Fenix PD25R operation:
Half press the tail switch to momentarily switch on the light. Release to switch off
Fully press the tail switch (click) to switch on the light constantly. Fully press to switch off
With the torch switched on, tap the side switch to cycle brightness levels. Eco, Low, Mid, High and Turbo
The mode memory will remember your brightness level when the torch is switched off
With the torch switched on, hold down the side switch to enter Strobe Mode. Press the side switch to exit Strobe Mode

I’m a prison officer and use this for roll check and when out patrolling the units and grounds. I’ve had this for a year now and yes it’s expensive but I’ve spent 25 year’s buying cheap torches that eventually pack up hence spending a bit more and getting quality. It’s bright, it charges quickly and holds that charge for age’s. It’s easy to change modes, it’s easy to operate and I can’t recommend it enough. My advice, spend more and it will last for age’s!!
There really isn’t anything not to like about the PD25R.
Build quality is typical Fenix perfection. The charging port is accessed by unscrewing the body, very slick and well protected. Side switch lights Red when battery is low and green when charged.
Illumination is quality and tail switch is great for momentary or constant light, side switch adjusts power of beam.
The clips spot on as you can use it two ways which is a nice feature.
Epic little torch and its replaced my PD35 permanently.
Oh and it comes with a holster that isn’t pictured on here?

E’ sicuramente la piu’ equilibrata torcia personale che ho avuto negli anni.Si carica con la presa usb in meno di un’ ora.Accetta anche le cr123 in caso non si abbia a disposizione la corrente .I 5 settaggi sono intelligenti. Non perde la ricarica nemmeno dopo mesi di scarso utilizzo.Al contrario di altri marchi che pubblicizzano 1000 o 2000 lumen che poi durano 1 minuto .Torcia seria e compatta per chi ci capisce.Ottima

I know it’s a bold statement to say this is the best but as a collector who owns (or has owned) over a hundred flashlights, this one ticks all the boxes.
Yes, there are much brighter flashlights out there but they tend to be much larger. I own both the Fenix LR80R and Olight X9R flashlights but there is no way I’m carrying one of them ‘just in case’. I have been carrying an E35 v3 daily for quite a while and although it’s a little heavier/longer it seemed to suit what I needed. However I recently saw an advert for this and thought I’d give it a go.
It is small enough to carry in my pocked daily, it has a battery indicator, it has a very simple UI (button at back for on/off) and then a small button to cycle through modes) and most importantly, charges via USB-C under a waterproof, screw down metal bezel, no more rubbish rubber port covers etc.
All in, I cannot recommend enough.

und vor ALLEM 2 Schalter zur Bedienung der Modi wer sich mal durch die undurchsichtigen Schaltungen diverser Hersteller klicken musste , wird das lieben !
