Does a good job of filling a room with decent sound
This product plays music well, but it is not the loudest speaker. Pairing works great and is quite robust. I use this speaker as revenge against my neighbours constant music
Looks great, battery life not as good as it’s predecessor.
Small enough to be easily peaceable, yet produces a powerful, wide-ranged output; especially for those mid and low frequency sounds so often missing from your average transistor radio type sound. Recommended!

Just opened the box, surprised at the quality of the packaging and instructions.
Connected the Bluetooth up to my phone without even reading the instructions. Very easy to use.
Great sound quality, and actually quite loud for a small speaker. Doesn’t lose quality when at full tilt either. Quite impressed so far. Can’t comment on battery life yet, but great start.
The sound is really good compared to some other speakers I brought. However the battery goes pretty quick so every other day I would charge it in my car. After a couple of month it just stopped charging all together and wouldnt switch on.
Love this speaker . I was listening to some of my music I had listening to for years but sounded totally different on this speaker. Heard sounds and instruments I did not hear before. It’s like having a new music collection. Bass that you can feel just like from your old stereo used have only portable. So much sound from such a small speaker. Well worth the little bit more you have to pay
That said, I immediately ran into a problem when I initially set this thing up, it turned itself off after a relatively short time. Although it arrived partially charged, it is recommended that you fully charge it for 3.5 to 4 hours before use. Being eager, I had plugged the Soundbox Pro’s USB charging cable into a USB2 charging port and then started to play my music via it’s aux port. After a few moments it turned itself off, I can only assume this happened because the partial charge ran out and it could not get enough electricity from my USB2 charging port, which I believe is limited to 5 volts only.
So I tried again, this time using a UK Plug/USB2 Wall Charger to supply the power and this did the trick, the Soundbox Pro worked a lot better. The sound become fuller, as the internal batteries charged up, and the speaker became reasonably loud.
When working as intended the Soundbox Pro is loud and music, without “Extra Bass” activation, is detailed, smooth and clear. With “Extra Bass” activated, this speaker “kicks it up a notch” and literally comes alive, the music is still detailed with good mid-range, clear vocals and nice highs but this time with a stronger and livelier bass line.
However, if music is played at low to moderate levels without “Extra Bass” the Soundbox Pro sounds clean and natural with good bass, in fact music sounds better all round. But with “Extra Bass” turned on, the midrange sounds sucked in, the highs become dull and bass notes become blurred and muddy.
Nevertheless, this is such a great little speaker with a great sound that, without a doubt, it’s current popularity is very well deserved.
Still, I found three “gotcha” moments, the first one is if you are outside of Soundbox’s listening area you will loose sound clarity.
Second gotcha, if you want to play music primarily by aux mode, as I do, this device will always revert back to bluetooth pairing mode when switched off.
My third gotcha is a bit more esoteric, I played some music on the Soundbox Pro and another bluetooth speaker simultaneously, I found that the Soundbox Pro played it’s music stream half a second later than the other speaker. So mixing and matching with other speakers, other than Sound Pros, is a no-no.
Overall, this Soundbox Pro is nothing short of brilliant for it’s size and cost, and as long as you do not want to mix and match with speakers from other makers, I would wholeheartedly recommend this with 5 stars, which it is worth for it’s sound quality alone.
We had an earlier version of this which I use for work but loved the idea of having this one in the kitchen, we bought two so they can link and both play together.. big sound from a small box.
Battery does not last as long as others speaker I had but the sound quality is great and there is a handy little voice that tells you to charge the battery
The volume is really good, fills the room and the light display is neat.
I bought a second unit for a workshop I was organising and was worried about pairing the two speakers to give stereo sound. I needn’t have been – it was an easy process and everyone taking part in the weekend event was impressed with the sound quality. Mightily impressed.
Very easy to use and set up. Music loud enough and clear. Good to hold and handle. A very good buy. Might buy another so you can pair up. Watched it on utube and sounds good.
Great sound quality, small and compact with funky lighting while playing music. Use a lot in the garden and on travels – really compact and takes minimal storage space in luggage.

I bought one of these last year.while the music was clear even on max volume it lacked the bass compared to my sony srs300 speaker.so i bought a 2nd one.pairing them together was simple.played some music and i have to say they perform great.the music is sharp.bass is so much better paired.id advise you buy 2 of these speakers instead of one.well done DOSS on a great sounding budget speaker system.its better than the sony now and that took a lot to say that as im a huge sony fan.build quality is amazing .doesnt feel cheap and the lights that flash in sync with the music is cool aswel.10/10 DOSS
The build quality of DOSS Sound Box Pro is excellent, very heavy to carry around. Syncs with Echo Dot easily and plays when requested. The sound quality for music is excellent however I would like a treble control so talk radio is easier to listen to. You can turn the bass up, but not down!
The light display is a gimmick, but some may like it, you can turn it off.
Overall a good product and I would recommend it.
Excellent sound quality for this portable Bluetooth speaker. It moves with me around the house, play music will I do diy via my iPad iTunes and radio apps. The changing led lights provide a nice discoesk feature. I recommend this product and would have needed to spend double the money to get anything else near this quality.
Just got it so can’t properly review battery life. Be good to know if u can use an Apple plug to charge it and also how do u know when it’s charged? Ie light off or what?
During the summer my Wife and I spend a lot of time in the garden. Without going into the Bose bracket these little numbers fill the Order to a tee. Sound is great even at high volume very little distortion. If you can afford it i would highly recomend buying two and pairing them. This works a treat. Very happy with purchase. Arrived on time well packaged. Overall would highly recomend.
It was extremely simple to set up and to get both speakers connected together took 2 seconds. You should note though that whilst the 2 or more speakers do connect together, they both play the same sound ie. it’s not true stereo with one playing left and the other right. But to me that doesn’t matter. It sounded great.
The other reason for purchasing was to connect to my Amazon Echo. I have both an Echo and an Echo Dot and they very easily connect to both. I did read one review that said it won’t connect to the Echo (only the Dot) but it’s simply not true. So now, when I speak to Alexa, I can hear her response and play music via Alexa through the Doss speakers.
The colour option is a really nice touch. I found the flashing to the beat a tad annoying so keep it on solid colour and it looks fab.
I’m not sure what else anyone would want in a wireless speaker because as far as I can tell, this is just great. Does all I want and more.
brilliantly built and great value for money. with out the extra bass its incredibly tinny, with the extra bass button on its just about normal. very good clarity though
The Sound Quality is great. Did not notice any distortion at high volume. The sound is very clear and it produces a great quality of Bass.
For BASS Lovers, there is a button (Extra Bass) which allows you to boost the bass of the speaker and I love it. Overall the sound reproduction and Bass quality of this speaker at this price point is AMAZING…!!

The overall Build Quality is very nice and feels strong. When you take it out of the box it fells quality product. It has kind of rubberish finish which I really like. All the buttons are quality build. Very satisfied with the build quality.
It comes charged and the battery backup is very good. For me it lasted around 12/13 hrs of continuous playing. The led lighting is a great addition. It gives a party feel but you can turn it off if you want to.

Also can be answered phone calls.
Overall its a solid Bluetooth Speaker..! It is really a great product at this price point.!
