Very fast delivery.
Over 2 days since it last saw a charger and still 43% left!
Over had OnePlus 3 & 6 for my last 2 phones so the OS is similar. Finger print and face unlock are instant.
Very impressed.
So in recent months I have had the opportunity to use Samsung S22/ultra , Google pixel 6 pro and the RealMe GTpro2. The best of the lot is the experience I’m having with the GTpro2, yes the only niggle is wireless charging but I’m not one to use this feature on a regular basis. The 5000mah batt is excellent if you make further changes to power saving options you can really make the battery performance even better. The Price is the biggest pull as I have everything that I could need and I have paid a fraction compared to the Samsung, and I’m getting more than I paid for the pixel6 pro 128gb which was full of bugs and glitches. The software on the GTpro2 is very similar to the stock Android on pixel 6 pro 2 and it will be backed by security updates for the next 3 years. This is often only found on the premium prices phones. The design is great and camera is also very very good. Overall I’d recommend this phone to all.
Great screen, perfect for watching Netflix and gaming, not overheating issues.brightness is very good outdoors. Camera is very good and microscope is a nice addition The refresh rate doesn’t seem as good as my previous OnePlus 8 despite it having 120htz compared to 90 on the oneplus, I am hoping an update improves this. Overall very pleased with this.
Despite having a 5000 sized battery, I have found myself having to charge in the evenings at times. However you can get a full charge with the charger provided in about 15 to 20mins. Incredible!
My main criticism is the overheating. Not sure if it is because of the hot weather recently or my case (I have tried different ones) but the phone does heat up more than I would like (and I don’t play games on it)
Otherwise great phone and great value for money. I will always recommend some of these Chinese phones that offer more bang for your buck than Samsung, Sony or Apple
Upgraded from a Samsung s8. This is nice and fast. Has a lovely big screen, a decent camera and a great price for the spec. Would cost over a grand from other companies. (It has the latest Snapdragon processor same as the Samsung s22) Also has super fast charging and a better battery than the s22. A very good choice of phone and I’m more than happy with i
As both Realme and Oppo is from the same BBK brands there are quite a lot of similarity between the two brand and device. The punch hole cam at the same location, the software is nearly identical even its called different. In performance the Realme of course out performs the Oppo due to the new SD gen1 chip, however it is a hot chip. Quite often the GT2 pro got hot only being on Facebook for about 30 minutes. The battery life is also better on the Realme compared to the Oppo even so I have the auto refresh rate on the Realme and the Oppo been forced to 60hz. The battery can be further extended forcing the refresh rate to 60 on the Realme too. I would love to see 90hz though, giving us the better refresh then standard but also better battery life
Im not a big gamer but as other YouTube reviews pointed out and I also mentioned before the new Snapdragon chip is really hot, so if anyone planning to game on this I suggest to get a smartphone cooler. Look around on Amazon, there are plenty available.
The only area where the Oppo is outperforms the GT2 pro is the cameras. However the GT2 pro is doing good pictures the Oppo is doing as good as my iPhone 13 pro max.
Over all Im happy with the device works as expected no issue I can report. So far I think this is the best cheap flagship of 2022.
For the money you’re getting everything you would expect from a smartphone, but it’s better in my opinion than what you would pay over 1000 for.
If I REALLY had to push myself to have 1 con, though it’s hard as the phone is perfect, I would say that having wireless charging would be a bonus but in no way a dealbreaker.
Honestly I’m now sticking with RealMe as my new phone brand!
