Always wanted a decent mitre saw and this is a good one! Having bought into the 18v battery Dewalt world, this was a no brainer. It makes light work of decking, framing etc. a recommended piece of kit that actually does what it is intended to for.
I use this tool daily for work along with the stand. Chops through 3×2 and 4×2 all day. Best paired with a 6 amp flexvolt battery and then I might get 2 or 3 days without changing. Had this for 2 years now, and it’s great.

Great saw. So light and portable being cordless. One small disappointment, is there is no feature for trenching. All in all very well made like all dewalt.

Great little saw for moving around a site. I use the larger 54v batteries on it. Came well calibrated for plumb and square. Portable and sturdy. Dust extraction point which works ok for a chop saw cutting mdf etc. Great for light second fix.
Really good piece of kit – would recommend especially if you have other Dewalt 18v equipme

I bought one of these almost a year ago now, and am well impressed. Light, sturdy, yet suprisingly powerful for a cordless piece of equipment. I use it for mitres and bevels mostly in bedroom and kitchen work. It is not for heavy duty work, but for light work it does perfectly.
Powerful, light, accurate and very well made (In Italy rather than the Far East), this saw has performed superbly and dispelled at a stroke the ‘corded is best’ myth. Using 5Ah batteries it seems to last most of the day and it cuts with absolute precision. It was dead-on accurate out of the box and put to work immediately cutting battens. The shadow line laser is superb and shows exactly where the blade tooth will cut unlike the thick lined red beams and the sliding mechanism is both rigid and very smooth.
I have it mounted on a DeWalt 7033 stand (Amazon best price) and it is absolutely rock-steady making it the ideal saw station. The 7033 is the perfect partner to this highly capable and delightful little saw. If you have already invested in the Dewalt 18v battery platform this saw is an ideal and highly competent addition to a range of really excellent cordless tools. I am impressed.
Purchased this item for my husband’s birthday. He was delighted by receipt of this item but reason why I gave it 4 stars is because he has not used it as yet.
