Es gibt Dinge, da fragt man sich wieso erst jetzt. Htte ich mir schon vor 20 Jahren kaufen sollen. Total angenehm den Schlauch nicht mehr aufrollen zu mssen. Auch wenn das einrollen nicht immer auf Anhieb funktioniert. Erleichtert auf jeden Fall die Arbeit ungemein.
Die Schlauchbox ist eine riesige Hilfe im Garten. Da wir im Sden und Osten ein bisschen Garten haben, kann man die Schlauchbox so eingraben, dass der Wasserschlauch in die jeweilige Richtung ohne Knick gezogen werden kann. Und das automatische Aufrollen ist eine super Erleichterung gegenber dem normalen Schlauchwagen. Top Produkt, wirkt auch stabil.
Top! Lsst sich sehr einfach in den Boden “schrauben” und auch der restliche Zusammen-/Aufbau lsst sich ohne groes handwerkliches Geschick bewltigen. Beim Aufwickeln des rausgezogenen Schlauchs wackelt das ganze Ding zwar ordentlich, aber es bleibt trotzdem stabil und arbeitet ruckfrei. Bin sehr begeistert und rgere mich ber die lange Zeit, in der ich den Gartenschlauch manuell auf eine Schlauchrolle/einen Schlauchwagen aufwickeln musste. Kaufempfehlung!
Haben uns fr diese Schlauchbox von Gardena als “Zweitgert” entschieden und nicht bereut.
Fr unseren Garten suchten wir eine zweite Schlauchbox, die aber nicht an der Wand zu befestigen ist. Wir haben die groe Wandschlauchbox von Gardena und sind super zufrieden. Daher war klar, es muss wieder Gardena sein. Der Schlauch lsst sich super ab-und aufrollen (vor allem leise), Aufbau ohne Probleme und im Winter kommt sie ins Gartenhaus – Perfekt und klare Kaufempfehlung.
Schlauch rollt sich super wieder ein, lsst sich leicht raus ziehen. Einzig die mitgelieferte Bohrhilfe ist leider echt nicht zu gebrauchen. Fr die Bodenbefestigung war daher etwas Kreativitt gefrag

An no lo he probado, si lo he montado en casa y aparentemente funciona bien y trae todas las piezas, aunque el embalaje llego muy deteriorado.
Ich wollte unbedingt diese Box, da sich der Schlauch automatisch wieder aufrollt. Zustzlich wollte ich die Box nicht an der Hauswand befestigen. Da hat diese gut gepasst. Verarbeitung und Qualitt ist auf hohem Gardena Niveau wie gewohnt.
Leider ist der Schlauch sehr dnn, dadurch geht weniger Wasser durch, was beim Rasensprinkler deutlich zu merken ist, ich muss ihn dadurch fter umstellen um den ganzen Garten zu beregnen oder einen anderen Schlauch nehmen.
Zustzlich muss noch ein Anschluss Schlauch fr die Box gekauft werden.
Montage aufgrund von steinigem Boden etwas schwerer, funktioniert wie beschreibe
Surprisingly the bottom support handles well and it is sturdy. Easy to install, the automatic retract coil worker great. The only bad stuff is that sometimes it has a minor leak by the connection, but I turn off the water at source so it didn’t bother me. The connection at the end of the hose to the spryer is made it only to work with their equipment and you need to buy the converter. It is a bit pricey, so if you don’t need free standing there are other cheaper ones.

We had to make a “pilot ” hole in our hard ground and add water to get the spike twisted in. The spike allows the reel to swivel which makes pulling hose easier. The retraction system is a breeze. The quick connects work with our existing brass quick connects. We will easily be able to store the reel for the winter and it has a cap to cover the ground sleeve. They have thought of everything although I will miss the storage compartment on our cheap old plastic reel.
We have not had a pressure issue with the smaller diameter hose, but our water pressure isn’t the greatest to begin with. I suppose it would be nice to have a 5/8″ hose or be able to wind on your own, but have no complaints.
Our foster dog zeroed in on any hose lying on the ground within seconds and had destroyed 2 hoses within days, but strangely enough does not recognize this system as a hose or even as something to chew on! And, with the retractable hose I am no longer having to completely roll up plain old hose to avoid her hose Spidey senses. Lucky us.
Overall, I would buy again.
Super Lsung fr alle die nicht immer den Schlauchwagen rumstehen haben mchten. Der Aufbau ist sehr einfach und die mitgelieferten Materialien wirken sehr hochwertig und langlebig. Optisch integriert er sich gut im Garten. So macht das Bewssern Spa.
Robusta richiede un terreno compatto per essere installata a terra. Funziona molto bene, senza strappi.
Recommend:
– Putting handle on main unit to make it easier to pull out.
– Inserting main unit into aluminum tube could be improved.
– Use non-proprietary hose connections.
– In directions, make recommendation to use level on top of stake when inserting it.

Sehr praktisch mit dem Standfu, da wir nicht in die Hauswand bohren wollten.
Es un buen material. La tenemos desde hace tiempo y funciona perfectamente. Ideal para no taladrar la pared. Se engancha perfectamente al suelo.
Das ist schon meine dritte Schlauchrolle von Gardena (fr mehrere Grten). Ich bin damit super zufrieden.

This is simply the best hose box I have ever used. Very solid construction, it was easy to put together and install, and it works very smoothly.
It has survived wind, rain, snow, and frost and looks and performs like new.
Not the cheapest, but probably the best I have used.
It took me around ten minutes to install the hosepipe using the included accessories – simply screw the metal spike into the ground and then attach the unit to the top. The reel unit is easily removed for storage over the winter or when not in use if required. The water is fed through the reel from a standard hose connector.
In use the ratchet is smooth and easy to use. You can unreel as much hose as you need then when you are finished it will pull the hose back with just a gentle tug on the end.
It is a little bit pricey, but should last for many many years so in my opinion represents good value for money.
First impressions of this were good, it’s larger than I was expecting and when you get it out the box it’s obvious how good quality and well made it is. I was impressed with the instructions too, they are simple and clear so it’s easy to understand how you need to install it. The installation itself took a little bit of muscle getting the spike in the ground and reaching the full depth, I’d definitely recommend doing it after a rainy day! It obviously needs to go in grass so wouldn’t work on patio.
In use it works well, it’s a great hose and extends and retracts really smoothly. I also like how it’s frost proof and UV protected so it should be fairly weather resistant and last well. I’ve not had any issues with it yet so can’t provide any constructive criticism to date, other than that it’s quite heavy!
Overall I’ve been really pleased with this so would happily recommend if it suits your budget.
Sooo sturdy….so amazing…so worth the price….don’t even have words to describe how amazing it is. It is very tough….sturdy product…easy to use…and easy to install….worth every penny. This item is a must for people that have a garden….enough hose length to go round…..no extensions needed…The roll-up system is amazing because the hose gets rolled up automatically…just pull on it once….to release the braking system and the hose will go back in by its own….Worth every penny…would recommend it to anyone.
Garden hose
This hose reel is a fairly standard good quality auto reel that you may have seen before but with one difference. Instead of mounting it on the wall, it mounts on a ground spike. This allows you to mount it anywhere in the garden rather than having to be next to a house or building. You do of course still need access to a tap, but you can run a fixed piece of hosepipe for that.
The ground spike is easy to screw into the soil, though make sure you do this while the ground is soft. It comes with a screw handle, which after use cleverly stores in the spike so you don’t lose it. The reel itself can be removed from the spike easily for winter storage without having to take the spike out. The spike comes with a weather proof cap to protect it when you do this.
You could mount it next to a house too. This may be useful for those that are not comfortable drilling to fit, or don’t want to pay someone else to do it. No tools are required (except a small screwdriver to assemble the cover).
Other than this unique feature, it is a standard self retracting reel. It comes with a short tap connection hose, 3 tap adapters for different size taps and a spray attachment. It uses the standard push fit bayonet connectors so you can use attachments from other brands like Hozelock. It is made to the usual high quality Gardenia standard.
Now here’s something different. We have a wall mounted hose in a plastic housing that’s about ten years old but until now I’d not come across anything like this Gardena hose which is intended to be fixed into the ground – whether in earth or the edge of a lawn – by means of a spike rather like a bigger version of the kind of system used to install a rotary washing airer.
The product arrives in Gardena packaging and would make a fabulous gift for keen gardeners. Gardena is typically a little more expensive than other brands but this is a well known German gardening brand with a deservedly high reputation for quality which since 2007 has been a subsidiary of Husqvarna, an equally reputable Swedish brand.
This hose box is easy to install and exudes the kind of quality you’d expect from Gardena. It’s well thought out and though I had reservations about the installation fixture, the metal ground spike mechanism worked well.
There is a 1.5m connecting hose between the outdoor tap and the body of the hose. Not enough? – No reason why you couldn’t substitute a longer connecting piece of your own. The hose, incidentally, is 11mm in diameter.
This hose feels sturdy. It’s easy to move and swivels perfectly in a 360 degree circle. The hose extends smoothly and easily and with the patented RollControl technology here there’s no tangles. When you stop pulling out the hose, the built-in locking device automatically engages at the length you want it. A slight pull upwards and the hose is automatically rolled up.
This Gardena hose has UV and frost protection which for me, as the owner of a wall mounted competitor brand of hose is great as my hose has become very much discoloured and the hose end piece has suffered in winter frosts.
My current hose, by contrast to this, takes effort to pull out – and to reel in too by means of a manual winding mechanism on the wall mounted housing. This Gardena version takes away all the effort and increases the ease of watering plants.
The hose box is compact and looks smart yet unobtrusive in its grey tones – perfectly blending in with the garden unlike some hose boxes which can stand out and mar the overall vista. The hose box has even been adjusted to the height of Gardena mowing robots – if you’re lucky enough to have one – so they’ll mow the lawn around it without any problems.
This Gardena hose box is truly innovate technology. It comes with a sprayer with two different spray patterns – and a long 5 year warranty. A really excellent product, you could of course place more than one hose box within a larger sized garden. Once you try that swivel feature, you’ll find it hard to go back to a regular design of hose.
This is really very sturdy. I couldn’t be happier with this item!, tidies up everything, easy enough to install and once in place absolutely superb. I love the way it keeps everything tidy and retracts very easily back after use.
A real god send for keeping things tucked away and also for winter protection.
Would very much recommend.

Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should clear the lawn , put on some suitable hosing music (Any suggestions for “hosing” songs would be appreciated… ), and pop on our gardening gloves , as we take a closer look… …
It arrives in a large shiny, professional, retail ready box.
It makes an excellent first impression.
Out of the box, and the contents are easily catalogued:

Very nice indeed.
All the ingredients (Yup… I am going for ingredients…) needed to get you up and running, straight out of the box.
It is a complete, and comprehensive set, and that is always a pleasant surprise.
The hose has a few remarkable features.
So let’s have a wee look at some of those, and make some remarks.
The case measures : 54 x 23.5 x 43.7 centimetres
It weighs in at : 6.4 Kilograms
The large case, that protects, and stores the hose, is made from thick hard plastic.
This allows the hose to stay out in the garden all year round, as it is frost proof, rainproof, snow proof, and very strong, sturdy, and very strong.
The hose system can be rolled up automatically, safely and reliably because of the centrifugal brake and integrated hose guide.
It rewinds steadily without twisting or kinking.
It is a far cry from the old garden hose we used to play with as kids, which was full of kinks, and had to be unkinked every time we needed to use it.
Mainly to soak an unsuspecting passer-by, or parent.
I would not recommend doing that now.
My parents are in their 80’s and would definitely not appreciate that now, if they ever did.
The case can be swivelled 180 degrees, giving you flexibility, and making sure the hose will not kink, or get stuck at a corner.
The case can be wall mounted, and is designed specially to do so.
Nozzles, spray guns and scrubbing brushes can be stored on the wall bracket where they will be ready and at hand.
The build quality is excellent.
This hose is basically the Rolls-Royce of hoses.
Everything about it screams quality.
The case is strong, solid, and build like a tank.
The hose is strong, durable, and finished to the highest standard, as is the wall mounting case, and wall mounting accessories.
Setting the hose system up is very easy.
The easy to follow, and well-written instructions, make installing the hose case onto a wall, a piece of cake.
It takes around half an hour, working carefully, and making sure at every stage that the instructions are followed.
A wee bit of DIY knowledge helps, and making sure you have the right tools is a big help.
Once installed the hose is a joy to use.
It is smooth to pull out, and smooth when it recoils itself, and coils itself away in its housing.
The recoil system is strong, powerful, and very well-designed
The hose is great to use, with a good powerful spray, and an easy to adjust nozzle.
The whole system is incredibly well-built, and this shows through in its ease of use, and its user-friendly operation.
It is a pleasure to use.
No downsides, or concerns, were noted during testing.
Value wise, the hose is not cheap.
But you really do get what you pay for, with some things.
This hose is a great example.
It is the Rolls-Royce of hoses, the Concorde of garden equipment.
It is a top of the range hose, and the price reflects that.
Taking this into account, the hose is actually very good value.
It should last a lifetime, and replacing it with numerous cheaper hoses, would eventually cost more.
I would happily pay the asking price, after having my test drive.
I was sold on it, the moment I unpacked it.
Overall, the hose is brilliant.
It is brilliantly designed, well put together, and it performs like the top of the range hose it is.
It costs what it costs, and it is very good value.

Delivery was fast as always and i was not disappointed, quality pipe with anti kink and a strong retract even if the hose is water filled, what’s more this pivots to the full 180 . The hose reel itself is easy enough to unroll but has a firm rewind that ensures the hose is fully retracted after every use. Particularly impressive is the horizontal slider which automatically and evenly distributes the hose on the reel.
Basically I’m surprised I’m so pleased with a garden hose but this pure quality and while more expensive than some others you really do get what you have paid for. The father-in-law has the HozeLock version and he was experiencing problems with it getting jammed on the auto reel every now and again which swayed me towards this. Pay half, you pay twice, ey?
Wouldn’t have any other brand now. The Gardena has been excellent – it certainly feels like a premium and well-engineered product.
I highly recommend this garden hose you won’t be disappointed.
Well, I never thought I’d go all waxing lyrical about a garden hose! This is a great design start to finish. Super usable and entirely practical if you have a lawn or can get it fixed in a new poured concrete base. If you check out the pictures above you can see how simple and effective the design is. All the usual hose ‘issues’ are solved. It’s always there ready. The wind in and wind out functions are elegant. No more tiresome manual winding or (to a marked degree) kinking of the hose. It’s a steady, safe motion.
Fix it where you want, close to a outdoor tap is naturally ideal, and it’s then a feature of your garden. Fixing is fine in grass. Everything is included to screw the base into the lawn. Placing the hose unit itself is easy. You don’t need to be a DIY expert. I am also assuming you can do the same in a fresh poured concrete patio say. Of course, if the ground/surface is too hard or soft you may have difficulties, so choose your day or location carefully.
All in it’s hard to fault this item. Construction, design, function all superior. I suppose price is my only gripe, but you’re likely getting the best available hose at this point in time. And it should last if you take care. Solid 4**** for me.
Este es un muy buen carrete de manguera para jardn modo RollUp con un largo de 20, con carrete giratorio, gua integrada, y con el que tenemos la posibilidad de hacer la fijacin para tierra y auxiliar de montaje, todo ello con la fiabilidad que nos ofrece uno de los proveedores punteros en este sector como es Gardena.
Este rollo de maguera para patio es de muy buena calidad. La manguera en s es ms bien finita, por lo que pensaba que no iba a tener potencia suficiente, pero para mi sorpresa tiene bastante potencia y al ser delgada la manguera no pesa tanto como otras. En la boca de la manguera puedes seleccionar cuanta presin quieres para limpiar, desde un pulverizador hasta un chorro con ms potencia. Esto lo puedes seleccionar unicamente girando la boquilla de la manguera. En cuanto a la instalacin, si es un poco ms costosa, ya que tienes que clavarla en el suelo para que quede bien firme y sujeta. Lo que ms me ha gustado es su recogida y suelta, pues a la hora de sacarla unicamente tienes que tirar de la manguera y va saliendo lo que necesites, evitando as tener una manguera siempre liada, y para recoger tiras dos veces de la manguera y se recoge sola en un momento. Estoy muy contenta con ella y de momento le he dado mucho trabajo y est resistiendo. La recomiendo 100%

Manguera de jardn Gardena
Se puede colocar en cualquier lugar del jardn y se puede girar 360 viene provista de un pie a modo de estaca se clava en el suelo y esto da a esta manguera mucha libertad de movimiento a la hora de regar.
La manguera se bloquea automticamente cuando dejas de tirar de ella en la longitud que desees (mximo 20 metros) haciendo un pequeo tirn se desbloquea y empieza a recogerse y la manguera se enrolla automtica y uniformemente.
Como digo su funcionamiento es perfecto, gracias a la tecnologa RollControl de Gardena la manguera se despliega fcilmente y con suavidad y se rebobina sola cmodamente y sin esfuerzo.
Los materiales utilizados para su fabricacin se aprecian de buena calidad, tienen proteccin UV y estn hechos a prueba de heladas.
Viene provista de todos los elementos para su fcil instalacin, la manguera de 20 metros y un rociador con dos modos de rociado.
Por su evidente calidad y la garanta de una marca como Gardena la recomiendo totalmente. Si ests pensando en adquirir este producto espero que mi opinin te sea til.
