Fluke T90 Voltage & Continuity Tester, Yellow

Fluke T90 Voltage & Continuity Tester, Yellow

Fluke Two-pole Voltage and Continuity Testers
Designed according to both regulation HSE GS 38 (tip caps) and IEC EN 61243-3:2014 to verify the absence of voltage – even with discharged batteries.
CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 690 V safety rating
With 4 ways to indicate the presence of voltage – LED indicator, LCD display, audible tone or tactile feedback, always know if hazardous voltage is present (digital display on T130, T150, vibration indicator on T110, T130, T150)
Fluke T90 Basic Voltage and Continuity Tester
The compact Fluke T90 Voltage and Continuity Tester gives you fast test results the way you need them in a slim design. Large, easy-to-use buttons, bright backlit LED indicators and clear audible indicator give quick results in any work situation.
Fluke’s two-pole voltage and continuity testers are built to work the way you work. They give you the best combination of safety, ease-of-use and fast answers available anywhere.
- Dual insulated cable tested to 3x the required bend angle provides increased reliability and durability.
- Switchable load: avoid display of ghost voltages allowing you to draw more current from the circuit under test and avoid trip residual-current devices (RCDs)
- Backlit graduated scale and backlit indicators
- Improved probe docking for secure storage.
- Single-pole phase test offers fast identification of live conductors.
- Push-on probe tips, probe tip protector and storage accessory.
- Tip protector serves as an extra hand when opening UK electrical safety outlets.
- Low battery indicator.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Very happy with it.
Works well enough. I’m not electrician but sometimes I have to test for low voltage and continuity. This tester does the job.
Fluke quality as you’d expect. Simple to use when testing that circuits are dead.
I am sorry I don’t have the photo with me at hand but I would recommend this equipment.
A great safety edition to the toolbox, works great
Disappointing didnt come with a protective case
Ideal to stick on my bag for boiler breakdowns, easy to use and test for voltage and continuity. And compact enough to take up less space in this wee bag than my main multimeter Does.
I have had loads of volt pens for years but you can’t really put in fath in them. Now with the t90 fluke I can work away knowing for 100% that it’s safe to work on a circuit in work. Great bit of kit. The ac and dc function is very handy. Also it will tell you if the circuit is still live with one touch.
Excellent tester, easy to use lets you know if the circuit is live or dead, in addition you have a good clear read out of voltages and an audible test before starting any jobs , just unpack and you are ready to go. Arrived before time well packaged, very pleased with purchase and service provided.
Very well made and as per usual with FLUKE extremely well designed for intuitive and safe operation. Sheesh I sound like a FLUKE salesperson, but I’m not.
One of the most important things with electrical testers is that they are simple and safe and fast. You really don’t want anything complex, that just increases the chance of a mistake and literally death. You unpack this and it’s ready to go. No buttons to press, no on switch, no range, nothing. It’s just there and ready. It works out whether you need voltage or continuity testing and you are always safe. There is nothing for you to do other than use it and take readings. There are no switches. It indicates voltage if there is one and does a continuity test if there is no voltage present.
There is an instruction sheet, or in fact a huge wad of them, since they did one in every conceivable language and decided to include every single one in every single box, lol, but really one quick read and you realise there is nothing to learn lol.
My only reservation is that I would have liked it to have a crocodile clip for the negative lead. It does have fat probe contacts that screw over the small ones.
I would just like to point out that Fluke seemed to have changed the continuity test because one reviewer complains there is no beep for one second. That’s no longer true. The unit beeps immediately and is a slow beep for continuity and a very fast beep for voltage.
One thing that is really handy is that it beeps when in contact with 240V even when the -ve is not connected to anything.
The probe cover also has a tab on it for depressing the earth shield in standard UK sockets. That is really handy. The probes are also spaced so they fit directly in to a UK mains socket. Again, very handy. Typical Fluke, a very well thought-out piece of kit. They are expensive but really they are just so well thought-out that they are worth it.
As I had not had much knowledge on testing much going from mechanical to electrical. These are absolutely idiot proof and I wouldn’t start any job now without taking them with me
If you know the basics of household electrics and want to test household electric circuits then this is a worthwhile buy. But if household electrics are beyond you then at least get yourself a volt alert detector and a socket master tester to see if you have a supply problem – before calling an expensive electrician to tell you that the fuse needs changing or, worse, to change a fuse before claiming for other work not done plus the usual call out fee.
THIS IS THE SECOND OF THIS TYPE OF TESTER I HAVE HAD AND IT IS THE BEST ONE I HAVE EVER HAD.IT DETECTS VOLTAGE WITH ONE PROBE ONLY WITHOUT NEEDING A NUETRAL CONNECTION OR AN EARTH
Can’t fault the test meter works well no problems
Handy screw on ends that fits crocodile clips
With a holder fixed to the cable .
My only problem with it was the sixteen diffrent A3 paper language sheets what a waste of paper . I’m sure a small USB or SD cards would
Better and reusable or online registration with downloadable instruction/data sheet. Or a single sheet pictorial instructions&data sheet
Would reduce paper waste
Environmentally responsible
If you are going to get hands on with wiring and electrics, get this tester.
