I use it all the time and for any occasion, wedding, interview, youtube, whatever you want and they are so small. I always recommend this mic to my friends and subscriber on my channel
Clear sound for my videos. The receivers can store separate soundtracks too. More importantly, wind noise is now a thing of the past. Dead cats provided with the kit see to that. Real quality and easy to use.
All good so far, have used these at two weddings and sound quality has been great. Internal recording is a bonus, though out of the box the audio levels are too low and gain has to be turned up slightly. Very well made and feel very robust compared to my old Rodes mkII. Best thing of all is the charging box, means your mics are charged every time you take them out.
As a professional Narrator, it’s amazed me with this price, functionality and quality!
There is everything that you want to have a safe and easy recording.
The sound quality is nice and crispy, but it’s not comparable with Sennheiser. But!!!.. think about the Price
More info from the obvious ‘charging case, form factor’ which you already know about – I am literally amazed at how versatile these mics are. I started out with a Rde Wireless Go, but sold it as I needed two mics for interviews. .
Secondly, I actually use these for field recording. I bought some 2x Ulanzi MT16 tripod / selfie sticks as they have a coldshoe adapter and I now make super stereo recordings for my videos, placing the mics wherever I need them. That us so powerful
Thirdly, the whole setup is intuitive, easy to program and they have thought of literally everything you may want to use them for.
Fourth, the mic receiver plugs into your computer and show up as a sound card, so I use the Tx for making voice overs so easily, which I do in Davinci Resolve 18.
Considered the Wireless Go II, glad I got these.
Once you update to the latest firmware you can record on each transmitter with the lights off. This was a great selling point for me as the lights are distracting when they’re visible on your subject when they’re on camera. Sound quality is great and touch screen receiver is ideal and efficient for quick recording.
Fabulous product and in my testing I got well over 300 meters but that was in the open countryside on an elevated ground
Bought the DJI mic for when I’m doing videos for wild camping and bushcraft on YouTube. The mic is excellent, the only issue I had was the mic never worked with the Android phone I had. I now have the iPhone 14 and the mic works brilliantly.
Great sound quality, even when i’m 20m away from the receiver and camera.
I LIKE THE design. This change the landscape of technology
These are so compact and versatile. As a professional who is able to ensure the final output is mastered these give me the security, backup audio and flexibility to capture it without concern. The fact this is all placed in a charging case just adds to this. Chose these over the rode go. I’m happy with my choice.
Sound quality is excellent, and as per the title it may be more expensive than other options but you know exactly what you are getting with a DJI product.
Simple things like auto powering on and connecting when you take the Mics out of the case and ability to configure auto record on the mic’s in the event you have an issue on the remote end makes it a great bit of kit of any videographe
Really loving these. The sound quality is great and the battery seems to last for ever.
My only complaint would be that the buttons on the sides isn’t a great idea as it’s so so easy to hit them by accide
Purchased for a specific project I was working on. Always use DJI equipment where I can. Can’t compare against other brands as never purchased them but, more than happy with this and would recommend it.
I am pleased that DJI released this setup, not having to have the two microphones. As someone who us a solo creator, the second mic would be pointless for an extra 60. A really versatile bit of kit.
This microphone is excellent, I’m very happy with it. The only issue I had was when I tried to synchronize my camera Canon EOS M50 Mark II with my Samsung Galaxy tablet and causes lots of noise on the film, so I decided not to use my tablet as a spare screen and everything works perfectly.
This system was bought to assist making You tube videos. it clips onto your clothing and allows you to speak without interference from , road noise, weather, wind, other external sounds. it comes with sound muffs (dead mice). the battery power is good, they last longer than the camera batteries, i would say at least 4 hours. so far have not run them till the batteries died, so can not give a maximum life. having two mic on the same set allow two pepole to talk and present without having to share a mic, also you have the ability to set up different sound envelopes for the two mics. so if you have a LOUD person and a not so loud person, you can set it up so they both talk naturally and yet the sound balance comes out evenly. (saves a lot of post production tweaking).
The case doubles as a recharging unit, so if you are out and about, and they do run out of power, ou can put them back in the case and recharge them ready to go again. the results so far on lour channel have been very good. the sound quality is excellent and the external ambient noise is greatly rduced.
Given the attention to detail in the function, form , and design of these – you could be forgiven for thinking they’re made by Apple.
Firstly, they work extremely well. The UI is awesome, too. Everything you need to find is findable – quickly.
The case design is sublime – you can crack them out, and have them in play in only a few seconds.
They’re designed to be used. That may sound odd, but so many manufacturers leave paper cuts all over the place that just . Add friction. You can choose from lightning or USB-C adapters for the unit to connect, and you don’t need to remove the shoe in order to put the gear back in its case to re charge.
They’re compact. The case is sturdy. Honestly, I can’t think of a bad thing.
If you’re considering these, or the Rode Wireless Go – just buy these. Don’t consider any other options. You won’t be sorry.
