Unexpectedly amazing! My old PSU unit was not modular and therefore the wires were fixed.
For cable management the new Corsair PSU was a godsend, my whole PC set-up looked cleaner with only using the cables I needed.
The PSU is silent and has a nice glow to it.
Went from a cheap psu that corrupted every hdd I had but now since getting this psu it saved my pc, I also love the rgb lights, just wish they came with an actual remote instead of a button for people who can’t use a software
“Get a modular PSU and tidy up your case” my brother told me. So I did. If anything I have more cable to lose than before, the cables supplied are way too long for a large gaming tower and I’ve not found any shorter options.
That aside, it’s a great PSU. 99% of the time you just can’t hear it at all.
I only really got the RBG version because of my younger brother. It’s good, but I don’t like the fact that the efficiency is so lowe
Bought this for an all white build for my Girlfriends PC.
It looks great inside, the modular cables are easy to manage and great quality. The RGB can be toggled on and off as well via a button on the back next to the power switch.
I haven’t tried iCue on her PC, so i can’t comment on that side of it, but through my experience with iCue myself, i would expect it to be as seemless as anything else is.
For the price I was pleasantly surprised at how good this is for the price. The RGB isn’t super noticeable but In the dark it’s more than enough. Very well built and super quiet. Runs my 5600x and 3070ti no problem.
This is the 2nd PSU I purchased as the 1st one has performed better than expected. 2 Custom PC’s now built using these power supplies. Assembled great and easy to install. Plenty of cables to suit any configuration.
Got while on sale as needed one for my girlfriends build, ended up liking this one more so she had my old one and I kept this no complaints. And I know if I ever have a problem Corsair RMA is good and they replace within a week.
Needed a flexible power supply with extra CPU cables for MSI AM4 motherboard.
Works just fine – with loads of connector options .
Cables are basic with no extra shielding , so is still a budget level power supply.
Excellent power supply for the price . Not worried about the RGB aspect , it was a replacement for my faulty power supply . Quite small but fits my ATX case no problem . Runs quietly and it’s modular so you only need to fit the power cables you need.
A word of advice the CPU power cable supplied appears to be an 8 pin connector but my mother socket is 4 pin . On closer examination it’s actually a 4 + 4 cable . and a little twist splits into 2 X 4 pin connectors
Bought this product to replace my old non-modular PSU to help with cable management and it is brilliant.
The cables are a nice stylish black which fit the theme for my pc and the length of the cables where perfect for my full ATX motherboard.
The noise is next to none while idle and during gaming/rendering intense frames it cannon be heard over my other fans in my pc.
The Psu its self was very easy to install and the cables fitted in it nice and tidy.
The rgb was easy to set up with just one cable and has good lighting and easy to use software.
Overall, i would recommend this PSU if you are looking for a affordable modular PSU or are looking for a upgrade
It arrived very fast. Packed nicely. Quality unit with all the cables u need including uk power cable. Sturdy build, stunning rgb led design. Couldn’t put it on with motherboard etc. yet due to shortage on gpu and ongoing price scalping. But so far extreme silent rgb fan, power cable, all the cables and cable ties very quality. 50 for 750w quality of this product u can’t go wrong. Highly recommended
Brilliant power supply only issue I have is there’s a consistent buzzing noise don’t know if this is normal. It was a pain to install in my case but that will vary from case to case in my opinion. Please let me know if my power supply is faulty because of the noise it’s worrying
Great PSU so far, at idle this is almost completely silent. I only say almost because I’m sure it must be making some noise, but I can’t hear it at all. Amazing. For the price, it’s a steal as most modular PSU’s are almost double this cost and though they might have a gold rating, the money they would save you over just buying this cheaper PSU is simply not worth it for 99% of the population. I have this running an i5 9400F with 16GB and an Nvidia 1060 GPU. I haven’t OC’d anything so this is more than adequate power. The lights are nice if you’re into that, but mine is shut behind a black PC case so I don’t see them, however, I do use the software for my Keyboard which is also a Corsair RGB job and it’s totally fine, lightweight and unobtrusive. For those of us that don’t relish spanking a lot of money on a PSU, this is a bargain hunters gem.
Replaced my Antec High Current Gamer 620w 80+ BRONZE psu with this one as I’ve had it for 6 or more years and believe that it’s slowly dying as my system would randomly crash after 5+ hours of gaming.
This looks great, makes barely a sound and the RGB is pretty nice too
Very easy to setup and full modular is great.
The cables are great but was aware that they’re a bit shorter than usual but they reach everything without issue.
I’ve got a micro atx Am4 b450m board so it’s fine and a full sized atx motherboard would have less of a concern as there’s less need to cable length
So far it’s all good and will test it to death in the next few weeks so if this review doesn’t get updated in a couple of weeks then that’s a good thing!
