I think I will also give this a careful treatment of a poly-based protectant as she will be displayed out of doors. Several light coats ought to do it.
Update June, 2016:
I have attached 4 pictures that show other angles of this beautiful angel. Also, as it is placed out in my summer garden I had carefully airbrushed multiple clear coats of an all-purpose weather seal. There have been many heavy rains to date; some that have lasted for extensive duration, and the angel has heald up fine, as has the pedestal I purchased seperatly (also through Amazon).
All in all I am very satisfied with the quality of this statue.
If you get this 1882 Monteverde Angel you will not be disappointed, (IMHO).
This is an amazing product made by Toscano. Fast shipping, all clear, absolutely no problems. Most probably I will order other products.
