Fitted well enough. It came out further than our cupboard for the screw so had to improvise with corner braces underneath.
Works as required. Easy to switch to internal circulation. When attaching the charcoal filter it pushes the mesh grate out ever so slightly which is a shame – had already chopped the plug so too late to return.
Non removal plug so had to chop and rewire.
Previous replacements have all lined up with the existing screw holes. This one did not and marking the points required for the new holes was really a three man job with two holding it in place and one marking. It can be screwed through other holes but if you are screwing up into a unit above you will struggle to get a strong screw that is short enough not to go through the shelf above.
I ended up drilling two holes through the sides (Hard to get the drill started where you want) and into the side of the sheles in the adjacent units. managed that with no shelf splitting so finall good to go.
The fan is a bit louder than the one it replaces but we will get used to that.
Big problem is that I now find out that there are no replacement carbon filters available (replace every three months) Amazon says they don’t know when stocks will be available (shiiping from China I presume)
