pictures, overall it’s good enough and blends in very well
Packaging was great, everything came in completely intact and after 3 months there’s not a sign of any leaks or damages.
One little note: It makes a weird noise for the first few hours while the water circulates for the first time and the air bleeds from the pump, so just have a bit of patience
Overall: Excellent, great price, amazing performance and totally recommend it.
This is a very straight forward piece of kit. For the price you do have to lower your expectations. It’s designed for a smaller build and the performance reflects it.
Installation is very simple on an AM4 motherboard. The heat sink just clips and tightens on and the radiator mounts easily with the long screws provided. I use the sata cable to power the pump and this is, again, very easy to do.
This results in a very clean, tidy and professional looking build. The pump has a nice white glow from the writing and the tubes, whilst not the best looking, do not stand out.
The noise from the pump is a bit louder than a Corsair but at sitting distance it’s not noticeable. The fan is pretty quiet but can get a bit loud. Although I only found this out from manually increasing the speed.
Everything seems pretty good so far. But then comes the performance. It’s not great. To put this in to context, I am using a Ryzen 3600 and an msi B450m that will not allow me to set custom fan curves after the bios update.
I had previously been using a cheaper 212 Evo turbo (2 fans) and temps were decent even when overclocked and gaming. Touching 80-85c on a hot day. Without overclocking it stayed ~70c.
The cooler master was getting to 91c overclocked. 80c when not. I had to check to make sure the thermal paste was applied correctly.
As I said, this was with hot weather but stills shows the huge difference in cooling. From experience I have found most 120mm water coolers are bested by air coolers of similar cost. What makes this one particularly bad is the fan.
Changing the fan to a Artic P12 lowered the temperature by 3-4c and with less noise. That may not sound amazing but 76c looks better than 80c. But when you start increasing the cost then you start loosing the value this provides.
Overall it’s not designed for the latest 12 threaded processor. It doesn’t provide cooling on par with cheaper air coolers. That said, installation is easy, it looks very nice in a case, you have water cooling and it will cool any 8 thread processor absolutely fine.
As the cheapest liquid cooler I could find it’s good even if limited.
This is a great cooler for the price however it wasnt the easiest thing to install but you’ll manage, to be fair it was my first time installing a water cooler so maybe thats why it was so difficult. Anyway my temps are great i have my cpu overclocked to 3.9ghz and while watching videos and having multiple tabs open it averages around high 30s and 40s it does sometimes reach 50 degrees but then it quickly decreases. The one major problem i have with this cooler is the fan that comes with it! it is so bad I can hear it while wearing headphones the humming noise is awful and when i first booted up my pc i thought a cable was stuck in the fan blades. Anyway its a decent cooler and has a pretty white led
I have had allot of experience with CPU and Heat sinks over the years this is the first time i have decided to try a liquid cooler as my current PC was running stock i decided to try this recommended cooler, safe to say i am very pleased with it wasnt the easiest to fit for my motherboard as you have to try and hold the plate flush while simultaneously trying to place the plate on the cpu and also try and get the screws in while the pipes are trying to pull it off in one direction but after 20 minutes it was on and looking very nice, after boot up the first disappointing thing i noticed was the fan that comes with it is a bit on the noisy side this was to be expected from other reviews however in my BIOS i can reduce my fan speed so it only goes 50% at all times, you would think this would impact on the temperature but actually all throughout now during heavy use i am still getting between 35c idle and between 40c and 47c under heavy use this is in conjunction with using the highly recommended MX-2 Thermal Paste and considering i used to be up in the 50-60c mark before using these products i definitely cant complain.

I actually purchased this AIO cooler before I’d even selected or purchased the rest of my hardware. I knew that I wanted a 240mm AIO cooler, preferably with RBG. I stumbled across this particular cooler and to be honest, thought it was too cheap to be any good. I almost dismissed it entirely, but thought I’d quickly check out a few reviews. I was quickly proven to be wrong. Reviews online suggested that it was excellent value for money, and punched above its weight in several areas. With that in mind I snapped it up off Amazon, and then stored it to one side whilst I purchased the rest of my parts.
Installation was actually a little harder than I expected. The length of the tubing wasn’t really sufficient for my needs so I had to resort to mounting it at the top of the case instead of the bottom. The tubes are also very rigid, so whilst hard to manoeuvre, at least you know they won’t kink and feel high quality. I was also worried about the seating of the plate onto my Ryzen CPU given only two thumbscrews would be holding it on, however this fear was put to bed after getting the system up and running and checking temperatures.
The accessories included are impressive for the price. I used the RGB splitter to connect the pump and both fans to the top header on my motherboard. It works perfectly and means I have a spare RGB left for future colour goodness. I additionally used a splitter to connect both fans to one fan header on the motherboard, again no issues. The supplied bolts etc. for mounting everything are great, I had no trouble finding what I needed regardless of the configuration I was going for. The supplied fans look great and I found them to be very quiet. I can’t vouch for others who have reviews saying they are loud; perhaps they put them in the wrong location in the case. CoolerMaster supply a small syringe of their own thermal paste which I found to be adequate, however after replacing it with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut I did notice a few additional Celsius drop off the temperature.
Once up and running I used the Asus software they provide for my motherboard to have it automatically test and configure all fans inside the case. At idle it is very quiet, around 42dB, and the CPU idles in the high 20’s to low 30’s, depending on how hot the house is at the time. Using AIDA64 to stress the CPU to 100% across all cores I saw a peak temperature, once, of 57c. Average temperatures when gaming or using 3DMark are in the high 40’s. This AIO cooler keeps my Ryzen CPU so cool the fans hardly have to increase in RPM at all.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great value for money AIO cooling solution. If you’re new to this type of cooler I would recommend checking out some videos beforehand, as the supplied instructions are not helpful at all. Installation is trickier than other AIO’s I’ve used in the past, but cooling performance is very solid.
This is a very high quality product from coolermaster. This cooler has more than halved my cool temperatures, very satisfied. I guess they didn’t have WiFi cards in mind with this product as the radiator pushes my TP Link card down slightly but oh well. Setup was explained well but when it came to actually pulling it off it was very awkward but this varies via motherboards and cases. But to someone who has no knowledge with computers or installing coolers will have a struggle installing this but however there are plenty of YouTube videos explaining installation very well.
In the photo there is a white LED fan showing this is because I decided to go the push pull method utilising one of my previous case fans. But the stock fan is being used and it’s not as loud as some say. Pump is very noisy on first start up but once the loop gets going it’s virtually silent.
I bought this to replace an older, similar Cooler-Master water-cooled heatsink which had broken down (pump failure) and the difference was immediate and very satisfying. I bought my original intel-based tower system back in 2015 with the express intention of having a quieter box because the whine from the cooling fans was giving me a headache. So when the new (in 2015) system arrived I was very happy.
Unnoticed by me, the tower box slowly got noisier because, I presume, the heat pump on the CoolerMaster system was gradually failing, causing the paired fan to work harder to compensate. Eventually the system fell over with a hardware failure message, identifying a “CPU Fan Failure” which I interpreted as a pump failure since the paired fan was still spinning. The CPU temperature was creeping up from 68 dec C, 69, 70…so I powered it off before the thing melted on me.
I read the previous reviews about this system having a noisy pump but I had to get a replacement quickly and this one was one of the few available with Prime delivery, so I took a chance. The kit arrived with all the parts necessary for 3 different Intel mounts and an AMD option, plus a small tube of thermal paste to apply to the interface between CPU and heatsink. There’s more than enough paste – I didn’t quite use the whole tube. NOTE: if replacing an existing part (as opposed to building a new system) you’ll need to buy a two part paste removal and cleaning kit to take the old paste off first.
With the new heatsink in place, my system sounds like it did when new – ie amazingly quiet! The maximum CPU temperature I’ve seen since fitting it is now 38 deg C. I can’t hear the pump clicking, but my box is under my desk so I’d suggest that’s not a issue unless you have your tower box next to your face – in which case the pump noise is the least of your worries….

I probably could’ve gotten away with just replacing the thermal compound on my old Hyper 212 Evo that had a stock Cooler Master fan. But, to be honest, it’s also a pain to work around inside of the case, and I also intend to upgrade to Ryzen some time soon. So I decided to retire the Hyper 212 Evo, and go AiO with this MasterLiquid Lite 120.
As far as assembly and installation goes. It was simple to put the necessary brackets on for my CPU, although I wish they had some kind of grommets to help keep the backplate in place–it’s a bit of a challenge with just two hands. This, however won’t affect my rating.
Installation of the radiator was a bit of a headache, but that’s more down to my case, the CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3). Near the rear fan mount, there’s a clip that I guess is meant for cable management, if you’re only going to use a rear exhaust fan, and doesn’t facilitate a radiator that well. So I had to get a little creative to ensure the area was flat enough that I could screw/secure the radiator. Whether intentionally or not, I had enough accessories/fittings that I could easily go for a push/pull config.
That stock fan that comes with the MasterLiquid Lite 120 is audible. But honestly, while gaming with a headset on, it hasn’t bothered me. Some may want to consider buying a third-party/aftermarket fan, such as a Corsair Air Series SP120. The pump is only really audible on initial boot.
Some quick results–not super scientific. I ran Cinebench a few times:
Hyper 212 Evo: FX-8320 @ 4.2GHz and 1.42v–48C at idle, up to 71C at full load (100% all cores)
MasterLiquid Lite 120: FX-8320 @ 4.4GHz and 1.39v–28C at idle, 51C at full load (100% all cores)
I didn’t use the thermal compound that came with the MasterLiquid, however. I decided to use Noctua NT-H1.
While running games such as Mass Effect 2, which don’t max out all cores. I played for several hours with the temps being between 38-41C.
I’d happily give it a 5/5 rating.
UPDATE:
I’ve since made some major upgrades to my system. I’m now using this with a R7 2700X @ 4GHz. It idles at between 35-40C, and at full load reaches 56C.
For the money, this is a great cooler. I built my PC around 4 years ago with a pretty good spec, however due to budgeting at the time I used the stock CPU cooler. I’m using an i7 4790, 1150 socket. The stock cooler was fine until recently when i started playing newer and more graphically intense games.
I’m using a corsair 350d windowless, which is a micro ATX case and flows air very well. Space is tight near the motherboard, so I didn’t go for the larger ML240L, however this ML120L fit so easily I think the larger one would have fit. The Radiator isn’t too thick, and is easily mounted on either the top or back of the case. I opted for the back, simply because sometimes my cat likes to chill on top of my case and i didn’t want it blocked off. Some reviews have complained about the fan noise, however it doesn’t seem all that bad but that could just be because my fan is yet to run at a high rpm. The pipes feel sturdy and although the heatsink face is plastic it feels high quality. the system is very quiet, but not silent, you will hear the occasional sound from the pump, however to me that’s just reassurance that it’s doing its job. It also comes with a small amount of thermal paste, but no alcohol wipes.
Fitting this cooler is a breeze, however, as other reviews have stated when fitting to a 115X socket the rear bracket is either poorly designed, or the fitting instructions are incorrect. However it does still fit, but you have to set the rear bracket up for a different socket (I cant remember which), but it DOES fit, and it fits well. The clever use of thumb screws for the fan and heatsink is great and makes installation quick. Despite building a few PCs i was a little daunted by setting up the LED functions, however it is straight forward, and the LEDs look great and I was surprised at the variation of colours, especially with the pulse mode.
This cooler replaced a standard air cooled heatsink. Using Kingdom Come deliverance on high settings, and core temp to monitor my CPU, temps would rise to around 73’C, however the highest reading I’ve had with this water cooler is 49’C. I was pretty amazed considering this is such a small cooler. idle temps are not much different.
Overall not bad at all for the price, however for around an extra 10 you can get the larger radiator which is around twice the size, so if you have the room in your case that might be better value for money.
Excellent AIO cooler for the low price tag asked. True to the marketing, the AIO pump is very quiet, certainly a lot quieter than the Asetek and Corsair AIO coolers I’ve owned previously. The build quality of the unit is very good. The shroud on the CPU is plastic, but it feels like good quality plastics were used and feels sturdy. The brackets and included fitments have the same quality, in particular, the thumbscrews for the fans are an intuitive idea that enables quick re-positioning and replacement of fans inside the case.
The fans included with the cooler are a mixed bag. On the plus side, they are PWM 4-pin fans and seem to be of reasonable build quality, however, they will start screaming when hitting higher RPMs. If controlled with a modest fan curve (~24-30% seems to be the sweet spot on idle to around 50-60% on load), they will remain largely relatively quiet and keep the radiator quite cool. Personally — considering the low price tag — I don’t believe they are of bad enough quality to deduct a star.
So, the big question remains: temperatures? I applied the cooler onto a Ryzen 1700 that has been OC’ed to 3.9 GHz. Compared to a Be Quiet Dark Rock 3 that I had previously, the MasterLiquid Lite 240 AIO knocked 21 degrees off at idle (34 vs. 55 degrees), and a respectable 12 degrees off when stress tested with Furmark for 10 mins (61 vs. 73 degrees). I suspect that the load temperatures observed would have been improved further with a more aggressive fan curve. Please note that both coolers were applied using Gelid GC Extreme thermal paste, your mileage may vary with the stock paste included.
tl;dr: It’s a fantastic AIO for those looking for a quiet and cost-effective cooler for overclocking or managing temperatures on their CPU. Recommended!
