The only problem with it is assembling the grass box. Best thing to do is put the two parts on a table then press together from there.
The real answer is to put a little bit of Vaseline onto the bayonet parts that slide into the slots. You will find they slip in a lot easier than all the pushing and panting required without lubrication. This goes for a lot of assembly work: lubrication is an essential part of it all.
What spoiled it was the difficulty of assembling the grass box, other from that I was very pleased with the product.

Great little mower suitable for me and her. Had for 2 years cutting twice per week during the growing season. Nice lines on lawn as shown. Only downside is grassbox viewing window gets dirty so you can’t see how much is in it.
Mower motor stopped working in a puff of smoke in summer 2021 so 4 years life, still not bad for the price.
As the person puttinng it together has dementia it was hard to follow. Can it not come completed with just the handle to unfold and lock in place and the box just to attach at the back. Just a suggestion.
Arrived a day before than expected, and very easy to assemble and brilliant at cutting the grass and like the way is has a little window to show you if it’s needs emptying
Bought this for my 83 year old mum as her gardener isn’t working during the current pandemic. I haven’t used a lawnmower in many years as my hubby does ours with our petrol mower which I can’t even start. This one however once put together which didn’t take very long is so easy and light to push ( as long as you have the adjustable blade at the right height if the grass is quite long ). I made it look so easy, she thinks she might have a go herself. She will need a decent extension cable though as her garden is longer than average. Picks up well and easy to empty/clean afterwards. A great little mower from first use.
I looked at quiet a few mowers, for my small garden, wanted a really good one for the money and wanted stripes! This mower handles really nicely, not too noisy, pretty powerful and does indeed provide stripes, great value, worth the purchase. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the handle does not have a quick release fold down, which is a pain when you do not have a big shed or garage to put it in! Easy to assemble BTW.

Light and easy to use, small and neat for all those little corners, and with a great overall finish to my lawn.
I would recommend this product for anyone with a small to medium sized garden. It would be effective with a larger lawn too but obviously a larger lawn would be better to have a larger blade width.
Good value & quick delivery. Bought this when our 25 year old Flymo went wrong. It’s a bit narrow for our lawn but it did a reasonable job. Managed to get a new part for the old one & it works like new. Will keep this as a spare.
My lawn is small. This makes quick work of it. The attached hard grass clipping container is great as the clipping can easily be moved to compost. There is no strain on the back due to its low weight. It is wired so plan accordingly.
A nice light weight mower, small and easy to store. I believe it’s best suited to small gardens. A little back heavy so front has a tendency to light slightly as grass collector fills. I’d like a detachable power cable and one that is at least 3m longer
Cons: Power lead is not very long and is hardwired into handle, so can’t be easily replaced
Pros: Light weight, cuts well and at lowest setting the result is neatly cut lawn.
I personally found assembly a bit fiddly but that said I was up an running within an hour. The grass box holds plenty of cut grass and the rear roller really does put a nice stripe up the lawn.
I personally would have liked another metre of cable.
I am so happy with this lawnmower! I chose it after studying reviews for various models and this one appears perfect. Yes, as some have said, the cord is only 10m so it wasn’t even long enough for my tiny garden but I now have an external extension cord and all is well. Yes, as some have said, assembling the grass-box is a little fiddly but even I managed it with a little patience!
It was simple enough to assemble (even for a 50 year old woman 😉 ) I did use a YouTube video for a little extra guidance! The mowing height is simple to adjust – vital for a new lawn. It does a beautiful job and little trauma for me or the lawn. The grass-collecting is incredibly efficient – no after-sweeping needed. The grass-collection box is easy to remove and empty. With the vision window it’s easy to see how full the box is. I must say the mower did tip a little with the weight of a full collection box so I will make sure I don’t let it fill too much. The mower has a rear roller to create stripes. I didn’t quite create a ‘bowling-green’ standard but that was more down to me than the mower. This is my first powered mower and I am a little cack-handed so I spent a lot of time maneuvering it and faffing around with the cable but I can imagine I’ll get better with practice. It feels safe as to start it you also have to press an extra on-button as well as the power levers on the pushing handle. It’s not flimsy – it feels sturdy enough to survive years of mowing but I am still able to lift it and put it away. As expected it doesn’t quite reach up to my fence and I’ll still need my trimmer to do these edges.
Overall I am over the moon with it and feel I have made an excellent choice. It coped very well with my overgrown lawn and caused no damage to it or me!

Good value and ease of use. Lightweight mower which gives a decent neat cut with adjustable heights. Even gives your lawn stripes for nicer finished appearance. Power is very good and gives confidence in tackling most lawn cuts. Was going to get a cordless mower but pleased I went for this one instead as it feels reliable and will not lose its cutting power.
Very pleased I bought this. It’s so much easier to use than the hover mower I had before. Being wheeled it’s so much easier to push around the lawn particularly on those areas that aren’t as level as they might be. It gives a good cut and leaves nice stripes when done.
So good I bought 2 – by mistake. Upgraded version of my previous and loads better.
This mower is for small to medium lawns and it also leaves a nice circle cut I’d you start at the middle of your lawn or you can do diamonds squares in fact just a straight cut with just lines it’s up to you to decide but this mower won’t let you dow
This lawnmower was a replacement for my previous flymo lightweight lawnmower that lasted at least 10 yrs. The new mower is slightly lighter so easy to get in and out of the shed. The cut is exactly the same and a great improvement is the viewing window in the collection box
Had a little problem putting the collection box together – good old bash sorted it out – rest of it was easy

Easy to use lawn mower. Ensured I removed the blade and put it back on before use to make sure I can remove it in the future. The height adjustment is very easy compared to previous mower. Five different high levels and basic roller to give lines when cutting. Even on high setting still seems to pick up most of the cutting
My first Electric mower, got fed up constantly stripping down my Mountfield mower, no need for instructions to put this together in 2 minutes flat it’s that simple, very lightweight, grass collecter works great, my only complaint is the lead is too short for my garden, height adjustment is quick and simple, bargain for on 50 ukp
Excellent lawnmower and a great cut from first time, everything was easy to assemble except the grass collection box which was time consuming, but after 20 minutes I was cutting the lawn, the 6 different cutting heights are excellent as is the view box viewing the grass cuttings
It went together fairly easily.
It’s easy enough to use and seems to do a good job.
I was gutted when the price dropped by 20 the day after I bought it as I’d already used it otherwise I’d have sent it back and re ordered. But to be fair (initially) I was pleased with my 75 investment, but do look around as there’s many other similar quality mowers around for less money.
I was so fed up with heavy mowers, so bought this and am really pleased. no pulling of my back, cuts brilliant, leaves stripes if thats what you want. Grass box can be a bit fiddly to put together, but over all a really good value for money mower.
Compact and easy to use. Just right for a small to medium lawn. A little tricky to assemble, particularly the grass container. Otherwise, very pleased with the product.
with it apart from one thing — The roller at the rear tends to flatten the grass, so I
removed it and now the lawn looks perfect. This is a very nice machine. Buy one.
It does perform great lines with the rear roller and it does cut right up close to the edge. I haven’t used the height adjustment yet! But I’m sure it will work well. It clollects and compacts the grass really well. It is very light and easy to manoeuvre and carry. The cable is longer than I thought it would be but I did need an extension for the rear, but I knew I would anyway.
I definitely made the right choice when buying this mower as it suits my needs. So yes I would recommend this mower, you will be pleased with the performance.
In the same area I normally get half a bucket of grass and leaves etc, I this time got 2!! full loads collected by the flymo.
I was testing this mower in quite wet conditons – no problem – the motor is easily strong enough for a good height of wet grass. And it funny enough didn’t clog up.
All in all – highly recommended
Update: September 2019: We killed the Lawn Mower – Mower not to blame. It is probably not thought to be crushed by a car….. So we got the same one again! We are very happy with the performance and within the Warehouse Deals we again got it for a very fair price! And remember : keep the Lawnmower well away from Teenagers driving a car…. or better: – backing into your drive!
