Duracell is a gold standard for batteries and their rechargeable batteries are in-line with the quality of their other products. The vendor was fast and the price was good. What else do I need to purchase more?

The last set of Duracell rechargeable batteries purchased have lasted over 10 years although supposed to last only 5. As these were reaching the end of their battery power life and these were on offer purchased a new set. Confident new Duracell batteries will run and run!

They work really well for my Xbox controller and they last like 2 days before needing to be charged up again and you have multiple so you pretty much never run out.

Priced higher than some of the other options but it is worth it. Works for AA as well as AAA, 4charging slots in total. This is helpful when looking to leverage it for a variety of products that need diff batteries

This is a great little fast charger. I can’t make any claims for the length of charge held in the batteries but they do charge remarkably quickly. The unit is lightweight and almost flimsy feeling but is more than fit for purpose. The charge indicator lights are efficient and easy to read. All round very pleased with this purchase.

Best rechargeable batteries I have purchased, they have a really good lifespan and each charge lasts a long time, they charge pretty fast too and especially good value for money.

This product was clearly marked 5 by hand on the packaging yet I paid the amount quoted by Amazon as 7 something. Someone has made approx. 2 profit?? The product was what we wanted!

2 of these batteries were used for my land line phone. I know with Duracell I can relax in the knowledge I have the best of the best working my phone.

You don’t know how long batteries have been sitting on a shelf or in storage, whether it’s an online shop or a bricks & mortar one. So it’s a good idea to check the level of charge when they arrive and top them up with a battery charger – it’s straightforward and quite quick.

Rechargeable batteries are cheaper long-term compared to non-rechargeables, so I’d recommend them wherever possible. Over the decades I’ve found Duracell to be a good make, although they’re pricey – you pay for the known name. I’ve bought these Duracell AA batteries from Amazon several times, no probs so far; this time I bought a second label-printer (one for upstairs, one for downstairs) and it requires 4 x AA batteries. If you want fewer or more than 4, search Amazon as you can buy them in different quantities.

Whenever I buy something from Amazon that needs batteries, I buy the batteries at the same time, so that I can use the item immediately it arrives. It’s very handy to buy batteries that way even though you can buy batteries cheaper in supermarkets. Buying batteries online is handy for those who can’t easily go out to buy them or just to save time; for instance, my main shops involve a round trip of many miles.

Great charger only one thing would be great if they did an updated version that has smart technology to tell you about battery health in more detail and let you know the percentage of charge they hold when left unused.

This is my second one. First one lasted 6-7 years!

    Comes with a long warranty!

Using normal batteries just doesn’t cut it when it comes to my Sony A95K backlit remote. This remote burns through batteries every couple weeks or a month at top but having rechargeable batteries, and ones that are 900mAh is a massive upgrade. I will go months without having to replace them and will already have the other set fully charged. The only downside and this has nothing to do with these batteries, is my Duracell charger can only charge 2 AAA at a time. Overall perfect batteries that will last a long time between charges and that’s all you really need.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks well and charges quickly. My only gripe is that you have to have sets of 2 batteries in it for charging. Many things I use require one battery at a time so I have to scratch around for another battery to pair with it to charge. Even the made-up brand name from China battery chargers have figured out single battery charging so I thought Duracell might also have

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersI actually can’t remember the last time I bought a normal set of non-rechargeable AA batteries as I’ve been purchasing rechargeable Duracell batteries for years now. I have a man drawer with a few spares in that have been charged up so I always have some handy when I need them. Unlike non-rechargeable batteries I find that you don’t get much warning with these before they are nearly completely depleted so it’s a good idea to have a few pre-charged ones spare.

Despite lots of devices using Li-Ion batteries these days I’ve actually found that the number of devices around the house that require AA batteries has increased. Things like digital cameras, remote controls, wireless computer keyboards, wireless mice, console joypads, Oculus Rift touch controllers, children’s toys and even electronic doorbells, to name a few, all still seem to require them.

The nice thing about these batteries is that they arrive pre-charged so they don’t require charging (although I suspect they will not be charged to 100%). They also claim to retain 80% of their change after 12 months if they are not used which is great news for the ones that I have stored in the man drawer. These can also be recharged up to 400 times… if that’s true then these are going to last a long time! Of course it will be difficult to verify these claims for a while but if they fail to live up to expectations then I will update my review. They also come with a 5 years warranty with Duracell – I hope I never need to use it!

These seem to be genuine batteries and look like the real thing. I used a couple of them recently (for Oculus Rift touch controllers) and they appear to be working fine so I have no complaints so far!

    Pros:
    – Amazing value compared to regular non-rechargeable batteries
    – 2500mAh so should be good for more demanding devices
    – Batteries come pre-charged (although unlikely to be 100% charged)
    – Hold their charge when not in use (i.e. 80% of charge after 1 year)
    – Can potentially be recharged up to 400 times
    – 5 year warranty
    – Better for environment than non rechargeable batteries as you are reusing them repeatedly as opposed to disposing of them (batteries are full of harmful chemicals and heavy metals).
    – WAY cheaper from Amazon than the local supermarkets (nearly half the price)

    Cons:
    – Perhaps a little expensive when compared to non-rechargeable batteries but they really do pay for themselves after a few charges.
    – You get very little warning when the batteries are running out of charge. Always a good idea to have some on standby.

    Neutral:
    – As with any rechargeable battery it requires time to recharge
