This item was perfect for us. We put them down and then a blow up mattress on top to raise the height of the bed. So nice and glad two fit a king blow up mattress just right 🙂
Sturdy and comfortable but still quite big when folded up.
I liked everything about this camper bed, excellent value and quality
Very pleased with the camp bed, perfect for my requirements. Extra width helps. Easy assembly and disassembly. Excellant.
I absolutely love this bed! It’s comfy and I’m using it daily at the moment whilst waiting to move in to a new home been sleeping on it for a month so far and it’s managed to sort my back out lol
Good value, feels sold under you. I added a mattress topper as felt hard. Good width and length. Have slept on this 2 weeks camping no problems, packs away nice and small
Arrived on time in excellent condition. Lots of room to turn in comfort, very sturdy bit cumbersome not that lightweight but great camp bed
Very easy to set up and store in cover. Like the extra width. Stable doesn’t roll or collapse. Great for an awning .
Happy with this camp bed, nice and sturdy. Quite big so glad I’m in a car and not on a train!
The quality of this folding bed is good, the fabric is very good, there is no peculiar smell when you open it.
The overall bracket is hard enough, it is very stable to sit on, the tube is thick, the load-bearing is also very good, and it feels very strong.
The workmanship is very meticulous, the color of the fabric is quite correct, there is no such thing as chromatic aberration, and the appearance is very high.
You can use it directly when you open it.
You can easily fold it when you don’t need it. It doesn’t take up space when you put it on the side.
The price/performance ratio is very high. It is comfortable and convenient to lie on the balcony. I like it very much!
It is the perfect high for someone who needs to transfer out of a wheel chair. But I purchased a thin mattress because it’s very hard . But it’s good quality and exactly what I had hoped for . Easy to pop open and collapses again. I would recommend it. But if u need a little extra comfort I advice a thin mattress as well
Camping on this bed atm and its really good. Had to buy a small blow up to place on top because of my back. But it’s comfy, easy to carry, put up, store, very sturdy and well made. Even the pockets on the side are really handy to hold torch ec
Easy to put up in seconds. Very sturdy. Can’t rate the comfort factor as I didn’t try it without a roll out mattress on top. But had a very comfy nights sleep with the mattress on.
Altho this is a camping bet it actually can be used for more than that if you have a guest staying over could be used as a spare bed, or if you want to sunbathe in the garden this would be ideal.
It really big loafs bigger than I was expecting it to be and also really compfortable even without a blanket or anything on it.
It’s very strong and secure I like the hanging pocket over the side to keep a remote or your phone in.
It just wipes clean if anything spills on in.
No assembly is required you just have to open it up to use . It only takes one person to open it out it literally takes seconds just pull the 2 ends outwards and push down to straiten it out.
Folds away easily also and stores away in its own storage bag.
The whole thing is quite heavy so not really for carrying around if having to walk somewhere like to your campsite. But if you have transport it’s fine.
FUNDANGO Folding Camping Bed
This is a strong and durable camping bed that will take the weight of 150kg. It has a decent width (75cm), that so often is missing in others camp beds, and is quite lengthy, coming in at a whopping 2 metres long. I wouldn’t say it’s as light as a airbed, but it is only 6.5kg which consider the metal frame, is really good. Due to its size, I’m not sure it’s one for trekking around in the wild, though it would be fantastic in an awning or as a put-up bed.
The frame is made from steel and is anti-rust. Assembling is easy. It unfolds and locks into place by pushing down on the legs.
The fabric is hardy, the stitching immaculate, and there is some padding at the head and feet. It also has a handy pouch for putting in keys and mobile phones, etc.
The quality of this camp bed is fantastic. I’ve used many over the years and this one far outweighs the rest. i have no hesitation in recommending it.
I like this camp bed because it folds up umbrella style and is very easy to open out and fold away and has a bag to store it in.
If feels comfortable to lie on and has a slightly padded end for your head.
It is a really good size so you will need a large tent or annex to use it. The only negative for me is that it isn’t made of aluminium so is quite heavy if you are trying to keep the weight down in your caravan.
It could also make a good temporary bed for home for the occasional visitor.
Overall I think this is a good product and well made and thought out.
Seems pretty well built; the frame is stainless steel, the joints are chunky plastic. There is no play in it whatsoever and it feels very solid. The stitching is also good.
Folded up it’s quite large (110 x 15 x 20cm), though obviously smaller than a spare bed would be. It comes in a large nylon bag with a shoulder strap, which you need if you’re going to carry it any distance, as it isn’t lightweight.
Removal from the bag is easy – it is fortunately sized large enough to get the bed in and out without any trouble. Once out, one simply pushes the ends apart and it all folds out. You’ll need to push the middle down a bit to get it (almost) flat, and you’re done, in seconds. Folding up is equally fast. There are no latches or catches to hold it in position; it just folds out and stays there. There is a strap with keeps the ‘top’ of the folded bed together, and which makes fitting into the bag much easier.
I said it was (almost) flat, because there is a slight rise at one end, presumably to reduce the size of the required pillow. It’s not terribly noticeable in use and I’d still suggest using a pillow.
The fabric of the surface is high density nylon (1000D Oxford apparently). It’s also pretty taut, so doesn’t have much ‘padding’. I actually didn’t have a problem – it has enough ‘give’ to be comfortable, but it’s not like a proper mattress.
It’s advertised as a camping bed; given that it weighs more than twice as much as my 4 man tent and is twice the size, I’d suggest that this would be car camping at the most, and even then, only if you have plenty of space to spare. However, for a spare bed for the occasional visitor it’s perfect – much smaller than storing a mattress and more comfortable than a sofa.
This review is for the FUNDANGO Folding Camping Bed Extra Large Camp Cot for Adults Heavy Duty with Side Pouch Carry Bag Max Load 150kg/330lbs,78.7×29.5×15/18.9in Gray
Nice quality we made folding bed. It is fairly large and a solid product. Comfortable to sleep on and way better that have a sleeping bag on the floor. Easy enough to fold and unfold… not the lightest though.
Would recommend.
This camping cot is really good, I was apprehensive at first on seeing it but unfolding it and trying it out, it’s actually really good.
The cot itself unfolds and folds so easily, it’s really simple, it’s one slick movement either way. When unfolded it clicks into place and you’re done. It feels comfy enough to sleep on itself for maybe one or two nights but anything more than that you might want to add in a mattress of some sort.
Overall, really pleased.
Just what the doctor ordered! We’ve always used airbeds for those guests who we haven’t got beds for and this is a step up! It’s certainly well made and easy to assemble. Previous camp beds have had those awful legs that you need to tension in there and it all gets a bit complicated, ending up in a battle of strength. This bed is easy. Just pull it apart, everything drops into place and secure it. There’s a handy pouch for you to drop your phone in (or your wallet!) and it’s robust and supportive. I found it very comfortable and it’s certainly an improvement on the airbed system. Highly recommended.
This is a revelation! It’s a large, folding bed (rather than a cot) and opens up literally in one second flat. No messing around with straps or handles, you just pull it out and there you are. Push down on the legs and these lock into place. This is a big beast, whether it’s practical to take it camping or hiking with you I’m not sure, but it’s really useful to have around the house because you can use it as an occasional bed, when you have someone staying over, or just put it up in the garden or on the beach or wherever you need to have some comfortable, portable lying space off the ground.
The quality is amazing, this is sturdy and well produced. It folds down again in no time and slips into the carrying sack provided. Also comes with a sweet little explanatory note in a charming version of English, explaining that the company was founded by a group of Hungarian guys who wanted to make their own high-quality outdoor equipment.
Excellent product, worth the price, completely recommended.
Been one piece folding bed is certainly a respectable achievement for the manufacturer, and it is equally an absolute important for us, the user.
That achievement makes things super easy for us, there is no need to think and burn our brain reading the manual, because the manufacturer already did all the work for us.
As I said, one piece is great, but even better is durability, this FUNDANGO Folding Camping Bed Extra Large Camp Cot is very strong and also very large, making it ideal for tall person.
As it is strong and made with a good material, it will last a great time before it needs replacing.
When in bed you can use the pocket to store any small items you may have on you, like phones and tablet.
I ordered this as a spare guest bed for the house and after trying it out have to commend this product for how well it performs.
To unfold the bed simply pull it apart and then push down on the bits underneath to lock the legs out, its as simple as that. I am 6ft and weigh 130kg, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it took my weight!. I am more than impressed with this camp bed its really well designed and made.
recommended!
So. This is a big product. The bed is large enough for even the largest adult. It opens and closes up in less than 5 seconds and is so well constructed that it feels like it will last years. However – and it’s a bit however – it is no way possible to hike with this. Even closed this is a huge item. You will even need a decent amount of car boot space to take 2 or 3 of them – forget it if you are taking a tent in a small hatchback. BUT. However any family who enjoy camping holidays will know how annoying inflatable mattresses are. This is a perfect solution for parents. You can leave (hopefully) lighter kids on an inflatable and get a good nights sleep on these. You could easily push two together to create a 160cm wide bed (200cm long!) and have space to store clothes underneath. No more getting up in the middle of the night and letting your partner slowly deflate to the ground (and then rebound no return) – It would be a game changer! If this chimes you buy these now.
The ultimate is camping luxury, an off the floor camping bed.
Comfortable and easy to put up and down.
Sturdy feel, can take up to 150kg!
Can be used in non camping situations too such as sunbathing or as an extra bed for a guest.
It’s a soft base that along with pairing it with a sleeping bag is rather comfy.
Has a handy pouch for smaller items to be held inside it.
The lightweight feel to it make it easy to carrying around.
This Folding Camping Bed by FUNDANGO Is exactly what we were looking for to use in the awning of our camper. It will be perfect for when we have to accommodate an extra person while camping.
The thing that I most like about this is how easy it is to put up and fold away plus, when it is packed into its carry bag it does not take up too much space.
Both my partner and I have tried it out now and found it to be very sturdy and comfortable – it does not tip over when getting on or off of it. The pocket attached to the bed is also a nice touch as it is very easy to misplace small items such as your phone or torches when you go to bed but now you can store them safely beside you.
The frame of this bed is a lot sturdier than some I have seen at similar prices and all in all it is really difficult to find fault with this camping bed – I guess only time will tell if it really is as good as it appears to be.
This is an excellent camp bed. It comes with a handy carrier for easy transportation. I’ve currently got it stored under the bed, so super handy if a guest wants to stay over at that last moment. It is relatively heavy, but this is needed as if not it would probably feel unstable once it is in use.
It couldn’t be simpler to use – there is a clip which keeps the mechanism together, and once that’s undone it is just the case of pushing down both ends and the bed is complete. It’s a great size and perfect for those who sleep on their side like I do as it wide enough and feels extremely solid and sturdy. I’m 5’9″ and about 230lbs and was perfect for me. There is a handy side pocket for a mobile, cup etc.
Overall so far, this is a real winner. Great value for money and should be long lasting, as it’s versatile if it’s used as a camping bed or as a spare bed to use at home!
I was very surprised how strong and stable it is! I tend to move around a lot at night, and this bed did not move an inch, really strong and solid.
It’s really sturdy bed, long and wide so a comfy nights sleep. Easy to open and fold away. Fits perfectly under our bed.
Folded out and back in seconds. Very firm to sleep on but very comfortable. I am very happy with i
