In Verbindung mit der Nuclias Software oder dem Controller lassen sich mittelgroe Netze super einfach einrichten und administrieren. Bei 130qm kommt man mit drei Stck super hin und hat Erdgeschoss und Keller sicher mit 2,4GHz ausgeleuchtet. Fr 5GHz knnte man auch vier Gerte nehmen.
Toll, mit dem Controller lassen sich mhelos mehrere Accesspoints identisch konfigurieren. Einziges manko: Beim einspielen einer neuen Konfiguration werden die Accesspoints alle einmal kurz neu gebootet. Kleine nderungen fhren also immer zu einer kurzen Downtime von ein bis zwei Minuten. Gerade am Anfang , wenn man verschieden Funktionen (z.B. Gastzugang mit Tickets) ausprobieren und testen will, strt das ein wenig. Sobald alles einmal eingerichtet ist, luft die Sache aber rund.
Veramente un buon prodotto, peccato che bisogna prendere alimentatore a parte!
The Ethernet cable goes into the back of the unit, so unless the cable is coming through the wall then a flush wall mounting fitting is not possible i.e. the units does not go flat against the wall because the cables is in the way
Sta funzionando ormai da tempo e non ho riscontrato alcun problema, buona la copertura Wi-Fi.

Es el cuarto plato que compro de la misma marca.. es estable, dos antenas diferentes, muy estable no le pongo 5 porque creo que es un poco caro segn el mercado que hay.

Presi due per sostituire due vecchi ripetitori pi economici. Uno per piano della casa.
Con questo modello potevo usarne uno solo. Uno riesce a darmi copertura ottima su due piani mentre i vecchi faticavano. Comunque non interferiscono l’uno con l’altro.
La velocit anche aumentata come la stabilit.
Habe drei dieser Access Points im Einsatz, hngen an der Wand bzw. an der Decke. Strom und Daten laufen ber Cat 6 Kabel in Wand/Decke.
WLAN Empfang top. Viele Einstellmglichkeiten bei der Firmware auf dem Access Point, wenn man sich ein wenig damit beschftigen mchte. Basiskonfiguration ist aber schnell erledigt.
Produkt kann ich weiter empfehlen.
Die aktuelle Software lsst sich nicht ber die Firmware aktualisieren, die muss bei D-Link gedownloadet werden um dann manuell zu installieren.
Sonst luft das Gert und macht was es soll mit einer guten Reichweite.

En revanche, l’interface web de configuration connait quelques dfauts, comme l’impossibilit de configurer les profiles wifi en 2.4GHz (on peut passer par un shell) et (c’est navrant), le ssh qui ne fonctionne pas (le telnet fonctionne lui…. c’est juste affligeant d’utiliser des technos plaintext)

El trasto viene con la direccin predeterminada 192.168.2.50
O sea, como para darlo de alta en una red con tu rutercillo de Telefnica.
Y como hayas abierto puertos fijando alguna direccin IP… en fin porque era barato para ser POE.
El aparato funciona perfectamente. Venia con el ltimo firmware. (2.01) Y sin necesidad de “Nuclias Connect” ni historias.
Es muy fcil de configurar y est repleto de opciones. Adems ha ampliado bastante la cobertura Wifi de mi piso, en comparacin al router del proveedor de internet.
Recomendado 100%.
Ajout d’un point d’accs o la box ne porte pas. Passage cable ETH et connexion 1Gbs. Point accs aliment via switch POE. Prvoir une alimentation externe au cas ou !

Luego trae servicios avanzados como anlisis de las bandas para conocer lo saturadas que estn, detectores de intrusin, VLAN, servidor DHCP, modo wifi mesh, control del trfico (limitas la velocidad o servicios por cada cliente) y RADIUS, entre otras cosas que no conozco bien.
Una antena muy completa, de rpido arranque, portal de configuracin rpido y claro.
En mi caso tengo un cable ethernet desde el router hasta la antena, con un inyector POE entre medias.
Cabe destacar que la antena trae una clavija para alimentarla con un adaptador de corriente, pero desconozco a cuantos V es.
EDIT: 12/2021 compro una segunda unidad, la primera ha salido genial. Muy buena cobertura y estabilidad
Por defecto viene con la IP 192.168.0.50 y debes apuntar a ella para entrar en la utilidad web de configuracin (extensisima y muy buena)
Lo que pasa es que si tu Red no est en ese rango (192.168.0.x) no puedes entrar, y normalmente los rangos de Red local en nuestro pas son otros, como 192.168.1.x,por ejemplo.
Hay que buscar en Internet como solucionarlo y an as hay poca info. Muy mal por dlink. Hay que proporcionar una herramienta de configuracin para todos y de acceso sencillo.
En cuanto a si va bien o mal, no lo s. An estoy en la fase de configuracin, pero en una prueba preliminar obtuve 210 Mbits/s en su Red de 5 Ghz, a una distancia de 1 metro. La conexin a Internet es de 600 Mbits/s. Esperaba ms, pero hasta que no tenga todo configurado no opinar…
Por cierto, para los que vayan a comprar un punto de acceso, este u otro, es tan importante como el punto de acceso el receptor WiFi (integrado en el dispositivo a conectar o en usb) Suele ser un cuello de botella para el trfico de red.

Ya acabe de configurarlo. Ahora puedo opinar. Tanto bajada como subida, 620 Mbits/s (lo que da mi conexin de fibra de Movistar) Le iba a subir de 3 a 5 estrellas, pero lo dejo en 4 por lo dicho antes por la ausencia de info de dLink.
El aparato en s, perfecto. Lo recomiendo. Y no he tenido que parchearlo ni crackearlo ni nada. Dos cositas en el programa de configuracin y listo. Eso s, con buenos receptores wifi en la mquina cliente. Pero me ha demostrado que puede dar esa velocidad, medida con herramienta de Movistar, en Chrome y Win 10.
IN BREVE:
Questo AP svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro, collocandosi sopra la fascia media dei prodotti concorrenti ma senza eccellere. Il segnale wifi decisamente buono, sempre stabile con ottima copertura e buona velocit con il 5GHz (800Mb/s). Lo consiglio per la modalit Access Point, ma non per la modalit Extender.
NOTA IMPORTANTE: Ad oggi considerate le alternative Mesh Wifi, ovvero dispositivi che possono ripetere la stessa rete, senza cambiare il SID (nome del wifi al quale ci si collega). Sostanzialmente avendo un router e un access point Mesh, verr trasmessa la stessa rete wifi da entrambi i dispositivi.
Questo non avviene con il DAP-1665, che trasmette una rete WIFI con SID diverso. Non comporta nulla per la maggior parte delle situazioni, per bene essere al corrente delle novit commerciali al momento dell’acquisto.
CONFIGURAZIONE:
Avendo letto pareri contrastanti, preciso che la configurazione del dispositivo non stata minimamente complicata. Collegato via ethernet ad un PC portatile la configurazione avvenuta esattamente come descritto nel manuale, in tempi decisamente brevi e alla portata di tutti.
CONSIDERAZIONI:
Informazioni sul prodotto pi o meno contrastanti le trovate in tutte le altre recensioni, quindi mi concentro su consigli d’uso e considerazioni di altro genere che mi avrebbe fatto piacere leggere:
Modalit Access Point:
Il dispositivo svolge benissimo la funzione di Access Point, con performance decisamente all’altezza del prezzo (pagato 60 in offerta). Vi faccio presente che la maggior parte dei dispositivi wifi in nostro possesso (smartphone, portatili) hanno antenne wifi non troppo performanti, quindi non si riesce a sfruttare tutta la banda del D-Link.
Nel dettaglio, ho un Galaxy S9 e un portatile aziendale di fascia medio-alta. Entrambi hanno l’antenna wifi con limite di 300Mb in ricezione. Nonostante il D-Link ne eroghi di pi, la velocit massima viene limitata dai dispositivi riceventi. (per i dubbiosi, ho testato il wifi degli stessi dispositivi con il router sorgente, un Fritz 7590 top di gamma. Raggiungono comunque il limite dei 300Mb/s in connessione 5GHz)
Stessa questione per l’utilizzo con NAS.
Per trasmettere ad esempio un film di grandi dimensioni presente nel NAS su un dispositivo come un Android Box, bisogna utilizzare la connessione 5GHz. Ma non a causa del D-Link, che in 2.4GHz comunque eroga 300Mb/s, ma sempre per i dispositivi riceventi che spesso in 2.4GHz non vanno a pi di 100Mb/s. Se non si va in 5GHz il film scatter continuamente, poich non riesce a ricevere velocemente i dati.
AP in Modalit Extender:
Provata solamente per testarla, non sono rimasto soddisfatto delle performance.
Ho messo l’AP dove uno smartphone riceveva circa 110Mb/s. Mi sarei aspettato un segnale trasmesso di almeno 80Mb/s, invece il D-Link ha preso questo segnale, lo ha amplificato e lo ha ritrasmesso con una velocit di 30 Mb/s. Dai 110 in ingresso mi sarei aspettato decisamente meglio
LO RICOMPREREI?
Oggi 08/10/2019 a prezzo intero (80+) no, probabilmente mi orienterei su dispositivi Mesh. In offerta a 60 si, poich un dispositivo analogo di buona qualit con tecnologia Mesh costa dagli 80/100 in su.
Up and running in less than 10 minutes. No issues so far. A couple of comments; black colour should be an option and the length of the cable for the ac adapter could be a bit longer.
amazon ottimo come sempre ! PRO :access point con un design bello ,buona portata non affato malle in un appartamento di 130mq CON :l’istallazione non facile serve una minima conscenza , manca l’alimentatore POE da 48v !
ber das Web-Interface kann man viele schne Spielereien einstellen.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Im Auslieferungszustand hat der AP eine eigene IP-Adresse und DHCP ist deaktiviert. Zur Aktivierung muss man erst z.b. mit dem PC oder Mac in das IP-Netz wechseln und DHCP aktivieren. Anschlieend kann man dann ber den Router dem AP auch eine feste IP zuweisen und ber das Webif konfigurieren.
Der Normalnutzer knnte damit berfordert sein… Daher einen Stern Abzug
It’s by no means a professional access point, but it’s a very good home one. There are plenty of advanced features to have a play with and get the ideal setup for your house.
I’ve got this in the middle of a reasonable sized 30’s detached house with brick walls. Initially there were problems with devices connecting, and the manuals are useless at best, but with time and research it’s very tuneable, and the end result is very good.
I almost sent this back due to not being able to do what I wanted – it’s basicly down to the fact there are no instructions at all and I’m by no means a network expert.
But I’ll buy another soon for the upper part of the house to ensure superb 5g coverage in all parts of the house.
Did not come with power adapter but used a Poe injector.
It’s has the latest wave 2 tech, band steering, array setup etc.
I bought it mainly because it’s minamistic looks and it’s mounted to the ceiling in the hall so it’s very descreat no flashing lights. Looks just like a smoke alarm…
I found it great. My previous situation – a router in one room and ethernet wire routed to an office on another floor where my PC is. From my bedroom on that other floor I had experienced inconsistent WiFi connection. So used I used an ethernet switch box in the study to connect the 1665 and configured the 1665 as an WiFi access point. Now I have great WiFi connection everywhere in the house.

Not as good range as I was expecting, but other than that, it does the job pretty well.
If you are looking for a accesspoint (and not a home gateway/router with wireless) this is a good pick.
This is a very good router it was a vast improvement over the TP-Link that it replaced. The range is noticeably larger and the dual band ability increases speed quite a bit.
I bought this product for my office. The wifi capability in the router provided by my ISP was unreliable. I use this product as a wireless access point.
It was very easy to configure. The instructions are easily understood and quick to read. I plugged my laptop into it, opened a browser and there it was. I ran the wizard and bingo, done. Configuring it was easy. It instantly connected to my DHCP server and all is well. The browser based interface is easy to navigate and understand. Out of the box came the device, power supply, instructions and ethernet cable.
This product will also perform as a Client wifi to ethernet connection though I don’t use it as such. I suspect it would make a remarkably easy to use device to connect a networked printer to wifi. It will also perform as a wireless network extender, though again I don’t use it for that.

I wanted something to extend the range of my wireless signal from my router so I thought this would be perfect. There are three different modes in which you can use this, access point, repeater, or bridge. I initially thought I would use it in repeater mode where I could place it in between my router and a wifi dead zone in my home to extend the range of the signal. However, the signal was much stronger than I realized. Now, I have it plugged in directly to the router and can connect to it from anywhere in the house.
Setup is simple. After screwing on the antennae there is only one power cable and one ethernet cable to connect to the router. There is a card and sticker in the instruction packet that has the default SSID and password. It took under two minutes to setup the entire thing.
Being dual band, it can and will support 2 different wi-fi SSIDs, for example I use the 2.4GHz band for my home automation equipment and the 5GHz band for my phone, tablet, laptop etc.

Bought this after sending back a Netgear AP I’d purchased initially on Amazon.
This was very easy to configure & provides a ‘stable’ connection. The Netgear appeared to have a longer range in my house, but, I’ll happily sacrifice range for consistency any day. Used an extender to cover the remainder of the house 🙂
Setup was simple. I was using it as an AP. Wireless speeds are very good so I’m pleased with the product.
Uso il D-Link DAP 1665 come Extender della mia rete Wifi e a cui ho collegato un PC con cavo Ethernet.
Ho un modem stessa marca DSL3580L con cui dialoga e si connette alla grande rendendo il segnale WIFI ancora pi performante.
Programmazione in pochissimi minuti e molto semplice. Molto positivo il tempo limitato con cui riesce a collegarsi alla rete WIFI stabilita e subito a generare altri due reti in 2.4 G e 5 G.
Fattori negativi del prodotto:
Colore = avrei preferito anche nero;
Lingua menu solo inglese, almeno per quanto ne sappia io;
Possibilit di utilizzare e quindi ripetere solo una rete, 2.4 G oppure 5 G.
Complessivamente consigliatissimo.
PS. Per il servizio AMAZON le stelle sono 5 con applauso finale per i tempi di consegna, confezione di spedizione e informazione di vendita e assistenza al cliente.
