1. Typical I/O performance numbers as measured using CrystalDiskMark with command queue full and write cache enabled. Fresh out-of-box (FOB) state is assumed. For performance measurement purposes, the SSD may be restored to FOB state using the secure erase command. System variations will affect measured results.

2. Some of the storage capacity is used for formatting and other purposes and is not available for data storage. 1GB equals 1 billion bytes. Not all capacities available at initial launch.

This arrived in neat little plastic container, I wanted to use it in my HP laptop, it was easy to install, just plug and play, and now I have mega storage on my laptop for all the pics and videos of the family, super fast speeds loading videos and programmes.

Purchased one of these whilst on sale, was so impressed with the speed compared to a normal hard drive that I purchased another so now enough memory and fast gameplay I’ll ever really need.
Comes with a long limited warranty as well which is definitely a bonus.
Can’t fault them whatsoever and delivery was fast as always to.

Turned my super slow 2 minute boot time to about 15 seconds and make everything I now do about 10x faster, all for about 40 quid. Don’t know how I lived without it tbh, its a must buy. Make sure your motherboard has the M.2 NVMe slot (it should do if its kinda new) and make sure you install it in the top port for the most bandwidth. I cloned my hard drive onto it and made it the priority drive on boot up and the difference is incredible. 10/10

I recently upgraded to the Crucial P3 1TB NVMe SSD, and I couldn’t be happier. The performance is blazing fast, and the 1TB capacity provides ample space for all my needs. What’s truly impressive is the price — it’s incredibly affordable for the quality and speed you get. This SSD is a game-changer without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

I bought a terabyte drive to replace the stock 256g drive on my HP laptop. It was simplicity itself to swap over. I simply cloned my old drive to the new one using a HD enclosure, took the original out the machine and in with the new. All booted back up and running in minutes. Once I was happy, I cleaned out the original 250 gig drive, put it into the now empty HD enclosure and now have a useful sized memory stick. The new SSD is fast and responsive. 5 outta 5 from me

It’s a Crucial NVME, it just works and it’s fast!

Installed it in my laptop so I don’t need to use USB drives for music for Rekordbox and combined with the CPU and Ram in the laptop this helped Rekordbox to analyze over 10k tracks in less than an hour, something the PC that I was using previously took nearly 4 hours to do.

If you want a fast drive that just works buy this, you won’t regret it and unlike the Lexar one I also bought you shouldn’t have any worries about this drive working in your pc/laptop.

I paired this Crucial P3 Gen 4 with my M1 MacStudio and an external ACASIS 40Gbps NVMe SSD Enclosure on a Thunderbolt 4 socket.

I have run it for 2 months and am getting Blackmagic reports at 2571 MB/s write and 2574 MB/s read.

There are reviews around which show how important the Acasis/SSD pairing is on an M1 Mac. But none I found with the Crucial P3 Gen 4.

    The ACASIS is specified for USB 3.2/3.1/3.0/2.0 Type-C, USB4 M.2 NVMe Enclosure to PCIe 2280 M-Key (B+M Key),USB C Enclosure compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4,Up to 2700 MB/s

Easy to install and the supplied software to clone your existing harddrive was quick and easy to do. Really happy with the extra memory space and it even boots up a little quicker.

I installed this into my ps5 and I simply had to format it on the system for it to work immediately no problems. Great and works perfectly, also used another one in my PC works excellently in both systems.

Bought one of these to go with my Samsung Boot drive. I bought the 4tb one as a games storage and it has been working great. I moved all my games in rapid time and have not noticed any slow down compared to the Samsung which is rated much faster.

Highly recommended as either a main drive or an additional storage drive!

My only wish was that the motherboard post was also included and not just the single mounting screw.

I’ve been using Crucial drives in my PC’s, Laptops, MacBooks for years. Never had an issue. I highly recommend using their drive cloning software if your replacing a SSD/M.2, it’s easy to use and clones in no time

Fitted to my alienware m15 r6 with no problems, very easily & is running very smoothly. Only wish I was brave enough to clone the main 1Tb NVME 3 drive over with this being NVME 4 but happy with the speed of this & now having near enough 2Tb without losing too much on formatting. Cheaper than dells prices too

I bought this SSD and used it to upgrade my AsusVivoBook’s storage. The SSD comes with a free cloning software (which can be downloaded from Crucial’s website). The software is really useful so I don’t need to reinstall Windows, recreate partitions, and manage all files.

At least it is easy to fit when you realise the WiFi card uses the same M2 connector as the HDD. A little speed boost over the 256GB SSD that was in the device. Very happy with the price and capacity. It’s a pity it didn’t come with the Acronis drive cloning software they used to but for the price that is forgivable.

I’m not good at build so the small screws did challenge me a lot and I lost one of it (but thanks god there is a backup one). The SSD got a good price and good performance which solved my issue very well.

I bought this Crucial and a Samsung 970 Evo plus at the same time (both 1Tb). I ran some speed tests on them in order to decide which would be the drive I use for my laptop and which would be my spare. This Crucial drive was fast but a little inconsistent with it’s speeds. Therefore the Samsung won. The crucial overall was fractionally slower than the Samsung in my tests. It was also a lot more inconsistent speed wise than the Samsung. Good value for money though.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhen I contemplate the problems that a failed disk can bring, I worry. It’s the broken applications, lost files, photographs, projects and work. And NVMe M2 disks are bought for speed. So whether it’s gaming, music making or photo editing, they tend to be at the core of what I’m doing. Storage and backup can be effected on slower disks that are a little cheaper, but still need to be reliable.

There are a few brands – like Samsung and Crucial, that seem to be ahead in the management and value stakes. So I confine my purchases to them.

Ease of installation will depend on what you’re doing. If you’re replacing a drive within a laptop, it can sometimes be fiddly, with a need to disassemble several parts of the machine to get at the drive housing. How clear and how easy that is, will depend on the information the laptop manufacturer makes available, not the drive manufacturer. It’s also worth finding out the maximum drive size (TB) that can be installed. Some CPUs and motherboards have their limits — exceeding this can be possible — but can involve diving into the BIOS and work-arounds. So it’s best to do some research.

These Crucial disks have the same form factor and installation options as other disks of their standard – by Crucial and other manufacturers – I’ve yet to see a difference between brands. Installing in an external housing is usually very straightforward.

For gaming, speed can be critical. I’ve not used this for gaming, it’s on a disk array on a powered external USB hub and the USB speed is the limiting factor. The manufacturer provides full details of the maximum read and write speeds that can be obtained.

I’ve found the value for money per GB of storage that Crucial offers is excellent.

The SSD arrived on time and was well packaged. Over the last few months I have bought several Crucial SSD from P3 to P5’s both SATA and NVMe. These drives are so easy to setup and this one was no different. It took only a few minutes from getting it out of the box to a working drive in my PC. This is also a nippy SSD. I am happy with my purchase would would recommend it especially at the price it is.

Wow.JUST WOW!This thing is blazing quick.i did not expect these read and write speeds from a 40 SSD from such a known company. When i recieved it my initial thoughts were on how fast windows downloaded and how quick it could boot up.Even with my pentium 6th Gen it still loaded up into the full windows menu in under 10 seconds.I were amazed as the old Toshiba NVME Gen3 SSD took about 2 minutes. It has relieved so much stress on my processor leaving it about 1% utilization most of the time i can even play GTA now at 60FPS which is unreal! The crucial executive storage manager provides many options to improve the SSD which is a big plus.If your looking for an SSD go no further with this SSD going up to 4TB and 5000,4800Mb/s Read and write speeds i personally think it is a steal

My ASUS Z390-A motherboard has two M.2 slots so I was able to add this 1TB NVMe SSD card then clone my 250GB C: boot disk to it using the Crucial data transfer software. I then swapped the M.2 cards over so the PC booted off the new 1TB card (couldn’t see how to change boot sequence in BIOS which would achieve the same thing). I was a bit apprehensive but it all worked well and I’m getting 3500 MB/s sequential read speeds. I download Crucial Storage Executive too which will be useful. I had an issue screwing down the loose end of the SDD to secure it as there was no support post in my PC, i found a workaround so not an insurmountable issue
