The Dewalt drills are very good in my experience. Effective against all metals and when used correctly will last a long time.

My last set are 8 years old and have lasted well but could resist a new set while on offer.

I was loath to spend 60 on a few drill bits, but after spending literally 100’s buying cheap ineffective drill bits I decided to buy these Dewalt drills and I got to confess that these are well worth the 60 price tag they cut through metal within seconds, these bits are without doubt the best I have ever owned.

Dad and brother bought some makita drill bits for 30. They said I was mad when I spent 70 on these but I came out on top. Every size imaginable and go through anything straight away. While my dad and brother struggle with theirs, I’m flying down without a drop of sweat in sight. The case is rigid and holds all the drill bits nicely. Make sure to keep the box upright though as some drill bits can fall out their designated hole. The makita box has a flimsy plastic cover on the front that has comes off both of their cases. Little tip for those who keep reading – if your drill bit goes wonky/ bent. Drill it into some wood a few times and it’ll straighten right out. Don’t think I’ll be replacing these anytime soo

Excellent drills for wood or metal. The tips are designed to cut their own pilot, holes so the very tip is small, even on the larger diameter drills. This means that it is easy to centre the tip to place the hole acurately.

Case is very good too; it opens out like a book to facilitate access.

My husband was over the moon to receive this for Christmas. He never had quite the right size drill bit for those tricky projects that come along around the house. Now he has every size he needs. I have also converted him from buying less expensive drill bits since starting to buy him the DeWalt bits. He doesn’t complain about the price anymore because he sees how much tougher they are than the competition. If you or your husband do a lot of DIY work then I highly recommend this set.

The company I work for will supply drill bits 4/5 of workforce have chose to buy and use these because they really are that good. Brilliant on stainless when used with cutting compound.

Good drill bits only thing that is the let down is the case, you have to keep it upright otherwise the bits will fall out inside and when you open it up they will fall out.

I bought these drill bits because I was sick of using my old blunt bits. I haven’t used them all yet so I suppose some could snap, however I have been very impressed with how sharp they are. I’ve read some reviews stating you have to be careful as they can draw the drill in a bit too fast. This is accurate; they can draw the drill in very quickly you’re not paying attention.
Overall, a fantastic bit of kit.

Great dewalt quality , really happy with the set . As drill bits go you have a true work horse on stainless cast ext . Will stick my neck out and say as good as my dorma tools
