This is a great ram kit but I have had a few problems with the icue software working with the ram. The lights sometimes turn off by themselves. But besides that it seems to be a great buy.
Slipped straight in without any issues and worked first time, looks great as well. Definately recommended if this is compatible with your mother board
For now, I am giving these modules 5 Stars. The RGB effects are amazing! Upon arrival, one of the RAM modules when set to white, it was displaying more of pinkish colour in comparison to the other modules. Some reported blueish and yellowish tint too. I was quite disappointed.
I managed to fix it in my black & white PC build by tweaking the RGB colour mode for that particular module and saving it as a new profile, and a separate profile for the remaining modules.
The other three modules are set to the default white #ffffff with no issues. Now, all match.
Do yourself a big favour and do the following:
a) Lower the brightness of the LEDs to preserve and extend their lifespan. My modules are set to 40% of brightness which is bright enough and visible through a transparent tempered glass panel. By default, they are all set to a maximum brightness of 100%.
It will also lower the temps of those modules and extend their lifespan.
b) If you can, have one of your case fans pointed directly at the CPU cooler and RAM modules to give them extra airflow,

CORSAIR Dominator Platinum is the King of memory sticks. Is it overpriced? Yes they are but you get what pay for. I overclocked my 3200MT/S kit to 3600MT/S without touching the voltage or the timings. Those are micron chip and Ryzen optimized. I bought them half price so it’s even a better deal .
Bought this for $100 CAD for a gaming testbench, overclocked to 3200mhz no problem. Visually pleasing with the RGB. Note: The height on these are much higher than other typical RAM. Make sure to keep this in mind for CPU Cooler/AIO clearance
It never crashes. It always runs at the native clock which for me is 3200. I don’t overclock but with the asrock x370 am4 chipset it works just fine. They fit really close to each other. they are tall sticks. They have a little vent portion.
It’s pretty strange to have to upgrade the firmware in your ram but it does sometimes. With the i-cue software. It’s fast though and you don’t have to hold your breath.
Okay now the real reason you may want to use it. Its awesome LEDs. there are like 15 presets but if you have way too much time , there is a way to led by led customize it but i only got one stick programmed and couldnt take it anymore. I hope the video attaches. I made a kind of up-down fire for it.
Hola que tal amigos la verdad es que las memorias estan a otro nivel, la calidad de construccin es inigualable, las tengo montadas con un ryzen 9 5950x en una MB ASRock 570 Taichi Razer Edition, al igual que muchos de aqui fue un problema subirlas de frecuencia dado que el xmp que viene por defecto no funciona y es necesario ir subiendo de a poco a poco el voltaje para ver hasta que punto pueden hacer funcionar las memorias, las mias directamente mi intuicin me dice que no tienen esa lotera de hacerles un OC extremo , le pude aumentar las frecuencias de momento hasta los 3566 MHZ con un voltaje de 1.368 lo cual me da una tempera en solo las memorias ram de 38C teniendolas en un gabinete Asus Rog Helios lo cual considero que sea bueno, intentare subirle un poco la frecuencia haber cuanto voltaje se necesita para llevarlas a lo mencionado con el fabricante pero de antemano les menciono para ryzen es falso que funcionen a 1.35v de stock de ahi en mas las latencias son buenas de 16-17-16-34-50 y comparndolas contra otras memorias que cabe decir son mas baratas con un latencias de 16-20-20 creo que estas son mejores no por mucho pero te puedes ahorrar unos minutos en renders, a la hora de editar un video en full hd con efectos de 28 min se pudo lograr en 18min por lo que recomiendo estas memorias solo si el dinero no es problema para ustedes, cabe destacar que las garantas corsair son de primer nivel y se hacen responsables de sus productos en toda latinoamrica, espero que mi review les haya gustado no hay mucha informacin en espaol.

It does what its made to do like a champ. 3600?.. ..easy money, rock solid.
It can almost hold the 4000 mhz, although this is most likely a problem with the motherboard bios and/or AMD chipset drivers or Ryzen 9 itself.
Die Rezension bezieht sich auf Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB (4x16GB) 3600MHz C16 — schwarz. Verbaut sind die Riegel in einem ASUS Dark Hero mit einem AMD Ryzen 5950x Prozessor.
Die Lieferung war wie immer sehr schnell (Amazon) und die versiegelte Neuware kam gut verpackt und unbeschdigt an. Die Module fhlen sich schwer und wertig an — aus diesem Material htte ich gerne ein Gehuse, Corsair.
Ich habe mich aus Performance Grnden (AMD Ryzen 5000 Generation) fr die 4×16 Version entschieden. Hierbei muss jeder mit sich selbst ausmachen, ob das einem den Preis fr C16 wert ist. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass man sich fr die knapp 1.200 schon einen Komplettrechner zulegen kann. Alle paar Jahre baue ich mir ein neues System und gehe daher keine Kompromisse ein.
Im BIOS habe ich fr erste Tests das D.O.C.P Profil ausgewhlt und die Riegel haben “out oft he box” stabil unter 3.600MHz funktioniert. Es gibt zwar ein wenig Overclocking Spielraum, 4.000 MHz konnte ich stabil, unter vernnftigen Rahmenbedingungen, jedoch nicht erreichen. Mehr Module = weniger Spielraum.
Tip: Stabilittstests bitte immer z.B. mit MemTest86 (kostenlos) vom gebooteten USB-Stick durchfhren — alle anderen Methoden (unter Windows) sind untauglich und funktionieren nicht.
Ein weiterer Grund fr die Anschaffung war die Mglichkeit zur direkten Steuerung ber iCUE 4.x. Mein komplettes System ist sehr Corsair lastig (1000D, Commander Pro, Lightning Nodes, RGB Hubs, LQ 120/140 Lfter, etc.). Wer darauf keinen Wert legt sollte sich die Anschaffung gut berlegen, da der Preis schon wirklich beachtlich ist. Die C17er von Trident gibt es fr weniger als die Hlfte, C18er von Corsair gibt es in dieser Konfiguration fr gut 600…
Wirklich empfehlen kann ich den RAM normalen Anwendern nicht. Die Zielgruppe sind Enthusiasten, die ihren eigenen High-End PC bauen und sich im Corsair Universum bewegen. 64GB braucht ebenfalls kein normaler Mensch, der seine Office Anwendungen laufen lsst oder sich einen Gaming Rechner zusammenstellt.
Kritik: Corsair wre gut damit beraten, an der Stabilitt von iCUE zu arbeiten. Manchmal werden die Riegel unter Windows 10 auf einen Asus MB nicht richtig erkannt (ich spreche hier von der RGB Steuerung) und werden in iCUE mit einem roten Warndreieck angezeigt. Dann hilft es nur iCUE zu beenden, den Lightning Service (Dienst) neu zu starten und iCUE erneut aufzurufen. Gerade im Zusammenspiel mit Aura (Asus) ist mir das sehr unangenehm aufgefallen. Die Hersteller schieben sich das Problem natrlich gegenseitig in die Schuhe.
Fazit: Wer 64GB C16er Speicher mit vier Riegeln “braucht”, RGB mit iCUE cool findet und dafr bereit ist eine Niere zu verkaufen ist hier gut beraten. Alle anderen schauen sich nach gnstigeren Modulen um, die hnliche Performance zu einem viel gnstigeren Preis bieten.
Verarbeitung wirklich vom anderen Stern.
Laufen stabil und lassen sich erste Sahne per iCUE steuern.
Was wirklich positiv ist und den Speicher attraktiver macht als den Vorgnger welchen ich hatte (Trident Z von Gskill)… KEIN NERVIGER REGENBOGEN EFFEKT BEIM ANMACHEN… 😀
Einfach in iCUE beim Speicher die Hardware-Beleuchtung anpassen und glcklich sein.

Eingesteckt und losgelegt. Die gute und hochwertige Qualitt war von Corsair zu erwarten. Die stylische Beleuchtung rundet die Torte mit “extra viel Sahne und einer Kirsche oben drauf” noch ab. Kaufempfehlung Nr. 1.
Absolutely beautiful looking RAM… IMHO nothing touches this as far as looks goes…loved it and worked as advertised unfortunately one of my sticks has a permanent blue LED…sticks out like a sore thumb when going for a certain aesthetic… hopefully my replacement fares bette
I had wanted this RAM for a while because of the looks but its price was far too high to justify until I started a new build. I wanted to go all-out, so of course, I bought this RAM. I could not be happier with the way that it looks. It is extremely bright, which is what a lot of other ram modules struggle with. The customizability with each LED is amazing, it looks unlike any other module on the market. Looks best with 4 sticks of ram for a completed look which is what I have. If you have extra room in your budget to spend this much on RAM then I would highly recommend it.

Works fine, but one of the RGB lights tends to malfunction for some reason (I’m not the only one with this problem). If looks are the only thing you’re concerned with, look elsewhere. Otherwise, it works great.
On my z490 msi mobo with the memory overclocking bios I’m running this kit at a stable 4000mhz, could go higher but I don’t want to push temps. Right now on idle it sits at 40c and gaming rises to about 50-52c which is still fine.
I do believe this kit will clock close to 4600 but won’t be great for lifespan.
The led effect with corsair ICUE is fantastic, never seen a stacking light effect before.
Excelentes memorias corsair dominator, despues de 15 horas intentando encontrar el modo donde activar el XMP, por fin pude hacerlas correr a 3200 MHz ! A buena hora pude correr el ROCK SIMULATOR a 200 cuadros por segundo y abrir el paint en segundos.
PROS: Ya traen las lucesitas instaladas
PROS 2: Las lucesitas hacen que tu pc parezca un antro, con la nostalgia de estar encerrado.
CONS: no necesitaba 64gb de memoria, pero no habia kits de 4 a 8gb, yo queria ver las lucesitas en un kit de 4, tampoco traen manual de instalacion.
This is perhaps my favorite looking RAM. Quality and presentation are top notch. I haven’t encountered any incompatibility issues yet. Enabled XMP profile and so far it has been running smooth. Hopefully it will stay that way. Will update my review if ever I run into any issues.
Let me just say that Corsair dominator platnum is easily the most gorgeous, stabile ram kit I have ever owned in my 17 years of PC gaming. The capelix LEDs are to die for you have to see them in person it’s unreal, they mimic what is essentially an ultra low resolution led display. The ram kit easily took timings down to CL14 and I could still run it at cl14 3400 if I wanted to but I’d rather stick with just the tighter timings for now. I am beyond impressed with this kit.
Der Speicher kommt super verpackt an! Optisch ein wirkliches Highlight. Verarbeitung ebenfalls optisch Top! Kann man nicht besser machen. Wirkt extrem solide. Die Beleuchtung ist sehr gut, genug LED’s um ein “Laufband” dazustellen. Speichertimings habe ich nicht berschritten, insofern kann ich die bertaktbarkeit nicht garantieren oder bewerten. Turbo Mode (also automatische bertaktung) luft jedoch stabil. Ein optisches und haptisches Highlight, das ich jederzeit wieder kaufen wrde!
RAM ottime sia in termine di prestazioni, che di qualit ma anche per ottenere dei bei giochi di luce con i led RGB. Unica pecca la latenza, non il massimo ma gi con i profili XMP, importabili dal bios, si possono ottenere buoni risultati.
I like the fast that it works wonders with my newer AMD Ryzen 3rd gen CPU and I dislike the fact that it does not run to well with older gen amd ryzen to well unless you update the firmware on the RAM sticks themselves!! I mean it will detect the RAM okay but I have noticed that on older gen ryzen cpus without the firmware update in question it tends to have quite a bit instability to my knowledge… I am currently using the RAM Sticks with my newer gigabyte B450 Aorus M Motherboard with a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU and like I said just now it works great as a result and of course I did update the firmware on the RAM Sticks and that has also added quite a bit more stability to my computer as a whole….
Love the industrial design and the overall look of these memory kits. Great memory and Corsair has a great warranty on memory. However this is definitely not a bang for your buck memory as it is Corsairs highest line of memory. My biggest complaint is not really a complaint and that is that the proprietary Capellix LEDs in them way outshine all other LEDs in my other products, but that’s easily fixed with turning down the brightness.
If you like the look and have the spare cash these are just plain fun! I didn’t get the chance to try any OC at all since one module began to crash and ruin a new Win10 installation and I’m just glad it wasn’t my legacy box. I’ve had plenty of BSOD over the past 20 years but I’ve never had one actually corrupt a Windows installation so consistently. Amazon was, as usual, a treat to deal with for the pain free return. I didn’t opt for a direct replacement as I instead decided to bump up to 3600 Dominator modules which are not currently sold at Amazon. I’m paying a premium to have some fun with this build but since I expect this to be the last PC I ever build I figured, why not!

Gosh this new ram from Corsair is just amazing !!!. Easy to install like any other ram + you have this amazing skin. Even with the led off the ram stay very nice. If i could id give more then 5 start 🙂
