The Aster 2 is an ultra-compact, ultra-lightweight pushchair that is designed for maximum convenience. It is incredibly lightweight, weighing just 6.2kg, which makes it ideal for travelling and manoeuvring in tight spaces. I love that it folds flat and can be carried with one hand. It also comes with a carry bag for easy transport.
The pushchair itself is quite sturdy, and I feel confident that it can handle up to 22kg. The adjustable handlebar means that it is comfortable for both me and my partner to push. The reclining seat is also great for my little one, as it can be adjusted to the perfect angle for her.
The Aster 2 also has a MagicFold system, which makes it very easy to fold and unfold in one simple step. This is especially handy when travelling, as it can be easily folded and stored away in the carry bag.
I find the Aster 2 to be a great lightweight stroller that is perfect for travel. It is easy to manoeuvre, comfortable to use, and lightweight to carry.
Using this buggy was a good experience, this is our 4th time round using these things and this is the up there with the best all rounders we’ve used. Build quality is very good and it all seems well thought out. It folds up very tightly and almost squashed down the same as our older yoyo. Comparing it to the yo-yo which is the closest thing we’ve had to it this is better designed in that the reclining angle for the back of the seat is massively better from nearly flat to quite upright. The pockets and storage are better and it holds more underneath.
It’s comfortable to push and we’ve enjoyed getting it in and out of the car as well. It’s not as quick or easy to fold down as the yo-yo but it is easy to use and almost Grandparent proof.
The price is very good for a top notch buggy and it’s great for the footwell or behind the seat in the van.
Easily recommended, it’s a great buggy to travel with.
I couldn’t be more pleased with this Didofy – Aster 2 pushchair. The pushchair is so easy to use, folding and unfolding is just so quick and easy.
The design is cleaver, just a push of the button and MagicFold system folds it down to a compact 47x55x25cm, making fit all but the smallest of spaces, and it has all the usual fittings with the extendable hood, rain cover, cup holder, storage area under the seat.
At 6.2kg the pushchair is light but still capable of carrying up to 22kg, even when carry baby and heavy item under the seat it still runs and turns smoothly on its puncture free tyres.
Overall, this is a well-designed and good quality pushchair. Would I pay nearly 300 for a lightweight pushchair / stroller? Maybe.
I hope you find this review helpful
This pram is good quality , like the fact that is lightweight only 6.2kg .
Is easy to fold and doesn’t take much space is perfect for travelling .
Seat is pretty big and child is comfy on it.
My son is nearly 19 kg and he loves it, max weight is 22kg .
When I reviewed price was 300 although I like it and is very practical is a bit spicy price and don’t thing would pay again this price for it.
Great little buggy bought as gift as the family were travelling with a young one to Australia. I can confirm it was brilliant on the plane with Quantas and United being able to be taken on effectively hand luggage.
So good is the buggy and being used everyday it has now largely replaced the large 3 wheel jogger type buggy they were using (I can’t remember brand) and is used everyday. They have a mini and the bootspace used to be almost all swallowed by the previous one. This gives them back the boot space for everything else you need to take with you with little ones.
to me it seems well built and the reports from the main users have confirm this.
Thoroughly recommended by our family!
This buggy is incredibly easy to assemble out of the box as you only really need to attach the wheels.
It says it’s suitable from birth but I’ll be honest I wouldn’t be happy putting a new born in there. There’s just not enough support in my mind but I’m sure they wouldn’t say it was suitable if it wasn’t!
It collapses incredibly easily and pops up just as well with a bit more oomph. It folds down to a really compact size so would be really helpful for those with perhaps a smaller boot and it certainly will be helpful for holiday!
I’m not overly keen on the footmuff as it just sort of seems to slide on without anywhere to secure it in place but it’s useful to have.
The package includes a rain cover too which is brilliant and I love the fact that little one can lye flat. Again, brilliant for holiday and those days/evenings you want baby to nap but you also want to go for a meal.
I would recommend this and think it’s a good price
I was a little surprised when this stroller came as the box is small. It’s easy to put together as you only have to attach the wheels and the bumper which takes a few minutes.
The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the photos really doesn’t give this stroller justice, it’s far nicer in person than the photos.
Having a small car meaning a small boot also this stroller folds down small and fits nicely leaving extra room for shopping etc.
This stroller is recommended from newborn personally I wouldn’t put a newborn baby in this but would say it’s better suited for babies who can sit unaided ( this is my personal opinion)
The stroller comes with everything needed.
Foot muff for the cold days
Rain cover for the wet days
The hood comes down really low giving the baby shade and also privacy etc
A cup holder.
The stroller is very lightweight and easy to push. The stroller is a decent size and the handle is a good height.
The stroller was very creased but these fell out within a few days.
Extremely happy with the quality and safety of this stroller with the 5 point safety harness and all the additional features.
I would highly recommend
I’m so happy with this pram, it was a superior replacement.
It’s lightweight, easy to fold down and when you fold it down it’s so small, perfect for putting into the boot of the car and travelling in general.
It’s got a basket at the bottom and a cup holder, which are always handy.
It’s a very high-quality pram which reflects the high price.
I highly recommend it.
A good lightweight pushchair for babies and young toddlers
I found the folding up a little difficult at the start as I am left handed, but a few times of practicing did loosen up the chair to get into the car
Folds really compact and fairly slim, so good if going abroad on holiday. In fact if carriers allow, the baby can be taken to the seat and the pushchair folded in hold luggage.
Only weigh 6.2 kg so easy to carry about. This can be seen in the sellers website.
Some good features can lie flat, extendable hood and hand baggage size
Size wise it is suggested to use from birth to 22kg
I like the fact the pushchair has tyres that do not puncture which is great going over unseen pot holes.
Decent suspension
Looks a lot more expensive than it is and the black is gorgeous.
The height of the handle cannot be adjusted
Reclines gradually until completely flat
For the price you do get what you pay for and looks lovely.
I recommend highly
Thank you to the seller
I hope my review helps you
If you’re not bothered by having “popular” brands, this is a fantastic pushchair. It’s lightweight and easy to fold. It’s not a trendy 3 wheeler, but it is well built and robus
As everyone does- I did a huge amount of research prior to buying this. We travel so much and our travel system pram is too big for that. I wanted something that ticked all my boxes (small, lightweight, easy to use, comfortable, basket underneath, good for napping, etc), and this doesn’t disappoint. I was skeptical because it only had 4 reviews when I purchased it, but am glad I took the risk. It’s a very well designed pram, (I have no doubt a mom designed it) with a lot of flexibility. It’s lightweight, folds itself down with the push of a button. The basket underneath carries enough baby stuff for days out, the lie flat back is great for naps, and because of the clever mechanics for the back you can have your baby at any angle. I have a big 5 month old, and there is plenty of room to grow. Easily manoeuvrable through tight spaces, and one handed. The only down side, and it’s with every small lightweight pram- the wheels- cobbled European streets don’t make for the smoothest ride- so I guess more of a road complaint than a pram one. If you’re on the fence about it, I’d definitely recommend it.
*we have travelled on BA and Ryan Air several times and have had no issues fitting it in the overhead or taking it on board.
We bought the Didofy Aster 2 after quite a bit of research. We were looking for a stroller that was cabin baggage size, in particular for Emirates who we fly with a lot. We also wanted one with a fairly high sitting position for feeding and general comfort. We’ve now flown two long haul flights and done a lot of city walking with the Aster 2 and are delighted with it. Being able to wheel baby straight onto the plane is great, what is even more important is that on landing we’ve got the stroller to hand for the immigration and baggage queues.
Had the Aster 2 a few weeks now. It folds down to fit nicely in the back of the car and is a great space saver for when we don’t want to carry the travel system pram with us.
It’s light weight but feels sturdy and is easy to manoeuvre around town. The baby (~4kg first time he sat in it) fits easy enough and there’s lots of room to grow.
Looking forward to trying this out as hand luggage when we travel next.
I did a lot of research on the travel strollers that would fit in the overlocker on planes. I wanted to push my baby up to our seat and then drive off again after landing and not risk the stroller landing in baggage claim as I travel with three children under 4! This stroller is a winner. We just flew Easyjet and it fitted NO problem at all, with even room to spare. And no crew member battered an eye when I said this stroller goes onboard! I chose this compared to the YOYO, because it reclines nearly flat so baby can sleep, it is 3cm wider and and can carry up to 22kg (!) so my 2 year old will also use it. This time I flew with my 6 months old and he was very comfortable in it. And it glides and turns a dream, very easy to manoeuvre, and so much lighter than my Uppa Baby buggy. The a stroller has a sleek design, I chose black and silver. I think it looks and feels more high end than the YOYO. Anyone hesitating, I can only encourage you to buy, I confirm it is an amazing travel stroller. I will probably use it also for quick trips in the city. Not suitable for rough terrain of course, but this is not its purpose anyway. 5 stars! And I received excellent customer service via Instagram. Glad I read and followed The Independent’s ‘Best Travel stroller’ reviews and advice! This is an honest and not sponsored review from a very happy and thankful mother of three.
