Fossil Women's GEN 6 Touchscreen Smartwatch with Speaker, Heart Rate, NFC, and Smartphone Notifications
Esteticamente poi fatto veramente bene, tutto in acciaio.

Easy to use more reliant than other make of watches that I have had.
Excellent watch, happy purchase, plenty of battery life, reliable digital data and many more.
I love this watch easy to set up and looks very sma
The battery life is disappointing. You have to recharge it every day. Also the weather does not appear to work ? It won`t pick up the location?
Belle qualit mais la connexion est avec le smartphone est peu aise
Pleased with the watch bought it for my partner she is pleased with it. I would recommend it to a friend. When we was out and about people was commenting that it was as lovely watch.
I’m use to wearing an Apple Watch so this is very different!
It’s bigger than I thought it would be but it looks really good on my wrist,
A lovely colour and design,
Easy to put on and take off-I dud have to take quite a few links out!
It’s very easy to set up,
Easy to download apps on to it,
Easy to operate,
Easy to swipe through,
Battery life is poop though-needs charging daily! Very annoying!
I do prefer my Apple Watch but this will take some getting use to
Hi would Recommmed who like the Smart Watch this Watch is Awesome very easy to use and user friendly
When FTW6077 watch arrived I wasn’t quite sure about the diamantes as I also have the FTW6078 watch which is the grey / stainless steel version of this one. I hadn’t noticed that this rose gold version actually has diamontes in two rows along the length of the strap aswell as the face being surrounded with diamontes. Those first impressions didn’t last as the style did grow on me! The watch has all the same functionality as the FTW6078 version. I am not that technically savvy but I was able to connect the watch to my phone easily and start using it to set my daily steps goals / monitoring, set alarms and check heart rate etc. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the face of the watch on this FTW6077 rose gold version is the same size as the FTW6078 – I had assumed it may be smaller in circumference to target those with a smaller wrist. I have really small wrists but I prefer this size of face as you have the benefit of being able to see more on the screen rather than squinting and scrolling on a smaller face. The face is approx. 4.2cm in diameter. I had commented on the battery life previously (I would prefer it to be a tad longer) however I was advised to switch off a few notifications and this definitely helped stretch the battery life. For the price point , this is a really good contender and worth your consideration. I would perhaps wait until the updated operating system is introduced as this will help give better functionality for longer between charging.
Overall very pleased with look, quality and performance of the watch. However metal strap is lighter than expected and needed help from a watch repairer to change the strap and even he struggled! This is due to the design where its difficult to get the end of the bracelet to fit in around the watch
Didn’t use it long enough to asses battery life due to returning watch , you have to connect to Bluetooth twice if you have I phone , and I had twice reseto factory settings in hope of getting this watch to connect but it just wouldn’t connect twice ! Which meant I couldn’t make or receive calls and this watch does not allow I phone users to reply to txts via watch , and only received internet based msgs, but watch itself is gorgeous if anyone is looking for a stylish watch who doesn’t use apple phone. Waiting for over 15 days still waiting for the refund
I ordered this magnificent Fossil watch for my lady. The watch has a very luxurious look and is suitable for use at any event or in everyday life. It is very functional, working on the OS by Google Operating System, it allows you to connect to mobile phones with the latest generation of the Android operating system. It can be customized with thousands of watch faces and allows the installation of hundreds of apps compatible with OS by Google. Allows tracking of physical activity, activity goals, steps, sleep, heart rate, cardio level and SPO2 (blood oxygen). It also allows notifications for calls, texts, apps and automatic time, time zone and calendar syncing. The stainless steel bracelet is very attractive and modern. My wife was overjoyed with this gift. Recommended !
This Fossil smart watch comes in a small box containing the watch, charging cable and startup instructions. The instructions aren’t very detailed, as much of the setup of the watch is done on the Wear OS app. I found that that was a simple process – I had no trouble pairing the watch to my phone, downloading my contacts and customising the face.
Before I could start wearing the watch though, I had to take some links out of the strap, as it was just far too big. This is supposed to be a women’s watch but the strap by default is too big for the average man. A choice of straps was available – I went for dark grey but find myself wishing I chose rose gold, as that would better match the ring around the watch face. The face itself is a lot larger than I was expecting – this makes it much easier to use but might make it look oversized on a small wrist.
Operating the smart watch is done via the buttons and touch screen. Responsiveness is good, I had no problems there. The display is bright and colourful. There are tons of features by default, and more can be installed. I did test out the various fitness apps and they worked fine, but I don’t generally use them. What I do use are the phone, music and notification features. The last smart watch I tried just wouldn’t work properly with my phone but thankfully I had no such issues with this watch. I am able to make and answer calls, play and skip music and all my notifications come through. It is obviously preferable to use a phone for phone calls, as the sound quality is better, but I do like being able to use the watch. I’ve also used the contactless payment feature, which comes in handy.
Battery life is good. The more features are enabled, the quicker the battery drains, so the watch does need daily charging. A very useful feature is the power-saving mode that disables all smart features and just has the watch tell the time. In this mode, the battery drains much much slower. The charging cable is magnetic so easily clips onto the bottom of the phone. I did note that the watch does get quite hot when charging, but I assume that this is normal.
Overall, I’m very happy with this watch. It looks very classy, is easy to use and there are lots of customisation options. It’s far superior to the last smart watch I tried and as such I am happy to recommend it.
I will not post any photos because internet is full or video and photo reviews.
I would like to share some honest words about this watch.
I am Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic user. I have been using smartwatches since 2015. I’ve watched smartwatch technology progress and development.
This watch is vibrant in colour.
Display is sharp and clear.
Very responsive.
Battery as expected: max 24 hours with reasonable use.
Don’t expect fancy watch like this to have massive battery to last more than one day.
It was made to look: not to last.
Wear OS is lacking a lot of improvements in system UI.
It is bare bone Wear OS, with all its glory and bad things.
Not always responsive and accurate.
This watch can be a great idea for a gift.
However: for this price – lots of more functional smartwatches are available.
If you look for a blink blink watch: this is the way to go.
If you look for a durable and functional watch : stay away.
Overall: price is a bit too high.
Functionality: as far as Wear OS goes.
Battery: as for fancy looking watch – nothing special.
Hope this review will help you make right decision.
The watch arrived in a square box with a six on the outside I presume to represent Gen 6 with the top being clear plastic to display the watch. Once opened the watch is sandwiched between bespoke card holding it securely in the centre of the box, in the bottom you get the charging lead along with a multilingual product information book and setup guide.
First impressions: the watch is quite heavy and slightly thicker than I expected with all the finishing looking immaculate. The main winder/adjustment dial has a nice smooth action and a good positive click when pressed in, the two additional buttons also have a good positive click when pressed. The watch strap although a Fossil brand I didn’t think matched the quality of the watch and is very large even if the strap was for a man’s watch and I ended up removing seven links for it to fit my wife’s wrist.
Once the watch was fully charged I went through the setup guide which is really more of an instruction to turn on the Bluetooth then get the Wear OS companion app, open it up and follow the onscreen instructions. The whole process is very straight forward and it linked to an iphone 11 pro max without any issues.
The watch comes pre-installed with several applications with a fitness app being linked to a single press on the top button and a payment app on the bottom button, these can be changed fairly easily via the settings and my wife set these to a weather app and google maps. The watch can be used for phone calls but the sound quality is limited having a small speaker away from the ear so although usable it does sound rather tinny both ends of the call. The watch does have google assist which works well and also has Alexa on it but this is listed as coming soon.
The swipe function is nice and smooth and the watch can also be navigated via twisting the winder again all very smooth. The display is extremely clear and very easy to see, and the touch functions very accurate and responsive, ever allowing you to type accurately on an onscreen keyboard. The watch does need charging daily which means if you use the sleep tracking function you would need to either charge before sleeping or give it a charge in the morning for a day’s use.
The notification system works really well and enables you to link calls and notifications to a vibration and onscreen message on the watch. The companion app works well but does lack the ability to adjust full functionality of the watch and in my opinion could do with more features. The dial display changing is a nice feature and makes it very easy to change to look of the watch face.
Overall in my opinion this is a very smooth watch with a mass of features and adjustments that work smoothly and flawlessly thus far. It is quite a big watch and I really wasn’t very keen on the supplied strap, the touch sensitivity is exceptionally good with the swipe menu being really smooth, and the companion app works well although somewhat limited. My wife really likes the watch and the ability to personalise it to your own taste and needs.
This is the women’s Fossil Gen 6. Below is my detailed review which cover different areas regarding the watch’s design, features, and battery life. Let me start by mentioning that in terms of design, the women’s variant is way more stylish than the men’s variant in my opinion. It just feels more elegant and more well-designed.
(+) Points
– This smartwatch features a very familiar rounded design. It sits in between the conventional watches by Fossil, and the very smart ones such as Apple’s series 7. Of course the Fossil gen 6 is smaller in size compared to the series 7.
– The strap is pretty comfortable. I checked Fossil’s website and they also offer a variety of straps in case you want different looks. The current strap I have is brown leather which is suitable for formal situations and night outs. I am thinking to get another strap for sports purposes.
– It is made of stainless steel which is way more durable compared to Series 7’s base model which comes in Aluminium.
– The screen panel is AMOLED. This is on par with the competition and does make the display look bright with pretty true and vivid colours.
(-) Points
– WearOS, the operating system that runs this new Gen 6, is missing the latest upgrade. Lately, Google partnered with Samsung to improve its OS. The latest WearOS update was massive, but this is not yet supported by the Gen 6. It makes you feel like you are using an old device. It reminds me of the old update on my Galaxy watch 3, which used to run on my watch 2 years ago. The rumour is that WearOS 3 will come to the watch sometime in 2022, which meanwhile keeps the watch lacking in some form.
– I am not very impressed with the battery life. I charged this to 100% last night, then put it on and slept. I woke up and the battery life is at 64%, despite not doing anything with the watch. It hardly keeps me going throughout the day when I don’t use it, and if I use it, battery drains even faster.
– The health and fitness functions are quite limited in scope considering the current technology available in 2021.
Verdict?
My final thoughts about the Fossil Gen 6 is that it is a ‘Fair’ product. It sits in between the top end flagships and lower range gimmicks. It packs some good features and build quality. It is easy to use. It is relatively more affordable than the Series 7 (But the series 7 which is around 100 more is way better in terms of battery, display, OS support, and functionality, so it’s very hard to decide really). While having some cool features, the watch equally seems to have a below-average battery life, something that keeps me quite hesitant to fully recommend it.
The smart watches battery life is amazing. The smart features are easy and simple to use. The bezel and the strap of the watch is very stable and good looking and a very quality looking watch. Overall I would recommend this watch to anyone for gifting or buying it for themselves.
