I bought this for my 9 year old. It is very forgiving and incredibly quick. It does take a bashing with normal use, and this is where the customer services are great to replace any faulty parts for the 1st 12 months. I would recommend.

Firstly the customer service (Frank) was brilliant, they contacted me and sorted out a replacement car delivery of both cars was very quick altho the delivery driver is to blame not sales team, the new car is brilliant more responsive with both the throttle and steering, a lot quicker and no need to adjust the steering trim, can’t wait to buy my next deerc car looking and getting something bigge
This RC car is superb, it’s super fast but if you’re new to controlling a fast RC it’s pretty challenging at full speed.
It does need constant attention as it can veer to the left or right pretty quick going fast.
I made all the fine adjustments but when it opens up it’s tough to stay on course.
The construction is good, the top of the car is a thin light plastic mould, that kinda surprised me but I’m new to hobby RC cars.
You pop off the top to see the on switch and battery compartment. Once switched on you put the plastic mould back on and secure with 4 fasteners.
I was super impressed with how fast it went, it would do circles on the spot too.
Battery life: it came with two batteries and each lasted approximately 40 mins, they seems to work full power then die but we are really happy with that duration.
One area of caution though, my controller broke on the steering wheel within a week or so and I was being careful. I think this was just a fluke or unfortunate one off and as such I am still acting with a full 5 star.
I was offered a full refund and I have reordered the RC as my son and I really enjoyed it.

After many hours of research I came across the DEERC 200E. I then did much more research on the model and was amazed that you got so much for the price. I am super impressed with the 3S battery and brushless motor, they provide great speed and zero cogging. Brilliant idea to send out lot of spare parts, really gives the user the option to mend or upgrade the car.
Love the fact it comes with 2 x battery’s and 2 x body shells. This means I can have a nice one and a complete basher!
All in all I think it’s a great car, I would have knocked it to a 4 star due to the fact that the diffs and shocks need lube or grease, but for me it just means I got to get stuck in with the Hobbycraft side of things so I’m back to a 5 star.
I’m getting back into RC’ing after many years away and this is a great place to start again and also a great project for a parent and child.
his is a great truck – powerful and very sure footed – its fast enough to get it into trouble too!!! the radio is ok and useable – i would have liked more range but it is within its stated specs – so much affects signals so this might be a red herring. it sports oil filled shocks and its suspension was well set up and performed really well. battery life (on mine) was superb – i dont drive fast but do a lot of rough terrain and heavy climbing. i got it as 15% off so a great bargain and a great truck!!!

Personally I recon it would of made the corner with real shocks.. My bad tho.
Glued it together good, second crash sent it to the graveyard. Used sticks, zips and glue to re-animate its corpse..

I like that it’s powerful, it won’t get stuck outside, but flys off with small touch and boom hit the wall, wont go straight. And no ON OFF switch, must disconnect battery every time, and its very difficult to do so without removing the shell.

Purchased the Deerc 300e for my sons birthday and it didnt disappoint.The car is great fun and super fast.Had a slight problem with a broken part so contacted Deerc by email and received a quick reply from carol who has sent me a replacement part.Great customer service 5 stars.
Car is good and easy to fix, one of the driveshafts was bent so I emailed customer service and got a quick response and new part sent out next day.
Bought this car for my son for christmas, and he loves it, literally plug the battery in and away you go, but i do think the components could do with being stronger as he clipped a kerb with it and snapped the rear diff housing but that being said i emailed the company and received new parts fairly quickly so 10 mins of my time and he was away again playing, as for the battery life i personally think it last a while considering its a small battery for a brushless rc ca
Great fun for the kids. Very fast and jumps over banks, slides and rights itself after turning over. You dont need to use on full power and the batteries last for 20 mins or so.well made, the shells are very flimsy thin plastic but look good and are perfect as they dont fall to bits after heavy use. Marked down by one star as unable to find any skins or parts to customise. Spare parts imo look to be hard to get hold of.
This RC car is everyone’s childhood dream. It’s fast, mobile, durable and easy to use. The battery life is really good considering how fast and agile it can be. It even comes with 2 batteries which is easy to swap when out and about with the RC car. It also has a speed button so you can control how much power it can put down at a time. I highly recommend this RC car it is great fun with all ages.
Bought as a present for my son who has not been disappointed. The car is very fast but comes with a speed dial so you can slow it down until you get used to it. Needs space to to use it properly and appreciate its speed and capability. Single battery seems to last ages and it comes with 2 so plenty of playing time. Seems to be quite at home on any surface we’ve tried so far. Great little car.
My son and myself Love this car ! We have one each and our house backs onto woodland which the car rips through ! We also have homemade jumps and tracks and the car handles it all very well ! Great fun and brilliant service from the staff at deerc around arranging a replacement part after an unfortunate mishap! Highly recommend
There is only one thing that I don’t like, the main metal gears/cogs could be tougher. Apart from that this rc car/truck is amazing and I totally recommend it.
good battery life, pretty decent for the price, nice set of tools and spares included, but, the steering is off, very hard to drive in a straight line even on a smooth surface
Definitely recommend finding a large open space to get the most fun out of the car as it is very fast, responsive and can travel come distance! Older kids will love driving it, controls would be difficult for younger ones but great for them to watch and chase after!
It was a bit over my budget but I feel is good value with 2 batteries and accessories to keep the car maintained. The car feels sturdy and I hope will last a long time.
The RC car is very well packaged, with a simple box design, giving an immediate impression of quality.
Once opened, you’ll find the RC car with 2 body shells; 2 batteries (only one USB charger – I would have preferred 2 as impatience sets in being able to only charge one battery at a time); a small drawstring bag which contains a decent number of spare parts; and an ergonomic controller.
The instruction manual is simple to understand, and after a few minutes you should be up and running.
The car itself feels quite small initially, but it certainly packs a punch!
The controller has a very simple layout, with only a power button and 2 dials to control top speed and trimming.
The car itself feels light yet solid, has decent suspension and wheels. It has a feel of quality about it which is what you’d expect for the price.
It’s super responsive to the controller input, so is going to take a while to get to grips (I should probably dial down the top speed!).
It’s designed to handle a wide range of terrain, and it does this well. It can take a good beating and still performing spot on.
I’d say for the price you’re getting a great RC car, although I think it is at the top end of what I’d be willing to pay.
