Only wanted more RAM, which this gave me. I don’t game so have not given any star rating, as I don’t know.
My son changed the part for me ,which was very easy.
Affordable memory from a well known Company. Easy to fit 2x16GB into my Terramaster F2-423. NAS accepted OK and allowed me to increase (SSD) Hyper cache after resetting the system and removing SSD cache flags on setup.
As someone who uses programs like android studio, my poor laptop that had 8GB of RAM total was struggling. Bought a couple of these and the difference is insanely good. Easily fit on my laptop, 10 minutes to install myself with no issue. Worth buying and upgrading with if your laptop feels a little slow.
Upgraded a laptop that had (in 2022 was sold brand new with) ONLY 4GB of RAM.
Had an i5 12th gen CPU, 256GB SSD and 4GB of RAM which was the massive bottle neck, the machine was using more than 4GB of RAM just on boot up. Rest was page file on the SSD.
Installed this, machine now lightning quick and that future proofs the user for a few years hopefully.
Pretty much always know what you’re getting from Crucial.
Some people spend a lot more on ‘flashier’ memory, but the basic specification is really the only thing that matters, and I know my PC won’t be any quicker with over-priced so-called ‘gaming’ memory.
Works perfectly on my laptop (HP Pavilion 15). Installation took me a few minutes, make sure you watch a youtube tutorial or a guide how to take off your laptop cover.
The inbuilt 8GB RAM was not enough for me – instatly 85 – 90% usage just when launching my browser. Now with the upgrade to 16GB it’s barely hitting 45% and it’s no longer a struggle to load new tabs.
I took a bit of a chance ordering this ram (single 16gb module) but glad I did. The maximum ram my laptop can have is 12gb. That’s 4gb soldered on to the motherboard and a further 8gb added to the single ram slot. Instead of ordering the 8gb module I went for the 16gb instead. My laptop now has 20gb of memory and has had no issues at all since installing. At the same time I also ordered a 1TB NVMe drive for the laptop. The new ram and NVMe drive have given the laptop the speed and storage capacity it needed. Very happy!
Worked really well with my Laptop, packaged really well too! Almost too well, took me more time to get it out of the packaging than it did to actually install it lmao.
Overall for the price it’s not too shabby!
I ordered this to upgrade my new Laptop form 16GB to 64Gb it was easy to instal and installation worked first time, having used Crucial products before I knew that there would be no problem with this item.
The only thing that I would recommend is that when your installing any memory that you ensure that it is seated properly.
I WANTED TO UPGRADE MY DELL i5 LAPTOP MEMORY TO 32GB, AND CHOOSE THIS ITEM BECAUSE
IT SEEMED MORE COMPATIBLE WITH MY SYSTEM. EASY TO INSTALL – I JUST FOLLOWED A YOUTUBE
VIDEO – AND HEY-PRESTO JOB DONE.
So glad I did this upgrade. Very easy to install and boosting RAM from GB to 32 GB has been incredibly helpful. Was at the stage of needing to buy a new laptop, but this upgrade has given it a new lease of life.
I bought this to upgrade a current laptop that I had, the only downside is my laptop cannot run the ram at its full speed, but that is a failing on the laptop (or cpu in this case).
Still great value for the money. If you need an upgrade, no reason to pay more.

Had to upgrade to 32GB from 16GB because of Dropbox and Chrome’s appetites for RAM and my inability to tame my habit of having 100+ tabs opened at the same time.
I bought this for my 7th gen (NUC7I5BNK) Intel NUC, which supports maximum RAM speed of 2133MHz. Thanks to other reviewers here, I already knew that this RAM would be compatible with that speed. And I can further confirm that it is indeed working fine at 2133MHz frequency.
Having 32GB is great! I believe this will be enough for me for the foreseeable future. I can have Chrome with 100+ tabs, Dropbox, Android Studio (including Android Emulator), as well as Visual Studio and other utilities like Postman, Git, Sublime Text, Photos, video player, music player, etc. all opened at the same time, without anything crashing. Bliss!
Now it’s the CPU that has turned into a bit of a bottleneck, but it’s still fast enough, so that’s ok for now.

I bought 2 sticks of 16GB memory and I have tried it in the below mini computers.
They all accepted the memory with no problems.
It is now permantly installed in the Beelink mini computer and the other 2 have there origional 16 GB of memory each.

Fitting the Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Laptop Memory CT2K16G4SFRA32A sticks was very easy and doubt any who try wont have any problems.
I bought this memory for HP pro-book 450 g9 i7 1255u. I did a lot of research even though it was recommended by Crucial for my laptop. I wanted my graphics card to operate as Intel Xe graphics instead of UHD with one stick of memory. The information online was rubbish, no one answered my query. Like two sticks of 1rx8 or two sticks of 2rx8 what’s best. Answer two 1rx8 Vs four 2rx8. Duh. Anyway I settled on this memory after a few days of headaches. What a good choice. Easy to install, booted up, there was a bit of delay that had me worried. It was the BIOS checking things told me memory had been changed, clicked continue. The computer started told me I had a driver to update. Checked device manager, everything was being declared correctly with 32gb of ram and Intel Xe graphics now working as it should. The original memory was Micron, parent company of Crucial. I think I chose wisely. Was I lucky, maybe, did others who chose this memory do something wrong or just got a bad stick. Who knows. I have bought Crucial memory in the past no problems and will do so again if I need to. A few bad sticks from the millions sold doesn’t make them a bad company, it means an employee probably had a bad day. Great memory from a great company.
Amazing value – the Lenovo OEM costs 300 – this one was only around 72 when I got it, so a real deal. 32GB added, the Lenovo P16s Gen 1 had 16GB soldered on board already, so a total of 48GB now, great for having loads of chrome tabs open and running virtual machines. Note this SODIMM is a dual rank type which is excellent as it opens up the full power of the Intel Iris Xe graphics on the processor which require a dual rank SODIMM to be installed to work.
The memory chips look high density (meaning loads of memory chips on the circuit board) which isn’t a problem for my use case but if you’re into tweaking sub microsecond latencies with a very high end graphics card and running some hard number crunching you might want to shop around before deciding. I don’t see any difference myself, all my code runs perfectly fine on this.
This 32GB works perfectly with my Lenovo P16s Gen 1, I can only recommend it. If you are going to buy the 16GB or 8GB module read up first if it is dual rank, if you’re interested in the Intel Iris Xe facilities of the Intel 12th Gen processor.
Very happy with this purchase.
Note: The bluetooth antenna can be knocked off easily after opening the P16s case to install the SODIMM, it’s a tiny MH4 IPEX connector towards the back of the case, double check this before closing the P16s up. The bluetooth range suddenly attenuated massively after upgrading the RAM. I got caught out initially thinking it was subsequent firmware updates etc. until I reopened the case (always trace your steps back to the last change(s)) and spotted this. This antenna connection is important as it doubles as the 2nd WiFi antenna as well.
If you’re looking to buy, this is a great product. bought as I was gonna be cleaning my laptop fans anyway so why not double the RAM while I am in there.
A few points for people thinking to buy:
1. This is DDR4 SODIM ram so make sure that your board is compatible
2. Some RAM is soldered in and cannot be replaced.
3. Lookup your laptop and find where the RAM is before you start (Youtube teardown videos are usually good)
4. Check how many RAM sockets you have as some laptops only have 1. you most likely have 2
Before you start:
1. Remove any wool or nylon clothing (static is a huge killer of laptops)
2. Remove any headphones or things dangling down
3. make sure your work area is as clear as possible and you have a small pot for any screws
To install:
1. After locating the RAM slots you will see 2 silver (or black) clips, one either side of the chip. Gently pull these out to the side until the old RAM chip pops up.
2. Remove the old chip and put it somewhere safe (avoid anything that can conduct static)
3. Remove the new stick out of its packaging, avoid touching the golden teeth (not the end of the world if you do, just good practice).
4. Insert the RAM into the socket at a 45 degree angle making sure to line up the gap in the bottom to the notch in the socket.
5. gently press down until you hear the lips click into place.
While you’re in there you may as well give the fans a clean. remove as much dust as you can, Compressed air and/or a microfiber brush is good for this.

Ok, The Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 CT16G4SFRA32A
*** Part number: 8ATF2G64HZ-3G2F1 ***
I Could’nt figure out if it is 1R or 2R – Single/Double Rank
Under CPUz it states “Single Rank” but IDK if that is because I only have a Single DIMM stick installed in the system I am checking **OR** if it means this product is a Single Row/Dual Rank + I have a Single Module installed, there is a difference??
Two separate Devices, Two Stick of Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 CT16G4SFRA32A memory.
Device #1 NAS
============
I Just swapped out single 4GB stick for this Single 16GB DDR4 Stick (Plus I reinstalled the original 4GB DDR4 stick for a 20GB DDr4 total Mixed brands) into Asustor AS66064T NAS.
Can confirm Asustor NAS can definitely handle higher than 8GB DDR4 ram and will run above Asustor spec’s quite stabile under heavy load/stressed.
Device #2 Mini PC
==============
Another separate 16GB stick of RAM (Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 CT16G4SFRA32A) used to replace old 8GB module works quite happily inside a B310 MoBo / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (TU116) GPU based Gaming Rig. (24GB DDR4 Total)

It’s difficult to make a ongoing conversation in the wide world of RAM, but for a entry price point that’s completely budget friendly, and in-line with today’s Mini-PC’s, Crucial is an excellent option. Why? Well Crucial, as of the time of writing this blurb (mid april, 2021), has on offer multiple RAM and SSD component’s for building your own tiny horsepower machine, and they all fall excellently in comparison to other on price point, vs. performance. We, on a modest 500$ budget, were able to narrow down the newer ASUS PN50 (with the Ryzen 4300 chip), while also affording Crucials P2 line of snappy 3200MHZ Ram (16GB), as well as opting for one of Crucials new tiny form factor SSD’s.
Not a bad setup for under 500$ USD, and having the latest Ryzen. In performance, Crucial’s P2 series of RAM blisters along, and for a price point of 28$ USD per 8GB stick, vs. similar RAM ranging up to 70$ USD for the same specs. While crucial offer’s a line of different RAM and component’s, the P2 series was excellent for out testing review of the ASUS PN-50 across emulation, gaming, and everyday tasks. Simply finding 3200MHZ So-Dimm sticks at this time, is a pricey en-devour, often costing half again as much as the barebones box itself. This is where Crucial shines, not only for offering a completely budget friendly option, but also in offering it to customers as such a great price point. If that’s not enough, to help clear up some of the vastly overpowering confusion in ordering parts these days, their website also sports a very handy tool to help you locate the right RAM or components for your device (It can be quite overwhelming in ordering through part numbers if your not familiar, and often, those on Amazon specifically mark up their product’s in listings aimed at product numbers, for this reason).
Within 10 minutes of basketing our box, we were up and running with compatible RAM and SSD for half of the competitors, which snapped snuggly in place with no issues upon arrival, and performed excellently! For the price point, and sheer ease-of-usage, I’d highly suggest you guys give Crucial a shot in shopping for your performance options on any upcoming PC builds!
