It did cut the wood. I am very happy with it.
Used 11 times on small jobs of less than 2hrs long, then battery failed. Won’t charge!!
Good price but the manufacturer needs to look at the plate issues at the bottom as not everyone wants to cut at a 45 deg angle every time.
Very nice and useful cordless jigsaw which works extremely well. Now used on several jobs and it’s always performed perfectly.

Update to my initial review, having had this jig saw now for two months and used it a few times for various DIY jobs internal and external I am happy to say that this is a nice little piece of kit and has tackled every job I have done so far with ease and definitely stands up to all the positive reviews it has received, good value for money, versatile, easy to use with two batteries with at least 30mins + per battery for extended use, very happy with my purchase
im not one for doing reviews but this jig saw is so good def needs one i used down at allotment and was cutting thick wood for the fire old decking etc lasted nr all day and cut VERYWELL really impressed bettr then my Makita
The Saw looks good the case is of solid construction, a minor point however the instructions could be clearer
when it comes to putting the blades in hense the 4 star rating.
