Looks great, works well. Simple to install. Be aware there’s a weight underneath the sink that needs space to rise and fall as this is what allows you to pull the hose out.
My 15 year old tap broke so this was a replacement. I had a plumber install it so can’t say how easy it was. The tap itself looks lovely. I love the pull out & retractable hose for showering stuff. Great value for money.
This is a great tap very easy to instal once you get your old one out, and works extremely well just make sure you have space for the counterweight to move freely up and dow
Bought one for the kitchen and one for the utility room. Looks great, very solid build, black matt finish doesn’t look like it’ll chip out flake and functions prefecture as per video. Would recommend.
I am very pleased with this item, I have no negative comments at all. Good value for money and a nice looking tap. Just had to buy a couple of extra fittings to connect them up which was not too difficult a task for my cousin.
Very good product and sits beautifully on the sink. 2 minor issues. 1st. It hangs very low on the sink so difficult to wash larger items like pots 2nd the switch to change between stream and spray when going from spray to stream more often than naught does not fully work and have to do it few times. H nice 4 sta
I struggled a little bit removing my old tap from the pipes and then when freeing it from the sink had to cut the pipes to get it out, but once that was done, connecting this one was very easy. I’d never fitted a tap before so wasn’t 100% on what to expect, but if you’re fairly competent you won’t struggle.
The tap itself is great, in as far as it works well, smooth action, etc. Having looked at at other taps, I’d expect this to be more expensive than it was. Easy recommendation.
The tap looks and functions great however I expected the spray nozzle to clip back in to the tap when it retracts but it relies on the weight to hold it up so sometimes it’s wonky.
## Update April 2024 Spoke to customer services about the spray and button no longer working. After a discussion relating to evidence, a free replacement was issued. Good service. End of update ## As stated, after 6 months the spray/flow button lost its click and became spongey. Descaled to eliminate possible cause but no change. Within 4 further weeks the button stopped changing altogether and now the spray does not stay on. Pretty much left now with a flow and a spray combination. Really really disappointed. Such a nice tap and yet one single little part has made it useless. Very poor value for money.
I was a little worried that this might be cheap and nasty given it’s relative cost but, overall I’ve been pleasently surprised. It’s quite sturdy and the extendable hose is a real boon. Perhaps my only criticism is that it seems to have reduced the pressure of water we orginally had somewhat.
This tap is remarkably easy to fit, with a plate to stabilise it on the thin metal sinks we have in the UK, and features a hand tightened large bolt to get it in place, with two large crosshead bolts then used to lock it in place. No specialised tap tools needed, just a long screwdriver.
It comes with adapters so the tails can be fitted to either UK or Euro standard fittings.
It also comes with a spare alan key, grub screw and screw cover — presumably many people lose these down the sink when changing the cartridge!
The only downside is that Hot and Cold are printed on the tap, rather than indicated by a coloured stud, so you can’t reverse the hot/cold fitting; I largely want to have cold towards me and hot away from me, which is fine if you’re fitting with the valve lever on the left, but if fitted facing right you have to have it the other way round.
So easy to swap over from my old mixer taps, looks great and the pull out spray hose makes cleaning around the sink so much easier, wish I’d had one years ago!! Fantastic value for money
I searched Amazon and read the reviews and this one had plenty of reviews and the recent reviews all seemed positive, so I clicked add to basket and a few days later they arrived in a nicely presented box (the box inside the amazon box).
They have a good weight to them, feel strong and long-lasting. It took a little bit extra time to install this because I was missing a tool at home, I’m not a DIY’er by any means, so had to firstly message a friend for advice and then buy the Curved Jaw Locking Pliers (I had the wrench, I also needed some additional Isolating Valves).
Once I had all the necessary tools it took me maybe an hour to fit (mostly me stopping to curse the person who put the previous taps in such an awkward place), once fitted and the water switched on they worked wonderfully. It was a little less powerful than the previous taps, but that means I no longer get drenched in scolding hot water.
The tap functions well, it has the spray function, the normal tap function, you can pull the end piece and move it around. For the money it’s well worth it.
I installed it over a 500mm sink cabinet with built in bins. It needs a little space at the back for the cord and weight for the pull out mechanism but literally just a few cm.
The pull-out spray function is a game-changer, making cleaning up a breeze. It’s well-suited for UK standard fittings, ensuring compatibility. Installation was straightforward, and the tap feels sturdy enough. However, the water pressure could be a bit stronger.
Overall, a reliable and stylish option for any kitchen, though a slightly stronger water flow would make it perfect. Most likely will get a matching one for the kitchen! Good price!
The flow and the pressure are fine, takes a bit of time to get used to the turning on and off, just pushing the stick back and forth doesn’t turn the water on you have to pull it to the side to turn the water flow on also found the stick moves a long way and it is quite long so if you don’t have a lot of space at the back of your sink you will have problems turning the cold water on. It doesn’t seem like it fastens to the sink tightly and moves a bit. The pull out hose might not go back in after you’ve pulled it out if you have water pipes under the sink that might get in the way, I placed some hard board at the back with a piece of wood at the bottom to create a slope, so the hose and weight slide over the pipes, which solved the problem.
The bore is approx 4mm, I have installed lots of these and the bore of hoses always seems to be in the 6-7mm area, if you consider the standard copper feed to you sink, loo, etc is 13mm, there is a huge drop to 4mm!!! I would imagine they are designed for European consumers where the pressure is fine.
If your house has poor pressure I’d stay away to be honest, I ended up having to purchase a pressure boosting pump to compensate for the abysmal pressure to my hot tap, so be warned!!
This a great well made kitchen, at a very good price. The pull out head is very useful too. It was easy to install as well, unlike some others. I shall certainly be buying from this retailer again in the future.
I thought it was straight forward and simple to install(though I am a plumber).Love the spray action and the control you can have with the flow pulls away and recedes back into the tap spout well.Very pleased with purchase .
The item arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to fit – took about 30 mins including removal of the old tap. Love the functionality of the two water stream settings and the pull out feature makes cleaning the sink effortless. The unit is very light but feels well made, time will tell how durable it is but for the price it’s definitely worth a shot.
After a while I had an issue with the tap. I though I had had the tap for too long for the company to help me, but after leaving a review they were very responsive and helpful.
Had a plumber fit it for me along with an outside tap, and he said it was pretty straight forward.
Looks amazing, they spray is so good, and the pull out feature is so useful.
Can’t wait to put it to it’s full potential, I just know it’s going to make life that little bit easier while looking great.
Looks more expensive than what it is.
One happy customer – thank you FORIOUS.
Bought this as our kitchen tap broke, i read all the reviews and for the price thought this would be perfect!
I liked the concept of the tap pulling out to rinse the bowl etc – I actually fitted this myself, the instructions are great and easy to follow!
Shower fitting works well looks very stylish on my white ceramic utility sink. Great value compared to diy stores products
The taps arrived very promptly and, although quite lightweight, appear well-made. The brushed steel finish is excellent as drips/splashes don’t show on it, so one isn’t constantly having to polish the tap, unlike polished steel and chrome finishes. My husband fitted them very quickly and easily. I note that other reviewers said you must have plenty of clearance for the pull-out hose otherwise it won’t stay retracted – this isn’t correct – as you can see from my 2nd & 3rd photos, the hose is lying on the shelf, not hanging clear yet they both retract perfectly every time. The spray options are great and save water too. All in all we are delighted.
Going from absolutely kak, council house 2 separate taps too low to wash a dish properly with to this beautiful monster has made dishwashing a pleasure.
It’s only been a few weeks, but I just love it, and it uses far less water than having a standard hot/cold tap. Plumber found it easy to fit as well, unlike the cheap sink I bought with weird fixings that ended up costing as much in his time as if I’d just paid for a better quality one. Live & learn, but the price of this is ridiculously good, works beautifully, easy to switch functions , nice and tall so deep pots are easy to scrub.
Because it uses less water it takes longer to get hot water, longer to fill a jug, but who cares.
Great value for money, great quality and looks really good too. Easy to install, I would recommend.
This is a good quality tap and easy to fit. Very pleased with this purchase
Solid, well made. As advertised. Stylish and good value for money compared with many others viewed.
This is a great tap. Easy to fit (a pain to remove my old persimmon one…) and works really well. Make sure you have space directly underneath where the tap is (no pipes, etc.) as the weight needs to drop down vertically to allow for the hose extension to pull back in. Brushed steel finish is really nice. Highly recommended for the price
Absolutely fantastic quality and for the money
It’s good looking – solid and not a single leak
Unlike many other cheaper taps we have purchased in the past.
*Tip*
Don’t tighten the counter-weight overly, it reduces the internal hose diameter, and impacts the water pressure negatively.
This Tap looks great. The spray feature is brilliant , especially with the switch of the button . The pull down spray head gives a direct spray. The fitting took a little time. The Tap arrived well packed and with full instructions. Would definitely recommend.
