Die Lampe ist sehr hell und hat eine extreme Reichweite. Die Lampe ist zwar etwas schwer die Technik und der Akku mssen ja irgendwie verbaut werden. Daher muss man das Gewicht eben in Kauf nehmen, wenn man eine Lampe mit dieser extremen Lichtleistung haben will.
Den Preis finde ich etwas berhht.
Eine Beleuchtung der Taster, damit man die Tasten im dunkeln besser findet wre eine echte Aufwertung, zumal ja die LEDs fr den Akkustand eh schon dort plaziert sind.
Insgesamt aber eine super Lampe

io l’ho pagata 227 euro su amazon, ma ho visto che l’avete messa anche a 210 per pochissimo tempo, poi e’ risalita a 248!!!

All I can say is holy WOW I’ve had led lensers klarus torches but this one totally blows everything out of the water as I work in security for many years and went through a lot of torches but wow this is so bright I was amazed how bright it was on full it makes my life so much easier doing my job with this torch absolutely 5*****

My primary use is lighting up the way when walking my dogs. The flood beam on this is perfect for illuminating the full width of the path ahead for a distance of several metres – and that’s on the lowest setting. Turn it up to the max and you not only make a forest path as light as day, you get a nice handwarmer too. After emerging from the woods, the spot beam is perfect for picking out a dog 300m away on the far side of the meadow. This is a beast.
I usually use it on the two lowest settings, finding the output more than adequate, but it’s nice to know you have all that power in reserve. I’ll guess it’s used for around 45 minutes every day and the battery lasts a good couple of months on a single charge. I have had experience with one of those 30,000 lumen monsters (borrowed not bought) and the battery life was paltry (It didn’t last the length of the walk). The beam it cast was far too bright and I struggled not to blind anyone I encountered.
A final plus point. I had a small issue with it and I contacted Fenix (uk). They were very helpful and sorted me out straight away. Excellent after-sales.
Drawbacks? I suppose the size is about the only one. Don’t buy this if you want to carry a torch in your jeans pocket. It will just fit in my coat pocket, but in my book, I’ll live with it’s bulk all day (or night!) long to enjoy the beam and battery life.
This torch oozes quality and if you’re contemplating getting it, you won’t regret going for the LR40. It really is the dogs doodahs
I hear they have an 18,000 lum but this 12,000 lum is more than you will ever need.
It turns night into day with the flood light and the throw light is unbelievable for distance.
It does get a bit hot in your hands…….
I have 20 acers in Montana, my dog, deer and bears….I can see them all at night.
Cons – bit heavy, on off buttons don’t illuminate in the dark so as it spins round in the grip can be hard to relocate the buttons. Expensive. Don’t let these put you off though as it’s amazing.
I got a Semlos off Amazon last year and I thought it was an amazing torch for 39.99, lights the whole area but hadn’t got throw. I recently bought the Fenix LR40R after seeing video clips of its spread and throw and thought wow! Expensive but bit the bullit and went for it. The selling point of it is that two buttons, one for spread, one for throw or both together. The picture with throw was on an early murky dark morning so visibility not brill but shows the light beam off. In the spotlight are sheep 150 yd or more away. The other two showing spread are on a clearer morning. Another thing I like is the pouch supplied with it so on my belt ready for action plus wrist strap so as not to drop an expensive piece of equipment 10/10
It has a good range of output levels and you can use it with just the floodlight, just the spotlight, or both together. Both functions are excellent with very good runtimes at everyday useable output levels.
Unlike some, the torch is very well ventilated and does not get noticeably hot at everyday levels.
It has a USB-C charging socket and can be charged quickly with the appropriate charger.
The battery pack is easily replaceable by another pack, or by separate batteries if desired.
I think it scores narrowly over the Olight Marauder which is a similar price range because that torch does not allow you to use both floodlight and spotlight together, and the battery pack cannot be replaced.
Clearly the torch is not cheap but you do get what you pay for in my view. A bright, very well made, sophisticated and flexible unit. I would definitely recommend it.
The floodlight is fantastic and even the single led spotlight has plenty of range. The only negative I have is that it’s a bit hard to feel the buttons in the dark.
I spent many hours reviewing which torch I wanted, this was a little too much for what I wanted to spend. Then a discount of 90 appeared so that was it, job done.
A great torch with both spot and flood beams which can do used independently or together. Battery level indicator is very useful. Well made quality bit of kit which should last a long time. Only one downside the spot light could be a little brighter.
WOW! It is like turning on the sun. Well worth the money. It is like a search and rescue floodlight.
1. Die billig wirkende Gummiabdeckung ber der Ladebuchse.
2. Das Benutzer-Interface: die Lampe geht bei Knopfdruck nicht sofort an und aus, sondern lsst sich eine halbe Sekunde Zeit. Wenn man da beim Ausschalten nicht dran denkt, schaltet man sie mit dem Knopfdruck heller statt aus.
3. Das Holster. Darin steckt die Lampe mit dem Kopf mach oben, was beim Rausnehmen ein Umgreifen erfordert. Auerdem liegt die Glasabdeckung ber den LED im Holster vllig ungeschtzt frei. Das Holster ist also wirklich eine totale Fehlkonstruktion.
Ansonsten: schne Lampe, auch mit nur einem einzigen Standardakku betreibbar, als Powerbank nutzbar, und sie steht sicher auf der Endkappe, sodass man sie auf den Tisch stellen und mach oben leuchten lassen kann. Ebenfalls gut: im Gegensatz zur neuesten Olight Marauder hat die Fenix keine schnell verkratzende Plastik-, sondern eine Glaslinse.
This torch is a bit pricey but it is quality I use it every night on dog walks
This torch is unbelievable, the lowest setting is more than enough to light up an evening walk, and on the highest setting it is literally like daylight.
I love this torch. I don’t do search and rescue.. I don’t trek in the dark. But when I use a torch I want it to work well. And I can confirm this lights up my whole garden at night. I even use it in the day and it brightens up the room for DIY jobs.
It’s a lot of money but will last a lifetime. If you ever breakdown in the countryside you will be glad you invested in this torch.

Das einzige Manko ist, dass ich im Dunkeln die Taster nicht finde. Ich muss irgendetwas applizieren, um den Daumen in die richtige Richtung zu fhren. Ansonsten eine klare Kaufentscheidung. Der Akku pack ist separat erhltlich (90.-). Die lanyard ist sehr dnn.
Das Gassi gehen macht nun noch mehr Spa/ Achso: Stumpf blendende Autofahrer auf Nebenstraen machen das pltzlich nicht mehr sehr lange …
Ich habe eine TK75 mit 5100LM die ist TOP. Ich dachte die LR40R setzt da noch einen drauf.
Leider ist die Lichtverteilung eher was fr Kurzsichtige. Wer auf kurze Distanz einen Fussballplatz beleuchten will super. Aber in der Lnge naja geht so. Ich habe aber jetzt eine mit 20000LM gesehen deren Lichtkegel wohl eher
der TK75 entspricht. Dann werde ich wohl nach knapp 1000 fr Lampen endlich am Ziel sein.
Man mu erst dreimal schauen bevor man kauft.
Scheuen sie sich allerdings nicht davor Abends einen Waldspaziergang einzulegen sind sie im Wald mit dieser Lampe der Weltmeister aller Klassen. Wofr braucht man so ein Monster ? – Im Grunde nur als Hhlenforscher. Allerdings gehren sie zu den Menschen die sich extrem fr Hightech begeistern knnen, so mssen sie dieses Mnnerspielzeug einfach haben. Fazit: Eine toller Hochleistungssuchscheinwerfer, aber sie wollen nur mal so eben mit dem Hund ? Dann sind sie auch mit meiner am Anfang erwhnten Worx 503 bestens bedient. Aber….. man kommt auch mit einem Trabbi ans Ziel. Porsche fahren ist allerdings die Steigerung der Fortbewegung. Htte mir vor Jahren einer erzhlt es gbe mal Taschenlampen in dieser Helligkeit htte ich ihn ausgelacht. Dies ist aber auch nur aufgrund der Hochleistungsakkus und der immer besser werdenden Hochleistungs LEDs mglich.
Ich war voller Vorfreude diese Taschenlampe mit ihren Max. 12000 linen auszuprobieren.
Wie bereits bei meinen 2 vorherigen Taschenlampen von fenix kann ich nichts schlechtes ber diese Taschenlampe sagen.
Sie ist sehr gut verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand.
Ihre Helligkeit ist enorm und ihre Reichweite bertrifft meine Erwartungen total.
Dies wird nicht meine letzte Taschenlampe von fenix sein.
Trovo comoda anche la custodia da mettere alla cintura.
Le prestazioni sono quelle che mi aspettavo avendo visto varie recensioni su youtube, ma solo dal vivo si percepis e l’intensit del faacio luminoso.
La torcia scalda molto quando al massimo ma niente che ne impedisca l’uso.
The TK72R is an excellent torch – amazing floodlight beam.
What appealed to me about this was its combination of flood and throw beams.
Generally I use on floodlight to see my way. But if I want to spot something further ahead – say a passing deer or a fox – I can enable the throw beam.
The TK72R I found could only cope with being on 2200 lumens if used for more than 5 minutes – otherwise it got very, very hot and the brightness was lowered. So mostly I kept it on 2200 lumens.
The LR40R can maintain being on level 3 ( 3000 lumens ) for as long as I need. And I would say it doesn’t get quite as hot at that level. Difference in brightness between 2200 and 3000 lumens is marginal. So for practical use they are the same long term max brightness.
On flood the beam pattern of the two torches is pretty similar.
Both go very bright on max flood beam.
But where the LR40R wins is the throw. Its an exceptionally narrow beam and can illuminate an area probably 3 times as far as the max flood on the TK72R.
If you only need a flood beam and have no use for throw then either torch works – though the LR40R seems to stay cooler than the TK72R.
But if you need throw and flood in the same torch – this is the dogs gentleman’s bits.
